This company has an owner who appears to be kind sincere and a legit business owner. In reality he's the complete opposite. The only thing you will receive is a lower cost for his services, without any accountability of their services. You will need to have someone at your residence to in sure the work is being performed. If you don't have eyes on the work you will probably regret it. The service that was performed was a gutter cleaning. I had to instruct the workers on how to place their ladders on the roof, to keep them from damaging the structure. I Didn't receive a work order or receipt for completion of the work , after requesting one. And once the work appears to be completed, the owner fails to respond to any issues going forward. read more

This company mistakenly went on my roof without permission to replace a vent boot (they were supposed to go on my neighbor's roof). When I discovered some time later that they had damaged the roof vent causing my furnace to not run (water building up in the vent) and they had damaged the boot, I contacted them. They refused to take any responsibility for having gone on my roof without permission and damaging my furnace vent and boot. I incurred about $600 in costs to fix my furnace vent and boot to make my furnace run properly and ensure my roof was not leaking as a result of their actions. I would strongly recommend not working with this company and would be careful if I see them around to make sure they don't mistakenly go on your roof and damage something. read more

I have used AAG for gutter cleaning in the past but this time asked them to powerwash the roof and deck. After completing the work, which took 1.5 hrs, the roof still showed black streaks and the deck had dark areas remaining. I was told that the areas would lighten with time, but after a week I asked them to come out again as I was not happy with the results . After a missed appointment, they came back and retreated the roof and deck. I was happy they came back, but service could have been better. read more

They never even went to two sides of the house. I complained and asked for my money back and they sent the crew back out again. This time they spent 6 more minutes to go to one small part of the gutters on the back deck and "blew" leaves and left again. Never even looking at the left side of the house. They are standing by their "work". I have video to prove that they didn't do crap for $109!! I don't mind paying for a job to be done, but this is ridiculous! read more

I asked a question about the 20% discount from his flyer only because it wasn't identified on my receipt and he literally accused me of trying to cheat his workers. Had the receipt showed that the discount had been applied like it did for the Military discount he added, there would've been no need to ask the question. To assume someone unfamiliar with your billing practice is trying to cheat you, is disrespectful and rude at it best. It's like following people in a store while their trying to figure out what to buy. They'd never come back. I'm curious as to who and why anyone would ever want to reuse this company for business. By far the worst company I've ever dealt with. After clearly asking them if they used bleach, they stated that they do not. After the job was finished, I noticed that they ruined/faded my wooden door and my wooden overhang to my garage and porch. In addition, they ruined bonze door knob. Overall this was about $2K in damages. I notified the owner and he shared that they'll come out to resolve the issue. This never happened and they stopped returning phone calls, texts and emails. They do not have a traceable address for legal action, so I was not able to recoup my loss. In addition, they left several stains on the house. The owner was extremely rude and did not care to resolve the major problem that they caused. Please avoid using this company at at all cost. Avoid at all costs! We have used them for gutter cleaning and power washing. The gutter cleaning is a quick 5-10 minute leaf blowing of the obvious leaves. Which, for the price, is fine. But don't get your hopes up for a thorough cleaning. The power washing was terrible. Left all of our windows with terrible streaks, to the point we had to get the windows cleaned because of the power wash. They were fine before the power wash. But our biggest issue is that they never finished the power washing job. We paid to have our front pathway power washed and they didn't do it. After three written promises to return to finish the job, they still have not. We have tried mediation through the Better Business Bureau but the company did not respond to repeated attempts. I used this company for a couple of years and like other comments they always reported roofing issues in spots that were impossible to see and there was always some type of nonsense gutter repair that needed to be done. I decided to check one of these so called repairs, the fix was simply driving a screw through the bracket. 5 minute fix, .20 cent screw. They asked $175 for the repair. First they didn't call me when they were on the way, second I arrived 10 minutes later, after they supposedly started the work, on my approval per phone. ( I wanted to be there to watch as I have had issues with other gutter cleaners in the past) They were already finished and sitting in the truck. I found the debris that was blown out of my gutters all over my freshly mulched beds...no clean up, except on my request and then not a very good job. Technician (I use that word lightly) then told me I should have told them on the phone I wanted the debris bagged and trashed. Really? I want them cleaned, why wouldn't that entail throwing the stuff away? Technician then told me they blow out the down spouts and drop a rock or penny through to make sure it's clear. Ok. Told me two were clogged and now they are clean. Later that night it rained and it was quite obvious that two of my downspouts were clogged. One of them being one that technician told me was clogged and cleared. I texted and emailed the company. I got a quick response by text that they would come back out. I requested a call when they would be on the way. Still nothing. I cleared one downspout with help from a friend, since more rain was on the way. You need to test or clear with a hose. A blower would obviously just push the clog further and if improperly tested won't know. Still waiting for call so they can get on the higher roof to clear the remaining downspout. Hard to recommend this company per my experience. We will see if I need to adjust this if they call and come to clear the down spout. read more

