My husband and I have used Brooks Flooring for some of the work we have had done in our home. The first job was great! They installed new carpet in our bedroom and the carpet was laid the way it should have been. The next jobs started going downhill. The last job they did was laminate flooring in the living room, hall and the 2 landi on the stairs leading to the family room. The job was really botched. They were here once to correct some mistakes but I have called them twice to come to the house to look at other mistakes I found. The owner has not called me back and it has been 3+ weeks. We always try to give our business to locals but I am beginning to rethink that decision. read more

lets just say if you want these guys to do your flooring, expect it to be fast and crappy. these guys aren't pros, I had a wall torn out and instead of putting sub flooring where the previous 2 by 4's were, they put nothing. so now I have a huge crack in about 15 different boards all the way through my flooring. Brooks just installed a fabulous granite countertop in our kitchen. They're a family business and their prices better than or equal to anyone in the area. And they have a great granite selection to choose from in their stockyard. They can also get most whatever you want from their suppliers. The crew was great and perfectly installed in no time. I guess the end result is what counts and the Quartz Counter Tops and Bathroom Vanity tops look terrific. Really highlights the kitchen. Some minor labor pains in getting to the finish but all's well that ends well. Pricing was very competitive. Would recommend. read more

Bill and Susie Brooks have to be the least reliable people I've ever had the misfortune of doing business with! I prefer supporting local businesses when possible, and that was the reason I chose to do business with the Brooks', in the first place. However, you just can't depend on them to do what they promise to do. They seem to be somewhat notorious for missing appointments, and being difficult to get in touch with. On top of that, Brooks Flooring is not all that competitive in their pricing. Bill, Susie, and their customers would be imminently better off if they hired a dedicated professional to run their business. Frankly, I fail to understand how a company with so little regard for its customers manages to stay in business! Know this: regardless of any promises they make to you, there's a 90% chance they won't be kept. I like Bill and Susie, but future customers should know what to expect when doing business with them. read more

We have a sink underneath a vanity in our bath that is cracked. I called and was told that someone would call me back that day. Didn't happen. Several days later, my wife received a call from them and they basically hemmed and hawed and pretty much told us they did not want our business. Wow. You list this as part of what you do so please change your website. And, I don't like being completely lied to. Thanks. read more

Awful customer service and installation. Our under-mount kitchen sink fell down three years after initial installation. They accused me of standing in the sink instead of apologizing for their faulty install. On top of that they charged me for re-installation, but did not bother to fix the plumbing which was obviously crushed from the sink falling down. I would not recommend this company. read more

Brooks has completed several projects for us at our home, Kitchen Granite Counter tops, several rooms of carpeting, and we will use them soon for tile in a bathroom. We are return customers for a third time plus have family members using them, so that makes five projects total. read more

They are lucky to get 2 stars. The only reason they did is because the sub contractor they used did a good job on the tiling. There was a small area that needed touch up which they did after the initial job. It ended to drying a different color which meant more touch up. After another 3 months of emailing & calling I finally found someone on my own to fix it. Their customer service is terrible! No communication and they ignore you. The owner even came out to look at the problem and agreed to fix it. We set up a time and he didn't show up and continued to ignore my calls. If you plan to use them be prepared for bad customer service. It's not uncommon to need touch up after the tile dries. I recommend getting the number of the sub contractor and call them direct in case you need them in the future. read more

My experience is that people that perform and price themselves competitively are extremely busy. Brooks is no exception. I am in the trades and won't do business with anybody else besides Bill Brooks. They just completed a large tile job and fabricated the carrara marble vanities for my personal bath remodel...and I'm a very picky about the work I pay for. About Bill, First...he cares, second he understands the value of a dollar and treats people like he wants to be treated, third...he champions local charities and gives back to the community. If you want to spend your money with someone who truly appreciates the business, gives back and won't fleece you...then Bill is the guy. You'll wait for a quote so be patient...he's busy and sharpens his pencil... but at least he comes out and shows up for an appointment and when you get the price its competitive and the work will be done right. read more

Communication is poor after they say they can do it, they don't make deadlines. I can see the seam in the carpet, down the middle of the room. Carpet on steps is not attached and keeps popping up. We had bugs in the one room they carpeted and only that room. (A 350.00 extermination bill )Beware not a respectable or ethical company. read more
