Ready to stay 1 more night in Napa. Already 3 nights into a 1 night stay and no vacancy anywhere. Since we were in the Yountville area we opted for the Alila, a Hyatt brand, in St. Helena makes it 4 nights. This place is super expensive. Good thing I had a bunch of World of Hyatt points to use instead cash. Driving in there are only a few parking spaces so have to use valet parking which I'm never a fan of. But, first perk, it's free. After check in a bell hop walked us to our room. Upon opening the door we are greeted with a awesome view of the Beringer Winery grounds and after stepping on the deck a creek below us. Lots of electronics here including light switches, a tablet with hotel information and be warned as you approach the bathroom the computer toilet lid opens on its own. You've been warned. The light switches by the bed has a romantic setting. Not sure what it did cause the lighting looked the same. All the light control were on touch pads. The deck overlooking the creek and Beringer had a nice couch and 2 big cushioned rocking chairs around a round gas fire pit. It a controlled by a timer on the wall so if you fell asleep out there it would go off on its own. At night the deck is very private but come morning it might be a good idea to wear clothes since people are walking around on the grounds across the way. Unless you just don't care. For dinner we went Salvia on the grounds and perk 2...free corkage for the first bottle when you stay at the hotel. The air stayed on all night which keeps it nice and cool. In the past at other places I've rigged up balloons and other stuff to trick the sensors to keep the air on. So back to Mr. Toilet. Not only does the lid open it is a full bidet with seat warmer, sprays and air dryer. If you want one for your home they are on Amazon. The grounds look great with pool and gym etc. Didn't take in any of the other amenities this time. read more

We got off to a bit of a rocky start to our stay here and that's possibly because we arrived early. We had a long drive and had planned to get some lunch and do some shopping on our way so I thought I had planned it out to arrive around 4:00 (check-in) however, because of the terrible heat lately we found we were not interested in lingering any longer than necessary and that caused us to arrive early. There is really no parking available here. There are a handful of spots that I assume are always taken and then the valet area. They charge $35 per night for the valet, which is not unreasonable, but if I had known then what I know now, I would have parked somewhere nearby and sat in my car in the AC for an hour. We had requested early check-in just in case, and as it was my first time at this property, I assumed I could check out the grounds If they still needed a few moments to prepare my accommodation. I travel a lot and I have been early to many check-ins and either the room is ready or I sit in the air-conditioned lobby while I wait. Honestly, having been to Alila Ventana Big Sur multiple times, I did not think there would be any issue. When we exited the car, the valet directed us to the check-in area. I am not being hyperbolic when I tell you that it was smaller than my walk-in closet. There were three employees inside and us walking in filled the entire room. We were told we could have a seat but I almost laughed. The room is so uncomfortably tiny. A second employee had to squeeze around us with a tablet to go outside and check in another couple while we were being helped. I asked if they had a lobby (hoping to head indoors and rest somewhere with AC) and I was told, with a laugh mind you, "This is it!". Even the staff knows it is ridiculous. Ultimately, they explained that they did not have a room ready and they would put us on a wait list and we could check out the grounds while we waited. The problem with this is that there are really no grounds to check out. There is a grassy area, a pool and a covered area by the bar. We were also advised we could walk over a bridge and down to the neighboring Beringer Vineyards for a discounted tasting. We walked over to look at the pool, which is incredibly small, not as comically small as that check-in area mind you, but still far too small. We were already dripping sweat at this time, but we tried to make the best of it by playing some cornhole. That lasted for 2 minutes and then we sat in the shade by the bar with some waters and waited in the horrible heat. A patron at the bar was complaining of the heat and asked that more fans be brought out so someone placed one on the counter for her. I also heard staff tell her that they have been asking their management for misters for this area because the heat is so unbearable. We meant to grab some bath salts on the way but forgot, so in an attempt to escape the heat, we eventually headed to the spa to purchase some. I spoke to two employees multiple times explaining that I wanted something for the room. I did not like the smell of their larger containers they showed me and opted for singular bath bombs. I liked the lemongrass and lavender. When I did finally make it to my room, I found complimentary bath salt near the tub. This is not a big deal, but it would have been nice if one of them had mentioned that the same items would have been provided for free in my room and saved me the time and money. After my purchase, I went back out into the heat to wait some more. I just want it noted that the rest of our stay was fine, but this introduction to the property was terrible and it is the part that made the mark on my memory of the service and quality here and how they treat their guests. Our room was lovely, easily 9/10. My only complaints are that the beverage cooler did not cool our non alcoholic drinks. It seems to be only for wine and ran at about 60 degrees instead of the 40 I was hoping for. My husband is allergic to alcohol and he likes his drinks cool as well. Unfortunately, there are also no ice dispensers, so you have to either walk to the bar with your bucket and ask for ice or call and request that someone bring it to you. We declined to do either in the heat. There was a tear in our automatic drapes which let some light through and the constant noise from the street was quite loud. However, the bed was very comfortable. I loved the toto bidet (I have them at home) and the small bottle of complimentary Pinot Noir was a nice gesture even if I did not care for it personally. The balcony was lovely and I made good use of the fire pit. We also did an activity while we were here and paid $300 for what was booked as a 90 minute education. It only lasted about 40. Although I enjoyed it, they may want to change the time allowance on the guest reservations as many people factor that into the cost before booking. Based on our experience, I don't know if we'd stay here again. read more