I would have to agree with all the other reviews posted. We had used them in the past with good results. We agreed for them to come wash out house and they sent a subcontractor. The sub then shot water all into our attic which proceeded to come through our ceiling. AAG wanted to send the same sub to fix it which I was not agreeable to do. Do not hire this company. they deserve a zero rating. We used AAG a few years ago and were satisfied with the results. We called them back (Sept 2022) to address three trouble spots with our gutters.. a front gutter was overflowing, a side gutter would not handle a heavy rain, and a rear gutter was overflowing at one end. AAG tweaked the front and replaced the side and rear gutter. During the process they failed to appear when scheduled for two days, mismeasured the rear gutter and pressed us for partial payment while the job was underway..Shortly after completion and payment a brief rain storm revealed that they did substandard work. The overflow problems in the front and rear were worse; parts of the gutter were not screwed together and bottom parts fell off; the downspouts were put together backwards and all joints leaked; and nothing was sealed. Multiple calls and detailed emails with pictures have fallen on deaf ears...we will now need to hire another company to fix these problems. read more

We've been using AAG to clean our gutters ever since moving to Richmond and every time we are very pleased with the crew! Our tall, three story home doesn't even phase them and they even blow off any debris they find tuck into the many crevices of our roof lines while they are up there. They work fast and always inform us of any repairs they see needing work. The crew is friendly and efficient, prices are fair and reasonable, and I think my favorite part is the fact that they blow our pathways and any surface that gets messy during their visit. Scam artists in my opinion. Two years in a row during routine gutter cleaning they found roofing "problems" that were too high to see, risked "snow damage or animal access", and yet were easily fixable for $125 with a couple hammer strikes. When questioned about the second time, they backpedaled clumsily and said they had a miscommunication and it wasn't actually necessary. They're nice enough and do an ok job with gutters, but dishonest vendors like them will never set foot on my property again. read more

I have owned 3 homes over the last 23 years, none of which have had gutter guards. This was the WORST gutter cleaning job I've ever had. The mess they left behind for me to clean up was astonishing. Because they used a high powered blower to blow the gutters, the soggy mess was strewn about below everywhere. I had to have my car washed (which was about 20 feet from the gutters), scrub every single rail of my deck (even the railings and slats that parts that are 15 feet out from the back of the house), and will either have to have my house pressure washed or will have to hand wash areas of my siding that I can reach. Even the French doors on my COVERED patio UNDERNEATH my sunroom with the nearest gutters 3 stories up had to be wiped down and windexed. read more

When a company repeats the same mistake, it is difficult to recommend them. The service rendered in 2014 was without incident. The service in 2015 had problems. I have white brick. The crew came out shortly after it had rained. They use ladders, get on the roof and use leaf blowers to blow debris and leaves out of the gutters. My home has white brick and some areas of the house have gutters that hit the front of the house (think large, one story bay windows on a two story house). Some of the trees in the area shed small debris that accumulates in the bottom of the gutter and is pitch black when wet. The crew blew the gutters toward the house instead of away. This resulted in black stains in multiple areas of the brick with black drip marks down the white brick of my house. I called and they promptly came back and hosed down the areas clean before it dried on the brick. When Jennifer called in 2016, we tentatively scheduled for a day in November. They missed that appointment and called to reschedule. It rained shortly before the rescheduled date. I called to remind them of what happened the prior year with wet debris and I asked them to push the date back a week. They missed the second appointment too. During the confirmation call for their third attempt, I cautioned that the gutters still may have some wet debris and I again emphasized that they blow the gutters away from the house. "No problem" from Jennifer. "I'll make sure I tell the crew". The appointment window for their 3rd appointment was 10am - 2pm. I left my house at 2pm to get lunch up the street since the crew never came. I got a call at 2:10pm that the crew had arrived and would complete the service. I arrived home at about 3pm and the same thing happened: large areas of black debris and stains on the front of my house in several areas. I called and it went to voicemail and I left a message. I also texted the number twice since I knew it was a cell phone. No response. Since I didn't want the black stains to dry and the front of my home looked, well...bad, I hosed off the house myself. During the time I was cleaning the brick, they called and left a message. When I retrieved the message, there was no acknowledgement of my issue. Instead, Jennifer expected payment by 8pm by credit card via telephone (despite the fact that they left a paper invoice) that day. I noted that there was an upcharge to use use a credit card on the invoice too. I sent them payment via the mail. I have never heard of a company that requires payment by 8pm on the date of service via credit card when they leave an invoice with instructions for payment. I sent an email with pictures of some of the stains to the manager. Instead of the manager contacting me or emailing me back, Jennifer left several messages about how they probably lost money on my service because my house was bigger, they never got my message about the issue, I should just deal with the stains, yada yada yada. Well I didn't set the price and I also received assurances that they would do it right. Furthermore, I know I left a message. I tried to be as factual as possible with this review. They missed 2 appointments, they were late for the 3rd, they made false promises about telling the crew to blow debris away from the house and were not responsive to my issue. I will not be using this company again. You can make your own decisions. read more

