I would say that a small child could have painted my house better than they did. It took three…read moremonths of them barely showing up to finish. He kept making excuses that it took three months because I lived far away (an hour) or that I've added work (painting my back porch that's about 4ft by 6ft). He also kept asking for more money through out the job because of some clause that states he can ask for more payment based on percentage of the work done. This lead to me not owing much toward the end and not having anything to withhold from him to get him to do the job. I was swindled. You can see by the photos I uploaded that the work is horrid for a 18.5-20k paint job. It would be horrid for a 5k paint job too. I've tried contacting him to get him to come back because he painted over rotted wood that he was supposed to fix and because of the bad paint job but he keeps putting me off and or not responding- he's always been a bad communicator. If he'd come fix my house I'd give a better rating and remove this one but at this point my house looks like 6 year old painted it unless you're standing thirty feet away. I'd advise that you either go with someone else or hire some one off the streets with zero skill on the cheap - you'd probably get the same results or better and would save several thousand dollars. The photos added aren't one off mistakes. My house looks like that all over. -Paint smudges on other colors -Paint drips - pink drips on white etc -Paint coats too thin -Paint splatters on antique front and back door. -Paint on screen door and screens of windows -Paint splatters on foundation -A gallon of paint found covered by mulch (is that why I had to buy so much extra paint???) -Paint on my roof from spills -Wood areas that were supposed to be fixed that weren't (wouldn't hold this against him if he didn't claim that he'd fix it any wood rot before painting. -Paint drips on light fixtures -Paint spills on decorative rocks and grass (dead grass looking photo is caused by the paint spill) -Paint already cracking in spots due to not removing sagging caulk -Panted over wood rot instead of replacing the wood. Asked that all wood that needed replaced be replaced. -didn't screw all of my down spouts back to the house. -You're supposed to paint over clean surfaces but I have a hard time believing the surface was clean three months after pressure washing. I could go on but I'm sure you all get the point. P.S he texted my personal phone at 11:30 at night after I left my review under his new appearances painting name that he also operates under telling me he won't come fix my house because I left a bad review and said his contract doesn't protect me from poor workmanship anyway (big red flag!). He also said I wasn't patient enough and he was too busy to respond to me - he responded within minutes to my review though with a wall of text so I guess how busy he is is circumstantial. He also justified his workmanship by trying to guilt me since he installed a kiln vent for me for free. I did appreciate this but I didn't ask him to do it for free nor does this negate the poor paint work. He did this to try to tide me over since the paint was taking three months. They are two separate things and one does not justify bad work. I think I paid enough to get better paint results. He also complained that I didn't write a bad review for the roofer he recommended that didn't do a good job - one of his workers fixed some of the poor roof work. I didn't do that because I couldn't find his business name online. Don't have a Justin Kellum do your roofing.... man I need to get better at picking contractors lol. He feels one should remove a bad review BEFORE he fixes the work. That seems backwards to me. He stands by his claim that he did good work but you all can be the judge of that. I'd like for him to fix his work but I doubt that'll ever happen. I'll probably have to talk to a lawyer to see if failing to meet scope of work qualifies as breaking the contract since Michael says my contract doesn't protect me. Probably just screwed

I've contacted approximately 10 companies to provide an estimate for a porch/deck project at my…read morerental property. All Decked Out was the only one that required front end homework (beyond what was already available in a web form) -and- charged a "consultation fee" of $100. I hate these fees in every capacity working with contractors, but I can't recall this ever being present outside of plumbers and electricians. I didn't proceed to set-up the consultation because their reviews online and competitive estimate should provide enough knowledge to their potential customer vs. instead of pinning them into working with them because of the thought of, "Well, we've already paid $100 towards working with this company..."

If you're looking for a company to build your deck, pavilion, screened-in room, gazebo...I strongly…read morerecommend All Decked Out. All Decked Out (ADO) replaced our old deck with a beautiful new deck and screened-in room in less than a month, and we're delighted with the results. As advertised, they used high-quality, low-maintenance materials (e.g., Deckorators decking and Woodtone®Tongue & Groove ceiling panels), and the workmanship was excellent. Other things we liked about ADO: * Their photo gallery shows actual photos from projects they completed, instead of a gallery full of stock photos [GOOGLE image search is your friend]. They also have photos of projects they're working on and videos on their Instagram pages (AllDeckedOut513 and AllDeckedOut513.Day2Day). * ADO's website clearly explained their process and what clients can expect after contacting them [See "Start Here"https://alldeckedout513.com/our-process/] * We liked the fact that ADO handles both design and construction. * ADO uses the Builder Trend app, which made communicating with the office and project leaders, invoicing and payments super easy and convenient. The project builder keeps a daily log on the app. If we have any questions post-completion, we can message them via the app. * They have a 3yr builder's warranty. * Everyone was so nice and so patient...Jennifer(admin), Joe & Jessica (the owners), Jeff (project leader), and John & Taylor (our builder and his helper). A big thanks to All Decked Out for bringing our vision to life.