Day four of what was supposed to be a one-night stay in Napa. This is how most of our Napa excursions turn out. What can I say, goofing off in Napa beats the heck out of adulting any day. Our stay started off at the downtown Napa Andaz, but they were fully booked when we tried extending our stay, so we stayed at three different places in the area, the final one being Alila. RB had ample points to cover our stay - get that Hyatt credit card, y'all - which is awesome, because a night at this place costs more than a month's rent. But let's not talk prices, it's gauche. The hotel is beautiful, as you would expect of a hotel of this caliber. We were in Room 107, with a perfect view overlooking a creek and lots of lush greenery. The room was spotless and comfortable, and I loved the marble bathroom. Also appreciated the scale in the bathroom. I typically bring my own scale on trips so I can monitor how much damage my gluttony is doing that I'm going to have to pay for later. We had dinner at the Salvia Terrace and Bar at the hotel, which was good, for which I'll do a separate review. We had a good night's sleep. The room was quiet and stayed comfortably cool. I cannot sleep in a warm room, and a major pet peeve of mine are those motion-sensor AC units that shut off at night, leading to a restless night when you're paying for a good night's sleep. Didn't have that issue here. We slept in late, and were getting ready to head out by the 11am checkout. At 11:01, the TV stopped working, a less-than-subtle reminder that 'you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.' Very nice stay, I'll be back here regularly if I win the lottery. Alila Napa - Excellent Service but Lacking Amenities We just returned from our weekend stay at the Alila Napa resort, and while the weekend itself was relaxing and wonderful, the hotel was not what we expected from an establishment of this caliber. The staff was absolutely fantastic, and the property was extremely clean and well maintained. We loved being able to communicate with the front desk and concierge through the app. The service and food at the onsite restaurant were also excellent. We especially enjoyed the variety of breakfast menu options and the delicious, unique execution of everything we tried. However, the amenities in our hotel room were not what we are accustomed to seeing at other Alila resorts or hotels of this caliber. There were absolutely no snacks or beverages aside from refillable water bottles that were not even chilled. There were no fruit or snack deliveries throughout our stay and no turndown service. It was also surprising to see small plastic coffee creamer containers -- something we honestly have not encountered in hotel rooms since staying at a Motel 6 nearly twenty years ago. While I did enjoy the Le Labo toiletries in the bathroom and shower, there were no makeup remover wipes, hair brushes, shaving products, or other thoughtful touches that are usually standard in five-star hotels. With so many wonderful resorts in the Napa area, we truly regretted spending our money here. read more