Warning - I absolutely would not recommend AAG. Not only was scheduling a disaster, they did a terrible job installing larger downspouts on our home. They told me that someone that specializes in installing downspouts would come fix their shoddy job by today. No one showed up and I never got a response from the owners. I called and texted multiple times. They left holes in both the downspouts and pillars and the elbows are leaking in several places. They made it clear that they warranty all of their work and take pride in a job well done. Neither of which are true. read more

They always show on time, complete the job for a very fair price and clean up any mess. On June 12, 2017 I spoke with Donnie with the company, "All About Gutters (AAG)." I shared with Donnie that my house had gutter helmets and that he would need to flip the helmets up in order to clean out the gutter run. I told him that since I had gutter helmets there would be minimal leaves in the gutters themselves. The primary problem would be clearing the downspout hole on the gutter runs. He indicated that would be no problem for the technicians. This gutter service uses a high-powered gas blower method to clean debris from the roof and the gutters. During the call Donnie used software that allowed him to visualize my house. To clean my gutters it would cost $140. The good news was that he would be able to do the job the following day on June 13, 2017. I was asked to just place the check under the front door mat. The AAG receipt left at my house states the, "customer has gutter helmets, wants to make sure they are clean but concerned about downspouts due to poor drainage." My wife was home at the time Blake, Aidn, and José arrived at my house to do the job. When she heard the sound of the blower on the roof she ran outside but was too late to see them at work. She estimates it took about 10 minutes for them to complete the job. She asked them directly were they able to lift the gutter helmet and clear the downspout hole. They told her for $140 they would not lift the gutter helmet but used a high powered blower to clear all the gutters. The technicians told my wife that for an additional $150 they would seal the PVC piping that serves to ventilate the toilets of the house. My wife call me on the phone to get my opinion and I declined that extra service. I question whether sealing/gluing those pipes was even necessary, but I did not get up on the roof to actually verify this. That evening we had a significant thunderstorm. Unfortunately, several of the gutters continued to overflow due to presumed clogged downspout holes. I left a message that night on the AAG voicemail indicating I was disappointed that the gutters did not appear to be cleaned. After several days, Jennifer, got back to me and wanted to know specifically which gutter runs were still clogged. Six days later on June 19, 2017 Brett, Blake, and Manuel returned. In the service call activity report it states, "customer states that after gutter cleaning last week there are numerous areas that are still overflowing when it rains. He will use a hose this weekend to determine specifically which areas and let me know so that the guys know what to look for when they come back on Monday for service call." I called AAG Monday morning but the employees had already finished the work at my house and left. I asked Jennifer what did the guys do when they came to my house on June 19, 2017. She told me she would get back to me after she spoke with the technicians, but never did A subsequent thunderstorm revealed that one gutter run was still clogged. Brett, Aiden and José returned to my house on June 30, 2017, which is the last day of the "14 day warranty period." They did clear the clogged gutter down spout hole, but with a subsequent thunderstorm I found 2 other gutter runs still remained clogged. One was on the lower level of the house. I was tired of the calls to the AAG, so I got a ladder out and cleaned the downspout hole myself with a snake. I guess I will just have to accept that one of the upper gutter runs is still clogged. Unfortunately, AAG are not conscientious. While the high-powered gas blower method may work well with a typical gutter system, it was not effective for my house. There was no attempt on the part of AAG to modify their gutter cleaning method despite me telling them right from the beginning that my house would require them to clean the gutter down spout holes. In closing, I cannot recommend to you All About Gutters. read more

A crew came out today and repaired some aluminum fascia that came loose in the wind. They showed up when promised, did a great job for a good price and were very professional. This is sad. I used Tim and All about gutters twice a year for the past 7+ years and was completely satisfied. He and his crew were prompt and always followed up after the service was done. They were here on May 19th for my spring cleaning. Well, they didn't do the job well. My front gutteres were overflowing 2 days later. Have called numerous times and was assured they would be there to take care of it IF AND WHEN I GOT A RETURN CALL. Now can't even get a return call from them.. Tried e-mail, got a response from Jennifer (whom I have been dealing with for all these years) saying she is sorry and they would be out there in two days to fix the problem. Well, its been 4 days and now they don't respond to the emails either. Guess the parties over. It's a shame, I recommended AAG to all the people in the subdivision. They never returned my call until I started posting on FB and sending messages. They didn't come back until early May! After being told they'd be back several different times with no updates. I always had to initiate the conversation. Heard the group of four guys talking about how to get out of doing the job from outside my window. They didn't have the materials needed for the job, one guy was extremely rude and they didn't even finish! Had to pay someone else to finish and fix their mistakes. Come to find out they used wood for interior use only for my outdoor job!! So I had to pay someone to literally deconstruct what was done and redo it all.
