Fast easy set up! They take plastic too and they offer a frequent buyer card with extra perks. The only thing that can get tricky is "if" they are closed for after hours the Alka H20 machine can be tricky so pay attention to the arrow. Other wise it is top of the line water and to me it taste really juicy. The taste is also really refreshing! Love the owners especially the little Asian lady. Stopped going here because the owners son during the height of COVID refused to comply with any basic health policies like wearing a mask or cleaning his hands. I told him I knew a dozen people who had died at that point and that he should be careful for the sake of his mom who is a senior citizen. He responded with some combination of conspiracy theories and some of his own ignorant prejudices. Maybe that's popular with some of his customers since it's Huntington Beach and there are plenty of COVID deniers there but even though I had been going there regularly for years, I found a better place to go to where the water is just as good and they are polite and not preaching nonsense and conspiracy theories. read more

I come in expecting to use card, happy to pay for any fees they want to charge. I see on the register minimum $5.00 for cards. Lady tells me it'll be 0.50 cents extra. I agree. Then she tells me to go to CVS to get change to pay cash. I told her I'd agree to pay the total $2.00 for water. She wasn't having it. Later, I asked I'd pay for the premium alkaline water. It would come out to $10.00. Nope. Wasn't having it. Instead, she sits and starts reading some magazine. Side note: the outside machines rarely work and, of course, the card function doesn't work. Cash is king but if you say you'll accept card I expect you to honor that. Was already having a rough day, just got off work, and this definitely didn't help. I'm huge on customer service, especially for smaller businesses. Ashamed these kind of people are within our community treating their customers in this manner. read more

I've been coming here for about 4 years, weekly or bi weekly for our alkaline water. Sung is nice and helpful and so is his Mother. I appreciate the fact that Sung will walk with me to my car and help me load the water jugs into my car. My husband and I have been going to this water store for about a year now. Not only is the service friendly and consistent, but it is TOP KNOTCH! Sung and his mother, Sophia, goes above and beyond with their service. He fills our jugs for us and carries them out to my car. I frequent the water store about 3-4 times a week and it isn't ever a hassle. He makes it easy on us with our new baby! Our family is moving in a week and we are so so sad to go! QUALITY AND REASONABLE PRICES. We have been coming here for years and their water purification is TOP NOTCH. They really purify their water with quality techniques. I have a PPM and PH wands (used to measure stuff in water and gauge Ph). their reverse osmosis water is almost zero parts per million( last i tested myself it was at 2, Huntington Beach water is 235) and the PH was spot on accurate as they have 2 Ph options. The man owner attendant always helps with loading my bottles, I usually fill up.10 - 5 gallon jugs at a time, the woman attendant just sits there, not too friendly but thats probably due to language barrier and I don't expect her to help with loading bottles. I've been coming here since starting on alka water and was referred by a friend. there are several places closer to where I live, brookhurst/talbert. anyway, the son took quite a bit of time answering questions and doing the test. every time i/ we go in, he fills our bottles and rolls out to car and loads, even when my 6-2 son is there. the mom and son always friendly, at times, throws in extra. They have had numerous people who have stolen from their store, which is unfortunate why jerks do that, especially to mom/pop stores. read more

WATER IS GOOD, THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! I have used Alki water for 3 years, does wonders, This business water is good,however the service is disappointing, Ive bought 2 5Gallon bottles, one the neck was to long for my dispenser, when I brought it back San the owner told me its for caring water, not meant to fit all dispensers, then he gave me a phone number so i could call the MFG myself, the MFG no longer exist. Prior to that my pregnant wife and son went in to get bottles filled, he told her he can not always help her carry the water to the car, the 1 time she went in for me. There is another location on Beach I will be trying, its called Pure water and the customer service reviews look Great. As a business owner, I always Like to help others,especially customers. This kind of service makes me want to open a water business right next door to him, just to show him what happens when you help customers. read more