We booked this hotel through a Costco Travel package and paid for a room upgrade. Overall, the staff were not very friendly. Most of the front desk employees rarely smiled, and their attitude was cold and unwelcoming. On our first evening, we ordered a garden salad and a steak at the restaurant. The salad had dirt that had not been washed off properly. We sent it back, but the replacement had the same problem, so we couldn't eat it and left it. Later that night, we found a bug/spider inside the bed sheets. I removed it myself and slept there because it was late. The housekeeping staff did clean the room well the following day. The biggest issue, however, was the attitude of the front desk staff. When I mentioned the bug, they acted as if it was completely normal because the room had a terrace. While I understand that insects can occasionally appear in outdoor areas, I expected a more professional and concerned response. We also ordered room service. Before placing the order, I asked the staff at the bar how much the fruit bowl cost, and I was told it was $10. Based on that information, I ordered the fruit bowl along with a $60 bottle of champagne, planning to use the $75 Costco Travel hotel credit. However, when we checked the charges, the total was $125 because the fruit bowl actually cost $30, not $10. It seems the staff were not familiar with their own menu pricing. In addition, no itemized bill was brought to our room, so I now have to go to the front desk myself to verify the charges. Although we experienced several inconveniences during our stay, we chose to finish our trip and leave rather than continue making complaints. My wife and I visited over the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Note: We did book our stay using Hyatt points. Upon arrival, the concierge was helpful in taking our bags and parking the car (complimentary valet). Valet parking is not covered, so your car will be sitting in the sun in the summer. We had a smooth check in but were about 2 hours early from the original check in time. Luckily, they said the room should be ready within an hour and we were able to relax at the Salvia Bar in the meantime. The property itself is on the smaller side, but I do believe you're paying more for the room and location. There is a Tesla charger on property. They also have a first come first serve shuttle that takes you anywhere within a 6 mile radius, which was especially helpful for nearby wineries. We did not get to utilize the spa or the pool, but the gym was a decent size with a few treadmills, free weights, and a workout room where yoga and other classes are held. There are also extra towels and water bottles in the gym that you can grab. Breakfast at the Violetto was good (chilaquiles and breakfast bowl). We did not eat dinner on property but did get snacks and drinks from the Salvia Bar, which were tasty. The room (two queen vineyard view with fireplace) itself was very clean upon check in. Room service also left us a complimentary champagne bottle after check in for our anniversary. The Le Labo toiletries were a nice touch, along with the Toto toilet and touch light switches. AC worked perfectly as well. It was a bit too hot to utilize the fireplace, but the view of the vineyard was pretty. All in all, a great room with nice amenities. The property is on the smaller side so I'd probably suggest it more as a place to enjoy your room and venture out for more experiences. Great room experience. My husband and I have the room with a balcony and a tub on the balcony. It is an amazing room! I love it! My husband got us all the room packages available so it was ready with wine and champagne and snacks for the stay. They have 2 restaurants on site and a whole different bar terrace just for drinks which is outside with covering overhead so you can enjoy drinks even if it is raining. I completely love this place! The gym is spacious and I really like how close it is to the Beringer winery...literally you just walk across the bridge. read more

We recently visited the Alila and had a truly wonderful experience, largely thanks to the outstanding hospitality of the hotel manager, Alexis. While we ran into a very minor issue at the start of our evening, Alexis stepped in immediately and completely turned things around for my wife and I. She gave us 110% of her attention, handling the situation with the utmost professionalism, care, and attentiveness. You really don't get this level of service everywhere, and it truly makes you appreciate businesses that put the customer first. Review is for the spa only. Came here for just the day. Access to the spa also provides access to the outdoor pool but in January it was only heated slightly so not warm enough at all to want to get in. Spa only has a steam room which is co-ed and quite large. Spa has a co-ed sitting area. If you are looking for amenities this place lacks a bit bit the one thing I enjoyed was the peacefulness since it was not busy and I was able to relax even though I came on a weekend . Probably best to come in the summer to take advantage of the pool but it will likely be a lot busier too. read more

