This review is solely based on the schools out camps over holiday break. I signed my child up for camp and we were very excited about the program so I even shared with two other parents - who in turn signed each signed their children up. One child was 6, while mine was 5, but I called ahead and spoke with a kind lady who just returned from maternity leave, she confirmed the 6 yr old could join my kids 5 yr old class. Here's why it was so important that the 6 yr old join the 5 yr old class, this child medically can not get in any public pools, and the 4 and 5 yr olds do not have pool time so this worked out wonderfully. At the first day of camp, we again reminded them about the situation. Howecer, they didn't listen and had the child in the 6 yr old class, the child was terribly upset when the entire class got to swim. This all could have been avoided if they listen to our communication. My child did have a good time running around all day, but the point is that the breakdown of communication is scary and untrustworthy when dealing with a medical child. read more

I've had good experiences with all the kids with all my children. My oldest when she was little she did swimming classes and lessons there and they taught her how to do different types of swimming. My youngest is now in Gymnastics with them. We've had a good experience with the teacher in the facility as well. I do enjoy coming here and I do recommend it. read more

Making the decision to bring my daughter to this facility was the greatest decision I ever made. The coaching staff promote and prioritize a healthy environment for all the athletes in both a physical and mental capacity. Our kids are happy and comfortable and gaining confidence in their abilities at All About Kids which is 100% the goal, and the added bonus is learning all kinds of new skills. They have taken gymnastics, dance, and swim lessons over different ages and have always wanted to keep coming back. Our favorite is the summer Camp-a-Bunga - I don't know what we'd do without it. The hours are perfect and we can add on days a-la-carte without having to book a whole week which is really important for my crazy work schedule. 10/10 recommend! read more

We had a great experience for our son's 5th birthday, trying Camp an Bunga, the kids night out, and are really enjoying the private swim lessons there! My son couldn't seem to get the hang of swimming two summers in a row in small group classes at another facility and he has quickly learned to swim without a life jacket for short distances within just over a month! All about kids is a very safe and clean facility. The coaching staff at Champion Gymnastics always goes above and beyond for their athletes. The slumber parties are so much fun and are at a very reasonable price. The All About Kids Summer Camp (Camp-A-Bunga) keeps kids engaged by offering themed weeks for staff and campers. Also, they offer a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. AAK has been so amazing with my 1 and 3 year old children teaching them how to swim! I honestly can't wait to start signing them up for other classes they offer! I started coming here about 2 years ago, when I used to bring my niece. Now, she's in school, so I've started bringing my son (17 months). We have only come for the open play and open gym. We've never taken any classes or anything, so I can't speak to that, but they have both seemed to enjoy the open gym and toddler play time. The facility is clean and they seem fairly well entertained for the price. I like that it goes from 10-2 (with the open gym part being open 12-1), as it gives us a bigger window of time to play! There are numerous trampolines, slides, foam pits, and bounce houses in the open gym part. My friend's kids really like doing the trapeze! I do wish that parents were allowed on some of the equipment with the kids, and I wish that there was just a little bit more for younger toddlers to do...but, all in all I recommend this place for running down a toddlers batteries! read more

Fun place to take the kiddos to burn some energy every week for classes but not so much on the learning side. Daughter took Gymnastics classes and was more playtime than Learn time. Class always seemed to end early too . They do have bouncy houses if you wanna play before class or after but will cost you around $8 as it is not included. You can also just come for open gym time which is alot of fun. They have tramplonies, foam pits, bouncys and climb through jungle gym for the smaller kids and a pool w/slide but that also is extra and set times. read more

We have been taking both of our children here for swim lessons since they were babies and they are now 3 and 5. This place was fabulous when we started. Then the director quit and everything quickly went downhill. Finally, they have a good director again and classes have improved and I feel like there is real learning again and not like we are just going to play in the water once a week. However, I have still had issues like my child's classes being cancelled at the last minute due to "accidents" in the pool and still having to pay for services we did not receive. I know they can't control the accidents, but they can control their policy when they happen. Right now the policy is you can schedule a make-up class, but that does not help when you can only come the one night of the week. And then tonight, I was told we have to be out of the locker rooms by 8:10. My daughter's class ends at 8:00. I believe we should have at least 20-30 minutes after class to change. She is entitled to shower, change, and dry her hair after swimming. I feel this is completely ridiculous!! I should mention that there is only 1 shower for everyone to use. And these are young kids. Has anyone else ever tried to get a 5 year old to hurry?? When I suggested to the swim director that we should get at least 20-30 minutes after class she told me that is too long. I may soon be taking my 5 years of business elsewhere if they don't value me and my family as customers. Their customer service here stinks. They seem to have forgotten what it means to keep paying customers happy. Just read their responses to the reviews - defensive and uncaring. read more

It's my family's first time here. We dropped our oldest off for Derby Day Camp. In a word: AWESOME! This place is so clean and organized, and the staff is so friendly and caring, that I'm thrilled to leave my daughter here for a fun-filled day! The staff called us with updates, and to get a question answered. I have to say, I'm so happy to have found this awesome establishment, and I look forward to enrolling both our girls in dance, gym, and swim classes soon! read more

Bad for summer camps, specially for younger kids. My son is 4.5 yrs and started camp at blackenbaker location. The camp is all over the place. They had swimming class for under 6 where they will have assisted swimming. They hardly assisted, most of the camp counselors are high school kids doing summer job, not at all trained for younger or under 6 kids. If your kid is older, they are by their own. The weekly charge is more than daycare but very badly mismanaged. All kids are served lunch at the same time and no special attention given to younger kids. I have my son their for two weeks, he was hungry and of course will get cranky till 4:30 pm. I wish they have some experienced teachers or older teachers specially for younger kids rather than having high school kids, specially for the price they are charging. Will not recommend this place for summer camp!! read more

RUDE STAFF. We've been here all of 10 minutes for a party and the staff was completely rude. I went down and called my child over to the door way to help fix her clothes and the workers screamed to get out unless you have a wristband. Both of my boys are in the after-school program at AAK and they love it. They were also there for the summer day-camps and we haven't had a single complaint. In a perfect world, it would be less expensive, but we've never once had a concern about the safety or security of our kiddos while they're there. They've also taken swim and gymnastics classes, in previous years, and I can say that we never had any complaints with any of those. Unlike the staff at the YMCA-run after-school program (at the boys' school) all of the staff at AAK appear to actually LIKE working with the kids, and my boys like them, as well. read more

Their staff lied to me not once but twice about information on the bill made this birthday party 3weeks ago and they wait 4 days before my baby's birthday to tell me some bs about the bill I had to cancel not only because the bill issue but the lady on the phone was being really rude with me while I was trying to explain what I was told I would not recommend this place for a party read more

I have been bringing my grandchildren here for over 4 years. They have been in the competitive T&T team. We never felt welcome at the gym. Our kids had to wait to use equipment which is used only for tumbling and trampoline, while the gymnasts used the equipment. The gymnastic coaches are rude and would yell at our kids if they make the mistake of walking into a gymnasts way but they could do that to our kids all the time. Now with this stupid lawsuit only the kids are being hurt. We will never return to AAK again. They never had a problem taking our fees which are quite expensive. I'm finished with this place. I'm sure we will find a place which places kids first. read more

When faced with the decision of how to handle the pandemic, All About Kids decided to wait until 20 minutes after billing for the next month before announcing that they'd close the facility. They claim that their policy exempts them from having to refund a payment already charged and will only issue a credit. Even though the policy most certainly doesn't cover situation where they completely shut down. It only addresses classes that are canceled due to weather. Very unethical to treat customers this way during a trying time for us all. read more