The customer service by the owner since his mom stopped working. I intended to do everything myself as usual but he went to the car with me. He then asked me to help him lift the bottles. I felt like he was rushing me but he was fearful that i wouldn't return his cart if i did it myself. He just lost a regular customer. I have been coming to this place for over 5 years now and I like the convenience and quality of the water but the customer service is another story . The owners mother is a nice lady but her son , the owner, needs a lesson in customer service . I went in there and filled my 5 gallon water bottle with regular ,not alkaline water . When I was done I went to pay , he accused me of getting the alkaline water which is much more expensive . I told him I did not get alkaline but he said he could've swore he saw me get alkaline . I asked him to check his cameras while I wait but he refused and told me not to come back to his store. This guy needs to not accuse his customers of thievery unless he has proof . I told him I have been going there for years and would have no reason to steal from him or anyone else for that matter . He answered by telling me he doesn't know me so he doesn't trust me . The water at this store is truly alkaline. It test as alkaline and it taste great. My health has improved drastically, as I don't get as many colds, viruses and sinus infections. In addition my body is now 75% alkaline. The store offers different levels of alkaline water. On one occasion the owner GAVE me a bottle of the highest level alkaline water when I had a virus. I drank a portion of the bottle and I felt 100% better within 10 minutes. I have also used the water for my skin for pimples, blackheads or blimishes and it cleared my problem areas quickly. Additionally, the store is very clean and the owners are always exceptionally kind, helpful, educational and knowledgeable. I have truly discovered the fountain of youth. Excellent water store, the man that works there is super knowledgeable and demonstrated that the water has a PH of 9.5. Many stores are not honest about that but this is one that you can trust. They also have a discount card and the water is available after hours via a machine that excepts cash or credit card outside. Great store. Great product. read more

2 1/2 years ago, I started service with Alka Pi Water. They were very helpful. The owner's husband installed the system and for 2 years everything was great. I opted to pay off my system and now I own it outright. I went in to the store recently and purchased replacement filters and the owner's son told me it's so simple to replace the filters that I could do it myself. I have no idea how to change out the filters and hook everything up properly so he said his dad could come and show me how to do it. He came out as promised, but I was occupied with business calls so I was unable to watch over him during the filter replacement; however, as he was the one who installed the system 2 years before I felt comfortable that he knew what he was doing. Unfortunately, the filters have leaked and, even though I frequently open my cabinet, I didn't see the water (it was completely clear). This slow leak has caused damage to my kitchen cabinets. When I discovered the problem and called Alka Pi, the husband came out to review the situation and try to correct the leak. It is still leaking. I've asked them to come out and correct the filters so they are not leaking, but they refuse, saying I need to call a "technician" and pay the service fee. I have not asked them to pay for the damage to my cabinets--I've only asked that they correct the filter cannisters so they are not leaking!! At the very least this is extremely poor customer service and, ultimately, very bad business policy. This is what can happen if your water filter is improperly installed. read more

This place is new and clean. It boasts two kinds of water, Standard filter and water and one that's more alkaline based. The shop is neat and clean and has lots of holistic smells and crystals and such. The staff is friendly enough however one day I stepped in 7:01 PM with customers in the shop... Yes one minute after they were to close... And I was asked to leave and that they were closed. For a new business trying to make its way I felt that my value as a customer was completely discarded as I walked out without getting my water. Although they seem to employ a customer service model where they fill the water for you, it certainly is countered by being told to go away one minute after they closed while their staff still in there assisting one other person. I'm not sure if this class will stick around very long... Never has much business and when you're one minute late they turn you away. Good thing there are other water stores in the area. read more

Ive been going to this aka pi store for alkaline water for 3 years now. Its the best store out of all of them. Just great. The water ALWAYS tests high at my home weeks later at 9.0, but other alkaline stores (other than aka pi) do not. They go down to regular tap water. Its the best water by far. I love this water, and this store. Been to other Alka Pi's and well, not so friendly, but they do have the good water. 5 stars to this water store for alkaline water, and of course the regular filtered water is excellent as well. read more
