They had a good selection of birthday cards, which saved me a trip to the Hallmark store (I love that place). Very friendly cashier as I was checking out. What I did not appreciate: COUNT YOUR BALLOONS.; I was supposed to receive 18, but I only had 17. Higher priority placed on filling balloons than assisting a customer. Despite having 4-5 staff members in the balloon area, no one stopped to assist with my order, and I only received help after voicing a concern. This place is amazing. 2013 I came here for prom and I came back 2025 for my baby shower. Ivan the manager/supervisor created my balloon arch and did an AMAZING job. It's $15 a foot which is a very good price. I'd highly recommend going there and getting your balloon arch's done rather than spending 600-1,000 dollars. read more

That didn't stop me from going almost I'll toil and checking things out. Of course I was looking for deals and found a couple of party favor bags and a glue stick that I need it for my craft, SCORE, 50% off! I'll definitely return. Staff was kind & helpful, amiable, always appreciate that. Plenty of parking since it's at a place called Carwood Plaza (Carson & Woodruff) where Sprouts, Marshalls, Homegoods, (places I frequent) Harbor Freight, Smart & Final, etc. It's got party supplies, crafts & balloon making department, catering supplies & more. Horrible, horrible store! They had a sign outside the store that said Thanksgiving and Christmas was on sale, which lured us inside. Once inside the door, you have to maneuver through a metal anti-theft device just to enter the store. Once inside the store, everything was locked up! Seriously, who is going to steal a bunch of cheap party decorations that look like they were ordered from oriental trading company? That is the quality of the party decor here! Total junk. The leftover halloween decor and supplies were on sale, but they were all locked up! Cheap, flimsy plastic, mass produced halloween masks....locked up. It was unbelievable. Their helium doesn't work, I rented a tank and the balloons fell in four hours and they didn't want to give me a refund. Other people have had the same issue... I took the same balloons to Ralph's and they stayed up more than a day. I had to spend double and my gas for something that should've worked the first time. Don't waste your money here. Do not come here. First of all, Sonia has very poor customer service. She's rude and demeaning and has no respect for customers. Saturday we rented a helium tank. They charged us 100 dollars AND a security deposit of 150. Balloons were blown up at home with the tank we rented, at 4 am for a gender reveal. By 8 am, ALL the balloons were on the floor. The helium didn't work. When we talked to Sonia, she did not care for the situation and had no time to hear our concern. Worst customer service and I want my refund. read more

I come to Alin's very often for supplies for balloon arches. I came in and they didn't have the right sizes for the color I was looking for. So I asked the woman (with light brown/blondish hair) at the balloon desk if she could help me combine two colors together to pick the right mix for the color I showed her. She said she didn't know how to do that. I said that's fine, if you could just give me a few different colors I could do it myself. So she did. I found the right match, and said thank you very much, sorry for the trouble. Then she asked if I needed the original bag of balloons (which she moved to behind the desk so I couldn't reach them).
