I am a non driver. I live less than a mile and usually walk to Kroger, P.O. etc. On the day I scheduled the grooming appt. it was raining very hard. I called and explained my situation, and they said the only way I could re schedule is if I pay a no show fee of $70.00 over and above the $65.00 grooming fee. This was my first time taking my Lab to this grooming service. my husband took him at 255pm for his 3pm appointment. I was called at 335pm that my dog was done. I was told on the phone that they closed at 4pm and would be charged if was not their by 4pm. When I arrived I was charged $70 for my dog to be groomed. Was informed that was not able to do nails because my dog attempted to bite them. my dog is the most gentle dog you can have. Have never had any issue with the groomer he went to when we lived up north. I asked why it waa so much just for a bath. They said they charge $60 an hour. I said ok. he was not provided an hour and nails were not done. They had nothing to say. I did not even get a bandana. So upset. read more

Tried many groomers when I moved to Davison. This one won, paws down. If you become a regular, they try to keep the same groomer. My dog runs to her as we go through the door. They have reminder calls, text with photo when pet is ready for pickup. I love this place and I am very picky with anything to do with her. read more

I have been taking my dogs to Nicole at Dirty Paws for years. Larissa and Kay at the front desk were always very upbeat and friendly (they are no longer there), getting a picture of my dogs after their grooming was a plus. I also liked the fact that they gave me a calendar with their appointments for the coming year. That all changed when the new owner took over. They no longer took checks, which they didn't tell us until we came to pick our dogs up, and when we used our charge card we were charged an additional $6.50. They no longer do pictures and the front desk people are rude. I was willing to put up with all of this to have Nicole continue to do my dogs. When they parted ways with Nicole (on the day of my appointment) and wanted to book me with the person who bathes the dogs and is not a groomer I knew I could no longer use their services. it's unfortunate because they used to be great. read more

Unfortunately we have been here multiple times with our dogs and every time is a disappointment in some way. They don't communicate very well, although they are a super friendly staff, I never really feel like they know what they are doing with their cuts and grooms and then on top of everything their prices are not amazing. This past time they told me they did a flea dip. Our dog had them bad because we just rescued him from a shelter. Doesn't seem like their dip did anything at all because he is still majorly infested. I feel like if their services don't do what they should, then they should credit you. But no. Also, this dog came home bleeding in multiple places because of being shaved too close or snipped on his ears. Both ears bleeding... I wont be returning. sorry. I know there is better. read more

I went here for 15 years. My puppies seemed to like it, but they have no loyalty or respect for long time customers. I cancelled an appointment because of a unexpected surgery. They charged me $70 for a missed appointment, although I showed the the text I sent to confirm it (and the had replied!). That $70 cost them a customer. read more

If you want to have your pet groomed by skilled caring people, this is the place to go. My dogs are pampered, gently groomed, and never given medications. The place is clean, well managed, and professional in the best since of the word. The pet visits are short and my dogs love to see Marie and her staff. read more

Although the walk-in nail trims are a good deal, grooming is pricey and poor quality. I paid double what I do at my normal groomer, and there were spots all over where the groomer missed long hairs or cut too short making my dog's coat uneven. I came to pick him up a few minutes early, and noticed that my dog was uneasy on the table, and he's really good about being groomed. I don't know if it was the loose dogs coming up and sniffing at him or if it was something the groomer did, but that cinched it for me. I am more than willing to pay for professional grooming, but not with loose animals all over and a poor cut. read more

I took my 4 month old puppy in there this morning to get her nails trimmed and the ladies were more than helpful! The woman walked from behind the counter and clipped her nails right there on the spot. A walk in nail trimming was only $5. I would normally do something like this on my own by I'm always afraid I'll cut them too short and hurt her. I was in and out under 10 minutes. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because with all the cats and dogs free to roam around was a little overwhelming for my puppy. If I could give no stars I would. I walked in alone and filled out a short form. The greeter told me to go get my dog so I did. Upon entering the next room he was greeted by two small dogs.. I told them right away he needs to be kept separate from all dogs and the greeter replied with "we will keep him on a short leash!" I left feeling uneasy. When I got home I posted on my community page that I was looking for a groomer in the area.. about a half an hour later the owner calls me yelling at me and tells me I can come get my dog before they groom him because she saw my post on the community page.. there was only 30 minutes left of his appointment so I would assume they already started but she said they did not. I explained to her my dog has aggression issues which he is currently being trained on and I don't think it's the place for him when there are roaming dogs. She tried explaining in a very rude manor that dogs are social animals and that my trainer would think it's fine. Ok obviously she has no idea what we've discussed with the trainer and knows nothing about my dog. However I do expect them to respect my requests. I arrive to come get him and as we are waiting a lady tries to leave with her dog and a cat that hangs out there attacked it's face. I then look in the back and see my large aggressive dog is roaming free with 10 or more small dogs. They were completely rude, disregarded a simple request, and disrespected me as his owner. I paid them for their shitty service and won't be back. Seeing as they claimed to not of started him at 5:30pm and I picked him up at 6pm who knows if he was fully groomed or if they sprayed him with some dog cologne and clipped his nails. I would not recommend this place. Everyone's dogs were in danger who had them their that night. Luckily nothing happened. I would never leave any of my dogs in that environment because you have no idea what dogs they are throwing in the mix and who's going to end up never coming home! They said this is their "policy" which they don't make you aware of on the phone. Apparently this policy goes above all , including the Owners wishes. read more
