I'd booked with a different company, who texted at the last minute that they weren't going to be there on time. Not getting a new time, I reached out again to those who had responded. Metro had originally stated that they could come out on Friday. I didn't want to wait that long, so I got on their list to see if they'd make it out on Thursday. I was contacted a short time later that someone would be out between noon and 4. Relieved, I got back to work. It was close to 3 when the nice young man arrived. I let him in and ge went right to work. Less than 30 minutes later, he'd cleaned out and tightened everything that caused the issue. The cost was $120. This was a quick, inexpensive repair with very friendly service. I've already given their name to a friend who's having plumbing issues at his home. Thanks Metro! I know who to call when the need arises again.

It took them two more days to get the estimate to me and it did not arrive when they said it would. When they got it to it to me, it was too late and they did not give me the estimate in the way that I asked for it. Communicate with the company was not acceptable, I could not get ahold of the person I needed to talk to, they would not let me email with them.

Of course it had to be during the summer when it is crazy hot here, so everyone in the neighborhood was booking services. One company I had come out quoted me well over five grand to install a new AC unit. I wasn't having that and started talking to our new neighbors. One of them just had their AC unit replaced last year and recommended Apple Lake. I gave them a call and found out that they could get me the same unit (just a different brand) for half as much. And no, this wasn't some cheap brand, this is Carrier. The company was founded by the guy who invented AC... Installation was a breeze (no pun intended!) and it was great working with the staff. They went above and beyond customer service to make sure we were taken care of. Finally, we have cool air back in our house and couldn't be happier with our experience.

We decided to replace our 25 year old furnace with a Carrier product. There were no gimmicks or talks from them about purchasing products we didn't need, just a first rate efficient furnace. Basically, she "looked into it" and there is nothing that she can do. No refund, no nothing. She tells me- I need to work with Maytag- which I have and work with Warner's Stellian repair department- which I have. She apologized for the frustrating situation. Frustrating? Yeah, I would say more than frustrating. This is the WORST experience buying appliances/customer experience. They do not care. They have my thousands of dollars for the appliances and have washed their hands of it. I wish I would've read the yelp reviews before buying from them. We bought 3 major appliances from here years ago and had no issues. Warner's has gone downhill. I think the intent of the replies on yelp from the business owner, is to make it look like they care and are going to help, but they don't. I had to give 1 star in order to post the review. Otherwise, it would be zero or below the bar.

Looking at other reviews, defective products seem to be a pattern of this store. Too bad because customer service was excellent before. Will keep you posted if anything gets done about this.

Furnace: Jan 28th -2nd day of -20 and my furnace wasn't working. I really felt the pressure of burst h2o pipes. I wish I would have called for 2nd opinion. I won't say how much he charged me to replace my furnace, but it turned out that it was ~$3500 more than it should have been. If it even needed to be done in the first place. A/C: April 24th, he came back to give a complimentary A/C clean and mtnc. Gave me a bunch of lies of I should refill the freone levels and I have a leak in the line that he can patch for $2300. I called a reputable HVAC company and they said that was a complete line. That gas was pulled from market 6 yrs ago, and would NEVER be an option. My A/C was fine.

We looked around and read many reviews. We decided to contact Twin Cities Furnace Cleaning. They did not answer the phone right away but I received a call very quickly. I explained the situation and how we have some allergies, and they took the time to listen and go over all the details. They then recommended Steve who is the go-to guy when it comes to allergies as well as other things related. We set up an appointment with Steve, and Steve arrived early. He set up his equipment and was very mindful about making a mess as well as getting things dirty and wet. He took his time to explain as well as show me what was going on and answer all my questions. Because of allergies Steve took his time and made sure each vent was cleaned as best as possible. The things I saw in the ductwork were scary, which had built up over the years of this property. After he was done, we swapped the air filter and within 20 minutes of running, I could smell the difference in the air. The air felt lighter and did not have a heavy feel. Also, my air purifiers were not reading off the charts anymore. Steve did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend him as well as Twin Cities Furnace Cleaning. I ended up getting their Ultimate cleaning or whatever the highest one was, and compared to other places, it was cheap. The price you pay for what you get is a bargain. It ended up being $541.00 with tax and worth every penny.

This resulted in a costly last-minute repair to my ceiling. Essentially this means that you are at the mercy of a potential crappy insurance policy carried by the contractor and that the owner takes no personal responsibility for potential damage.
