It was -1 degrees the other day, so frantically i found rescue groups in Michigan and I started calling to advocate for them. The lady that answered the phone was nice and resourceful. He would need to send the inquiry via online and get them to Adopt-a-Pet, but that never happened because he said the mom moved them the next day. I'm a bit upset because it's evident that the mom should be fixed, but it could be that no one in his neighborhood is aware of the practice. Even though this place wasn't able to help, but they were very helpful and sincere. I hope that the little family is safe from bad people, wildlife, cars, and the rigid weather. While I have 2 cat condos and 2 heated beds for the stray cats that I help feed (all fixed), I can't help but think about the others who aren't so lucky.

But that is the problem. They seem far more interested in the wellness of the pet than they do the communication with the adopter. Extremely unprofessional, zero people skills. It felt more like I was taking their personal pet from them and they begrudgingly accepted it. Again, I love animals, I love that they love animals, but I think they are extremely off-putting, socially. It's all about "No" at Adopt-A-Pet. Every communication feels unapologetically skeptical and disappointing from the staff. They don't hold animals. They don't hold animals. They will not hold your animal. They don't hold animals. I'm telling you this because they will not hold your animal. Get ready to be met with that information in every correspondence. They are simply not interested in being amicable, helpful, cooperative, engaging, informative, or willing to work with you or compromise on anything. So, if you are a perfect candidate, you don't have questions, and you don't mind dealing with socially inept people, go check it out. They have like, 5 animals there in total? Just remember, by adopting one of their pets, you might be stealing one of their only friends.

Jessicah's French Bulldogs Is the breeder that you want to deal with for a French bulldog puppy…read more Jessicah puts her heart in soul into these puppies. Every single litter is bred with intention to have health, beauty, and well-raised puppies. I have raised Labrador retrievers for over 35 years, and I know what it takes to have quality puppies. When I was looking for a French bulldog I was referred to Jessicah over 7 years ago. Once I spoke with her, and then met her in person, I knew I found my breeder. The dog I purchased from Jessicah has been healthy, well adjusted, and a perfect addition to our family. I don't think anybody knows the time, tears, and effort it takes to raise a healthy well adjusted litter. And then the job of picking the right owners to take on your babies is a monumental feat. In every business, there are those people you should see coming. The ones who don't have good intentions, but fool even the best of us. Unfortunately someone has purchased one of Jessicah's puppies that has ill intent towards her. They have left a review on this site and on many others. Jessicah has had he very best of reviews on all of her social media platforms. I am writing this review to let everyone know that if they are looking for a quality French bulldog puppy, you have found the right place. I don't want one bad apple who likes to write bad reviews on many different things ruin what she has worked so hard to achieve.

I come out and again just attitude like it's my fault she has to work. The girl brining the cats in to us was so sweet and kind. We finally decided on a little boy who we thought we be a perfect fit for our family. I go tell this girl I want to start the process and right off the bat it was like I was on trial. She acted like I was incapable of taking care of him... and the reason why! Because I couldn't prove I give my dogs heartworm medicine at home. No matter what proof I tried showing I was met with attitude and before she'd even look at it say "no that won't work" she completely ruined the day for us. I was so excited to adopt another fur baby and I left there feeling like I was a bad pet mom (if you knew me you'd know my pets are EVERYTHING to me) we decided to go through a different place. And never had to show ANY proof of heart worm medication. I feel bad for the animals because they might be missing out on their forever home all because this woman is miserable. She needs to be fired! She acted like I was unfit but in reality she's unfit to be working there.

Had recently lost family dog at 13, also from shelter. Moved out on my own, had to have my own dog. Searched shelter each day at lunch-hour for 3 weeks, then found "the one" 12 wk old Collie/Chow mix pup. Woman there seemed to have found him too at same time! We had kind exchange of words before I GRABBED him and claimed him as MINE. Rest is history. Blessed by the best dog I remember to this day. For $35.00! Happy birthday to shelter and thanks to all who support it. Ken