Fantastic stay at the Alila. From the luxe room with tub and fire pit on the balcony to the relaxing spa and yummy restaurant, Violeta (was Acacia House), the Alila checked off all the boxes for an unforgettable Napa stay. The staff was simply wonderful to top it off. However, the attention to detail and luxe touches will set you back 1k a night (stayed in June). Tips: Valet parking only but it's free and they'll charge your EV for you. Dear Alia St. Helena Team, I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the concierge experience during our recent stay, specifically in regard to Janice. This trip was booked in advance as a pre-Mother's Day celebration, and I had communicated with Janice to coordinate our itinerary. However, there was no follow-up from her leading up to our stay. I had to reach out again upon arrival, after which she called and confirmed an early wine tasting and a 5:00 PM spa appointment. When we arrived at the winery, we were told no reservation had been made. Thankfully, the winery owner generously accommodated us. Later that afternoon, we showed up for our 5:00 PM spa appointment, only to be informed--again--that nothing had been scheduled. When the spa staff contacted Janice, she first claimed everything had been handled via email, completely disregarding the phone call she had with me. Then she stated she had made two separate spa appointments, which made absolutely no sense as we are checking out the next morning and had clearly intended to enjoy this experience together. To be clear, the spa staff was incredibly kind, professional, and apologetic, and did their best to assist us despite the situation. The issue was entirely due to Janice's lack of organization and accountability. What made this even more upsetting was her attitude--she offered no sincere apology, showed no empathy, and instead casually said she'd give us "free breakfast," then turned and walked away. It was dismissive and disrespectful. This level of service is unacceptable for a resort of Alia's caliber. What should have been a relaxing, memorable celebration turned into a series of avoidable frustrations. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and that steps are taken to ensure better accountability and service in the future. read more

I was excited to come here but also hesitant after a not so great stay at Andaz Maui a couple weeks ago. When we arrived to our first winery someone called me from the hotel asking if I'd like an upgrade because they had one ready for me... uhh yeah! Got to the hotel around 2-3pm and everyone was so nice. Our valet guy took our bags up and even showed us how to use the fireplace and all the important buttons. He really paid attention to detail because we said we were going to dinner and asked what time. We told him and when we got outside a few hours later, we didn't even have to wait for our car! Someone the first night came for turndown service and brought brownies. So cool! She was also really nice and told us her favorite things about the property. We stayed at Alila Napa expecting a luxury experience when they charge $1,500/night, but the service today was shockingly below standard. We booked the complimentary shuttle and waited exactly where we were told. The driver "couldn't find us" and simply left without checking or calling. The manager later claimed they tried to call me -- yet I received no call at all. Offering $8 for an Uber as compensation at this price point is insulting. This is for making us wait for an hour plus with 80 yo in middle of heat. I called again and they didn't have courtesy to come by and pick us at a vineyard 2 min away. What's worse, the manager defended the situation instead of owning the mistake. If you have any issue here, do not expect them to meaningfully address it. At this level, I expect proactive service, accountability, and solutions -- none of which we experienced. Sadly, Alila Napa did not live up to the brand's reputation. read more

This review is primarily about the spa experience. I had a Talisman (Swedish) massage and requested firmer pressure, but the massage felt pretty weak. However, I didn't ask for further adjustment since I hadn't chosen a firmer option like a sports or deep tissue massage. The therapist was nice throughout the session. The biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the changing/shower room. I saw a group of ladies before me, and after my massage, when I returned to the room, used items were everywhere--sandals, towels, and robes scattered on the floor, and even a used razor and bandages... Ek!! I paid about $500, and I've never seen a spa this dirty and messy. While the previous guests should have cleaned up after themselves, I didn't see a single staff member tending to the area the entire time I was there. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with the experience. I understand that it was the off-season and there may have been fewer staff, but for the price I paid, I expected better treatment. If you're looking for a more luxurious experience, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Lastly, a quick note about the onsite restaurant, Violetto. We had dinner and breakfast there. Dinner was meh--we ordered pasta and steak, which were small portions but pricey. The server was nice, but it was a bit annoying to be asked, "How's everything?" constantly. The tiramisu, however, was great. For breakfast, we ordered room service from Violetto. Both the French toast and avocado croissant sandwich were good. However, they charge a $10 delivery fee plus a 22% service fee, making it quite expensive. That said, the in-room dining experience was enjoyable. read more

