I got a flat tire the other night at the intersection of Dale Mabry and MLK, but fortunately was able to pull into a deserted parking lot just past the intersection. I called AAA, since I've been a member since 2014, at 5:01 PM. No problem - they said - you'll hear from dispatch. I get a text message saying a truck will be there at 5:31 PM. Perfect. But 5:31 PM comes and goes, and then I get an automated message saying the new time is 6:50 PM. What the living ??? I call in, say that's not acceptable since I'm not in the greatest of areas, and now it's completely dark outside, and they say they'll try to find other options. But I never hear back. And 6:50 PM goes and goes, so I call AGAIN, and am told by dispatch now the company they hired to do the job, Pete's something, is not answering their phone. Are you kidding me? I go ahead and make alternate arrangements to pay out of pocket, when finally I hear from a different AAA company that they'll be there in 45 minutes. Fabulous. The guy that came out spoke zero English, did not have the right size tire iron to undo the bolts holding the tire on, and had no air pump to fill the donut, but at least he got the donut on and I could get home. Over 3 hours after I initially placed my service call. AAA won't let you cancel your membership, but you have my personal guarantee that as of next August, I am DONE with their nonsense. Would never recommend.

It is NOT an assisted living, it is an Airbnb. The kitchen is l8cated more or less outside with a…read moremetal ceiling, which makes it 110 degrees when cooking in 95+° weather. You can get heat stroke trying to cook in that heat wave of a kitchen. Not to mention the rats. The house is nice, however the owner keeps the house hot and the only room that actually has access to control the temperature is room number 4 that is directly across from the kitchen. It was rented by a family member for 2 weeks (the whole house), and she paid a pet deposit. On the 2nd or 3rd day, she went to sit down at the kitchen table and landed on the floor. She sat in a broken chair, that appeared to be fine when she pulled it out. She didn't file an incident report because of the owner allowing the pets and alliwing the whole house to be booked for the 2 weeks. Now the owner is trying to charge her an extra $300.00 for the chair breaking on her and something to do with one of the dogs (instead of tmusing the pet deposit). The internet is intermittent at best. We cleaned and sanitized the whole house before leaving and only had sheets that needed to be washed. The refrigerator in the outside kitchen and the one in the back area did not work. The TV in the back area wouldn't even turn on, even after we replaced the batteries in the remote. The washer and dryer in the back area were not operational, and the washer off the side area of the house did not work either. Had to wash laundry outside in the heat and humidity. This is not good for anyone who is not acclimated to Tampa's heat and humidity. The photo I am uploading is of the "heatstroke kitchen." I hope you enjoy being videoed during your entire stay. The camera's he claim's to only be in "the common areas" are also in each of the bedrooms. When you see the red light on them, don't mistake them forsmoke detectors because they're not, they are cameras.
