I heard of this company from Bobby at FlavCity. Since he recommended them, I knew they are top notch. I called on a Sunday fully expecting them not to answer and the owner, Darlene, answered. By the way... her Massachusetts accent is pretty amazing! :) - She patiently spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me explaining how they are American made, where they source their minerals from, why the minerals are better there. She explained how some future customers tried to first go with a cheaper "Amazon" purchase but when that failed... they came back to them. She has been in business 17yrs, which is important if you are going to need replacement filters or have any questions. They aren't the cheapest I've found but they are one of the only ones that answer the phone and know the answers to my questions(I'm a very skeptical person who likes to do my homework). My hair has been falling out so much since I moved to Southern California (from Northern California). Every day that I showered, about a peppermint patty size of hair would fall out. This was pretty alarming. I highly suspected it was the water. So I bought a water filter for my shower and it helped a bit. I also bought special shampoo to stop the fall out. But then I read that fluoride in drinking water may be causing my hair to fall out. My Brita filter was not filtering out fluoride. I also got a little water quality testing device to measure the Brita water versus tap water. And there was no quality increase with the Brita water (!). So I decided to only drink water from the Better Water place (I got the oxygenated alkaline water) and see what happens. Result: within just a couple of days, about a coin size amount of hair fell out. I would liken it to the size of a quarter (25 cents). This is a huge improvement! Darlene is a gem and from the beginning she broke down the options of water they supply to suit your needs. I appreciated the prompt deliveries I received. How carefully placed the 5 gallon bottles were left at the property. I appreciate their cancellation policy seeing your agreement with them is not contracted for X amount of time. It makes it convenient for you the customer to cancel at any time.