I came here for a daycation for Mother's Day weekend, and it was fabulous and beautiful. It definitely is a luxe hotel property, and me coming straight from Pilates to here made me feel like I was severely under dressed. But I will say the spa is hands-down 5 stars across the board! Service was impeccable! They did not judge and they were so nice and just great service and great explanations and just friendly and cordial and it was just absolutely terrific. My massage was so amazing. My masseuse was just gifted. That's the best way I can explain it. One of the best massages I've ever had. I also love how they give you the green tonic juice that they sell in the restaurant as a little wellness shot after your massage or service. After my massage, I decided to check out the steam room which I really loved and I thought was one of the cleanest I've ever been in and just absolutely perfect not too steamy not to anything just perfect. Then I headed to the pool and spent the rest of my time at the pool. I chose this hotel specifically because they offered bar and food service at the pool and the pool was cool and just quaint. The pool was amazing. The water was clear the pool was clean. I love the chairs. They were so flushed and comfortable. There was great sun, great views all around. I will say that the one downside was the service was not the best. I had one server who assisted me, but then disappeared and never even followed up with me to say that she was leaving or that she was transitioning me over to another server. The other server was really responsive and helpful, but when I tried to order something, they double charged me for something that was already on the menu. Since, I was ordering the burger and, the server failed to tell me that the burger came with fries, so I ordered fries on top of the burger because I thought there were no fries with it. But then the server brings out the burger with fries and a whole other order of fries telling me that fries came with the order. If I had known that I wouldn't of ordered a second set of fries. So I got charged for it, but of course I couldn't eat two plates of fries so that was a little frustrating. As I'm leaving, the server who had never told me that leaving, tracked me down and said I needed to close out my tab. And I told her that she never came back to check on me. So just some service things that probably needs to be worked out. I didn't find that the place was that busy today to warrant that service at the pool. Definitely could've been better, if things come with certain things or not. Because of that experience, I rated this four stars, but I want to be clear that the service at the spa was a five stars across-the-board. read more

This property is beautiful! Located right outside of Napa & very accessible for a day trip if you live in the bay area. Visited the spa for the day for a massage. Staff was very kind through the whole process. Big shoutout to the massage therapist, Britney, who did an amazing job with my massage. She is very knowledgeable and kind. If you book a treatment for the massage, you are able to enjoy the property for the rest of the day, which is a great bonus. Definitely worth the price for all the amenities. Will definitely be back, would love to check out the restaurant for dinner or lunch, as well as the yoga programs offered weekly. 10/10 read more

We just got back from our super short honeymoon and had an outstanding time at this resort. This resort is unlike any other place I've ever stayed, and it's in the top 3 resorts that I've ever stayed. When we arrived the first night, we were surprised how we didn't see any guests at all. The only people we saw were the resort staff. This hotel feels so private. The room was phenomenal, and it had a cool little creek outside the room. Everything was very clean, and the attention to detail by the housekeeping staff is on-par with the Ritz. All of the hotel staff that we encountered were so friendly. The food was first class as well. We'll definitely be returning to this hotel. read more

