Fortunately, they scanned the microchips and corrected the error. We are repeat adopters, with a history of four cats adopted over the years. :-) The normal procedure (according to the adoption paperwork and online) is to fully register the microchips at www.petlink.com and I can then add a photograph to the listing and take advantage of the "extras" should anything happen with our cats. I checked the registrations so I could add the photographs. I was surprised to learn that their microchips were not in the system and I immediately registered both, but at the basic level. I telephoned Noah's Ark and spoke to Madison on the first Saturday of June to ask if they could upgrade the listings (as was done with the other four cats). She stated she would look into it and telephone on the upcoming Tuesday. Nothing. I emailed Brook describing what had happened but received no response. The email did not bounce so I believe she received it. Lastly, I telephoned Noah's Ark the first week of July and asked to speak with Stephanie, the manager. She was not in, but Marsha (the office manager) told me to telephone today (July 15) and ask for Brooke. Why? I have been ghosted more than once and we adopted multiple cats (all have worked out well). The correct (and professional) way to handle my call was to take a message or advise as to best date and time to call back to ensure reaching Stephanie. We also donated a great amount of dog supplies, food, and cat food. It would not have taken much to upgrade the microchip registrations to the Premium Lifetime Level. I am retired and only want what was promised in the contract.

We had paid fully for our dog by the end of the first month however, Comenity/Bread put the money in the wrong account. They had to refund cause they couldn't transfer into proper account. They over refunded meanwhile charging interest on both accounts. Straightening out their mistakes took a total of 4 months with many many calls all lasting at least 30 min to 1hour. Don't do it!!!

My parents saw her at the shelter back in 2012 and texted me her photo (because they knew I wanted a cat), and I was like "yes absolutely I want her I will come get her." And the rest is history -- it's been 11 great years with my bestie (and hopefully many more). And then a year later, almost to the day, my parents were like "hey let's go to Adopt" the day after Thanksgiving and they ended up getting a cat (their second) for themselves. I haven't been back to the shelter since 2013 when I went with them when they decided to get their cat, but at that time the shelter was super nice and they had several rooms where cats could roam free. It was a nice, no-stress situation to be able to sit on a sofa or on the floor and have the cats come check you out. So many snuggles. And I follow them on Instagram and they continue to do great work and care deeply for the animals they rescue. Definitely check them out if you are looking for a new best friend! Our previous adoptions have been meet and take home. We felt nervous leaving the perfect pup behind. I quickly filled out the application and waited for call to set up home visit. After not hearing back in a week, I refilled the application with more information, I sent a personal email and visited another event to talk to someone. Still no word. Then today my heart broke as I received a message that there is an instagram live event with our puppy listed, along with "he's still here". We could have given this puppy a beautiful life. Very sad if working would be the reason he's not home yet.
