Stayed here for two nights during COVID times to get away from SF, and it was fantastic. I'm surprised there are very few recent reviews, but in late summer 2020 the rooms are modern, spacious, and luxurious with high vaulted ceilings in both room and bathroom. I included some bathroom photos too, for those who are PICKY about these things (I am a self-proclaimed bathroom snob). The room was a haven during the heat wave, and nicely air conditioned. The fireplace was classy but during the heat wave + fires it went unused of course (would be nice during winter). Complimentary breakfast is delivered to your room at the time of your choice to minimize interactions - just mark on a paper your choices of hot and cold beverages, continental items like pastries and fruit, and cheeses and drop it off at the front desk. Super easy and a great amenity. We still ate brunch on Main Street after. They left a little "good night" paper bag of mini water bottles and dark chocolate cookies on the door in the evening - what a nice touch! A pizzeria with happy hour $1 oysters is directly downstairs around the corner, and we happily ate there every day. The grounds are lush and shaded, and felt like a magical getaway from the city. We also used the complimentary health spa facilities next door - mostly lounged by the pool to escape the heat. There were a few exercise machines inside and outside but we didn't use these (it was 115 degrees outside). We saw personnel wiping down chairs after patrons left. Minor cons: the WiFi was indeed spotty as some had mentioned. We inquired at the front desk and they said something broke overnight and wouldn't be fixed until several days later. So if you are WiFi dependent for work or whatnot, this might not be the most reliable place for you. A few cobwebs here and there behind outlets and from the high vaulted bathroom ceiling (not sure how you would clean that except with a 20' broom).

Beautiful stay with great amenities. The staff is very friendly and their fitness area is amazing. Highly recommend using their lavender steam room! Expect to spend a pretty penny tho.

Extremely satisfied with our stay here! Staff was great room and facilities were nice, but most importantly the room was very clean! That's a must and they delivered on cleanliness! As far as the location goes it's perfectly centered around the best wines and food napa has to offer from what we can gather ( based on yelp reviews) Price was good, we booked on hotels tonight and saved about $40 which was cool! Bed, in our opinion, was very comfortable. Also they have a FULL gym, only hotel gym I have ever seen that has real dumbbells that go up to 95.... so I can do my curls! And a beautiful pool! Oh last thing, room has a real fire place!

This place is super expensive. Good thing I had a bunch of World of Hyatt points to use instead cash. Driving in there are only a few parking spaces so have to use valet parking which I'm never a fan of. But, first perk, it's free. After check in a bell hop walked us to our room. Upon opening the door we are greeted with a awesome view of the Beringer Winery grounds and after stepping on the deck a creek below us. Lots of electronics here including light switches, a tablet with hotel information and be warned as you approach the bathroom the computer toilet lid opens on its own. You've been warned. The light switches by the bed has a romantic setting. Not sure what it did cause the lighting looked the same. All the light control were on touch pads. The deck overlooking the creek and Beringer had a nice couch and 2 big cushioned rocking chairs around a round gas fire pit. It a controlled by a timer on the wall so if you fell asleep out there it would go off on its own. At night the deck is very private but come morning it might be a good idea to wear clothes since people are walking around on the grounds across the way. Unless you just don't care. For dinner we went Salvia on the grounds and perk 2...free corkage for the first bottle when you stay at the hotel. The air stayed on all night which keeps it nice and cool. In the past at other places I've rigged up balloons and other stuff to trick the sensors to keep the air on. So back to Mr. Toilet. Not only does the lid open it is a full bidet with seat warmer, sprays and air dryer. If you want one for your home they are on Amazon. The grounds look great with pool and gym etc. Didn't take in any of the other amenities this time.

What can I say, goofing off in Napa beats the heck out of adulting any day. Our stay started off at the downtown Napa Andaz, but they were fully booked when we tried extending our stay, so we stayed at three different places in the area, the final one being Alila. RB had ample points to cover our stay - get that Hyatt credit card, y'all - which is awesome, because a night at this place costs more than a month's rent. But let's not talk prices, it's gauche. The hotel is beautiful, as you would expect of a hotel of this caliber. We were in Room 107, with a perfect view overlooking a creek and lots of lush greenery. The room was spotless and comfortable, and I loved the marble bathroom. Also appreciated the scale in the bathroom. I typically bring my own scale on trips so I can monitor how much damage my gluttony is doing that I'm going to have to pay for later. We had dinner at the Salvia Terrace and Bar at the hotel, which was good, for which I'll do a separate review. We had a good night's sleep. The room was quiet and stayed comfortably cool. I cannot sleep in a warm room, and a major pet peeve of mine are those motion-sensor AC units that shut off at night, leading to a restless night when you're paying for a good night's sleep. Didn't have that issue here. We slept in late, and were getting ready to head out by the 11am checkout. At 11:01, the TV stopped working, a less-than-subtle reminder that 'you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.' Very nice stay, I'll be back here regularly if I win the lottery. Make sure you bring cash to tip the bell hops and valet parkers.

The room itself that we have which is in the cottage House is quaint and simple but really quite comfortable. everything is clean and they are just so attentive for anything you could possibly need or want. As we are not staying in the main house we get a continental style breakfast in the morning and again Mimi goes out of the way to provide freshly baked breads and muffins and fruit that she's picked from her trees and tomatoes that she's picked from her gardens And homemade jams again from the fruits of her garden and does everything possible to make you enjoy yourselves. And this year we have also been fortunate enough for her to provide us with these incredible homemade organic exquisite unusual iced teas again from various ingredients on her property. They are delicious and unlike anything we've ever had. And once again not to be repetitive or redundant, but this is not something that she has to do for us this is something that she wants to do just to share because that's what kind of person she is. It seems that housekeeping is not doing a good job of cleaning the sheets each night. The poor housekeeping is especially concerning amidst the pandemic. It's concerning enough that blood is on the sheets and not being cleaned, and it's a whole other concern that housekeeping didn't even notice the stained sheets. We called the front desk to request new sheets and blankets, but they were only able to provide us with a very thin sheet, so despite booking a deluxe king room, we had to sleep without comfy sheets and blankets.