Having stayed at one of their sister property Ventana in Big Sur, I was looking forward to my stay here, while visiting Napa. I was torn with what rating to give this hotel as it has it's highs and lows. It is a high-end property, but given the price point, I expected more especially when comparing with Ventana. Upon check-in, you provide your vehicle to the valet (included in resort fee) and they provide complimentary wine. We arrived around 2pm and our room (318) was ready. This is listed as a King Bed with Vineyard Room and located on the first floor. Like others have mentioned, I would ask for a higher floor to have a better view of the vineyards and to avoid hearing people in the room above you as noise from people walking is quite evident. There were some hiccups with the exact room we booked, but management did their best to try to find a mutual solution. There is a resort fee, but it was a bit unclear what it covered as there isn't any hotel information guide in the room. From what I can tell, it includes valet parking, at least a 1/2 bottle of wine and $25 daily mini bar credit. This is waived if you book your room with points. The grounds is on the smaller side with the main amenities being the pool, gym and restaurant. There is a bridge to the adjacent Beringer vineyard, but it's by appointment only and if you are interested, make sure to make a reservation ahead of time as they get filled quickly. The room was clean and modern with comfortable outdoor and indoor seating. There is a fire pit that was nice on chilly nights. They also have a Toto toilet. A nespresso machine and assortment of tea are complimentary and they have a mini bar with some highly marked up drinks. At turndown, they give some macarons from a local eatery, which was a nice touch. Room light switches were "modern", but actually a bit frustrating as the placements weren't very intuitive. For example, the actual switches for the toilet and closet are not located inside the space itself. The pool was a nice temperature and was long enough to do laps. There aren't many lounge chairs around, but it never felt crowded. We had breakfast and dinner at Acacia house and food was great, but pricey. See my review under "Acacia House" for more details. The gym was fantastic and has a nice mixture of cardio, free weights, rowing machines and a couple of Peloton bikes. They also hold some complimentary weekly exercise classes in the morning. One thing that really irked me was that there is a lot of plastic waste with the water bottles and I would have much preferred refillable water stations. Overall, the stay was comfortable, but it was night and day between here and Ventana. Alila Napa Valley feels more of a stopover, while Ventana Big Sur felt more of an immersive experience that you could really feel a personal touch. For example, at both locations, we were celebrating a babymoon. Alila Napa Valley provided a bottle of wine to celebrate, while Ventana also provided a non-alcoholic sparkling wine and a baby onesie that really showed that they tailor the experience to the guests. Also, for a high-end property, you expect the stay to be smooth for guests. However, I had to message the property multiple times in order for requests to be completed such as requesting toilettries or different food items and had to keep reminding them that breakfast was included in our stay. read more

