These are the oysters that come with La mansion michelada
    Candice H.

The restaurant has appeared to have been recently renovated. There are new booths, tables, and menus. Everything looks elegant, clean and tastefully decorated. We ordered Micheladas (La Mansion with oysters). They were over-the-top generously crafted, and super delicious compared to other micheladas we've tried. These were one of the better ones out there. I got a molcajete, which was very tasty. My husband got street tacos and a half dozen of raw oysters. The server was courteous. We had a few hiccups with what was available on the menu so it took a little for my food to arrive after I had to change what I originally ordered. Overall, this is a nice restaurant to come check out if you like mexican seafood or just Mexican food.

I want to say at the outset that my family adored the food. Mexican seafood is uncommon in most of the US and most people do it poorly. But everything we ate was delicious from the ceviche tostada to shrimp tacos to crab legs to fajitas ... the food was superb. The problem is management. The menus have not been updated to reflect new pricing and the owners way of getting around this is posting a "sign" (8x11 sheet of paper on the front register) that lets diners know the prices have changed (even if not reflected so on the menu). Our bill was $40 more than we expected and that is a lot for a family of five. When we asked our server, she admitted that she should have been more clear when we were ordering. She offered to reduce the price of two items to the original menu price, but that was only $15 off the first bill.

Love coming here when I'm in town! Pros: Always easy to get a table, big menu, food is consistent and always hot. Cons: They add cheese to their fajitas which is a major downer for me and their guac is a bit bland.

Delicious food, cozy ambiance, peppy music. My husband took me here for a date night and they had the freshest guacamole and a very nice tart margarita. My husband has the enchiladas a la crema and I had 3 adobada tacos.

Shout out to Jennifer for being a great hostess/waitress. The food and drinks were very good. My friend got a seafood dish with octopus in it and we were surprised by how tender it was.

Came here on a Saturday evening. As we walked in we were warned that our food may take a while to be prepared. Sounds like maybe they were short staffed. The lady that greeted us at the door was the same lady that waited on us. There were a few other diners. Our order was taken in a timely manner. Soft drinks are sold by the can or bottle, so no refills. The chips were very crunchy and darker in color than most other restaurants. The salsa was good but did not pack any heat and left more to be desired. I decided to go with the seafood chimichanga. It has been a while since I have had one. It was packed with a seafood mix and cheese. It wasn't really what I was expecting and a little different than what I have had in the past at other establishments. The refried beans were a little salty and the rice portion is extremely small. We also ordered some ceviche, which was good...but for some reason was brought out after the main entree. We had the la mansion platter, wet burrito, LA burrito, chicken chimichanga, 3 tacos--chicken tacos (thought it was supposed to come with rice/beans but didn't) and the shrimp burrito. Everybody seemed to have liked their food, but noted that it was salty. When the food came out, it had a nice presentation. I would not say that the food was as good as I would have hoped for it to be. Not sure if this just wasn't the right night to visit but I can say it was a little disappointing considering there are many Mexican restaurants in the area. Customer service, outside of the wait time, was pleasant.

If you want seafood and Mexican this is the place! Some of the best ceviche on oysters I've ever had, shrimp and cheese dip--soo gooey and yum-o, and the Coctel Cameron omg. Great portions, homemade chips and a swordfish on the wall to boot! Visiting a friend here and she misses Mexican food back in Nevada, so this was a great choice.

Best enchiladas ever. Seriously - we've been to many many Mexican restaurants and the red sauce here is the best.

The flavor of the chicken has almost a Smokey quality which seemed a Step above some other places locally. They must use some amazing Marinade. The beans in my Plate were just how I like them Smooth with a Hint of texture, not too much. The rice was moist and well cooked not to mention, flavorful as well. My wife got the nachos which she absolutely loved and only had 5 chips left over which, being the good guy I am, helped with. Seriously though the nachos were great. She added extra jalepeno which they had no problem doing for her . Back to the story... The food is generally very good, but sans the experienced server, it tends to fall apart. Firstly, the prices are a little high for the ambiance. Secondly, the ambiance is a bit worn for the prices. Thirdly, it's mostly like walking into a mall where over half the stores are now shuttered. It's like they don't care anymore. Lots of unfulfilled potential here. But, the food is generally very good. I almost always get the arroz con pollo (chicken with rice), and it's a pretty full plate (lots of rice). There is the expected Spanish music playing in the background, and the tv's are set to various sports in the bar area. All in all, clean the place up and get all servers to be like their one superstar, they'd be an easy five star stop!
