I will start off by saying that the entire staff at Align chiropractic and wellness are such sweet, funny, patient and helpful people! My relationship with this office started last year when I was rear-ended in my car. I had awful whiplash and couldn't move my neck! Dr. Fernandez got me an appointment first thing in the morning and I already felt better after the first visit. After a week and a half of seeing him, I had no neck pain at all! He is incredible. I have woken up in excruciating neck or back pain (from how I sleep / my posture is horrible), and they always squeeze me in right away! My boyfriend and I were on our way to go-cart racing when we noticed Align. A few days later, a co-worker of mine mentioned that he was going to get adjusted. A few days later, he brought me a flier and it turned out that he went to Align! So I took it as a sign. Today I called to see if they had any appointments available for later on during the day. I was so surprised to hear that they did. I was able to schedule my bf and I at the same time. When we arrived everybody was very nice. We filled out some paperwork and then Dr. Fernandez asked us some questions and checked us out. He immediately could tell where our pain was and where it wasn't. My upper back was completely stiff and my shoulder was hurting. After he checked us out, we were taken to the back to lay on massage beds that were heated. The nurse turned off the light, closed the curtain and left us for 10 minutes. After our backs were warmed up, we saw Dr. Fernandez and he adjusted our bodies. I didn't feel uncomfortable once. I immediately felt relief! The best part was that it didn't hurt one bit! When I left, I noticed how much of a difference he made. My back wasn't stiff anymore and my shoulder pain was gone! I came after an accident and it's the best that I've been too. During the waiting time at the front they'd bring me to a room where there's massage tables that heat up for your back and the receptionist is super nice and helpful. The feeling I had when leaving the place was wonderful, I felt like when genie came out of the lamp after 10,000 years! On Halloween of 2008 I suffered a car accident as I left work. The impact affected my lower back to the point where I could not bear standing, sitting or laying down. I had tremendous pain and I got a lawyer involved. Our lawyer referred us to Dr. Fernandez. At the time his office was located in Reseda. My mother and I both went in for treatment since we were both in the accident together. He was amazing! He has a very warm personality and he makes you feel very comfortable. We improved under his care and then I don't quite recall why our lawyer transferred us to a chiropractor close to home. It was unfortunate since Dr. Fernandez helped tremendously and my back healed in time. This is exactly what I needed 3 years ago and now there is a family plan! When I got in a bicycle injury 3 years ago, Dr. Fernandez told me exactly what was wrong, a clear treatment plan and no sales pitch. My should hear tears and had been dislocated. After several weeks I was back to yoga again! Fast forward, I wish I had kept up with my regular adjustments. I switched jobs and both my husband and I had acute back back in different places. I couldn't walk at that point I had such sciatic nerve pain. I am now jogging, up and down from my chair and walking with no pain.