Belated review: Lucked out on booking a room in spring '22 at the Alila for a night in order attend my friend's wedding nearby. This was our second stay within the Alila brand, and I now see the allure for wine enthusiasts! Waking up to a view of the vineyard, with a hot cup of coffee in hand just hits different. We even brought our BA F pajamas from the previous winter holiday, great for that cool spring morning while relaxing on the balcony or deck. The hotel grounds were nice to walk around in, and we were able to pop on over to the winery next door for a quick stroll. As for the room itself, I really liked the rustic feel, although it had a more modern & minimalist style compared to say, Ventana Big Sur. We found the king bed very comfortable and quickly fell asleep upon climbing under the covers. The rainfall shower stall was wonderful and spacious for a couple. My partner and I have a noticeable height difference, so shower stall size and water pressure are important factors for high review marks. The more recent 4* and above Hyatts that I've stayed at all have Nespresso machines, and Alila Napa didn't fall short in that regard, which was great. Globalist breakfast didn't have a limit, so we ordered a few items to try. Honestly, the quality was great and we loved that the on-site restaurant menu had a mix of healthy options and handcrafted espresso drinks. Wait staff are also quick to check on your table and if the sun is too strong, moving indoors wasn't an issue. Definitely one of the top Hyatt elite breakfast experiences we've had within the US. The checkin front desk was very friendly, providing 4pm late checkout without any issues despite a popular weekend. The staff we briefly ran into were kind and made sure we didn't get lost (I'm directionally challenged, coupled with poor night vision lol). If you can swing it with either cash or points, this is a great place to stay when the weather is nice. Alila Napa Valley is one of the newest hotels/resorts to be added to the World of Hyatt portfolio. It's a category 7 property which means at minimum it'll take 30,000 World of Hyatt points to redeem a room here. Alila is one of the newest brands in the Hyatt portfolio, having joined as part of Hyatt's acquisition of Two Roads Hospitality. Alila is known as a brand with distinct locations offering something unique to the region. The Napa Valley location is no exception. The property itself is gorgeous. Fronted by a historic white Victorian farmhouse which houses the hotel's restaurant Acacia House, most of its rooms are split into three, 3 story buildings two of which face the Beringer Vineyards while one facing the historic Rhine House on the Beringer property. They are considered Estate View rooms. Parking is complimentary for this property property some of the most helpful attendants in the valley. I kid you not, these guys literally make the resort what it is. The things that Alila Napa Valley does well. -beautiful property with a intimate and quint feel, due to its size with only 69 rooms and suites. -it's rooms are modern and sleek, but also manage to feel cozy and homey. -the fire pit on the balcony of each room with really comfortable rocking chairs. -complimentary bikes that you can use to ride to and from vineyard tours. Things that Alila can definitely improve upon. -Integration with its neighbors Beringer Vineyards. It is literally connected by a bridge, yet there are no benefits other than the view. -better communication between the restaurant and the front desk staff. We were told that hotel guests did not need a reservation at a restaurant that was only open to hotel guests at this time, but the restaurant told us differently, -most importantly, they really need to identify what makes them an unique property. We know why people spend years trying to redeem points for the Ventana Big Sur resort, but with based room rates almost comparably to its sister resort in Big Sur, yet there isn't that distinct experience that differentiates this property from its Napa neighbors. I think this can be a five star resort, but right now it's just missing that thing that makes it memorable and one property that people will want to frequent year after year. read more

There has never been a place that deserved 5 stars like Alila Napa does. We just checked out after staying a short two nights and I'm so incredibly sad to be leaving. Heidi, if you are reading this- BRAVO!!! Chef's kiss, you and your team deserve everything. Top notch experience and I already can't wait to go back. We're Hyatt loyalist and have stayed at a few different properties and this was by far our #1 experience. The food was absolutely delicious and I encourage you to enjoy breakfast on their patio. We had the best smoked ham Benedict I think I've ever had (and I'm a Benedict lover). They served my latte in what looked to be a stemless insulated cup, so it stayed warm the entire time I was enjoying my food. The pool- my gosh what a breathtaking view. We weren't able to find the time to get in but strolling over and enjoying that view around the fire pit was incredible. The rooms- I'm extremely particular about details and service. At turn down, everything was cleaned up, water at the bedside and delicious cookies to enjoy before bed. I would highly recommend upgrading to a room with the tub and fire pit. We spent as much time there as possible. The Toto toilets were accompanied with heated bidets (if you know, you know). The pillows, the comforter, the seating, the showers, the intricate details upon details upon gorgeous details. I noticed another reviewer mentioned the property was loud but I didn't experience that. It was so quiet and at times we felt we were the only ones there. read more

Came for a short stay and had such a relaxing time. It was nice to have such a spacious room where they thought of everything. Most hotels, even high end ones, have a crappy hair dryer but not this one. They had a full size professional hair dryer which worked better than my one at home. I loved their soaking tub with rain shower head. They had the high end Toto toilets with the bidet and heated toilet seats. The fire pit is on a 30 minute timer which was a nice way to spend our morning. Ordered room service and gazed at the vineyard over the fire. We had a Talisman massage which was a very relaxing experience. Only con for me was not knowing ahead of booking they were doing construction on the reception area. And the parking area was a little confusing as you have to park in handicap area for valet to take your car. Overall I highly recommend coming here. The service is impeccable. read more

The staff is sensitive to client needs at a really high level here. The turndown service sweets are top-notch. The hen at the restaurant (Salvia restaurant if you're not staying here) is an absolute must.
