We wanted to purchase the floor model because it was already assembled, but when we took it up to the counter it was apparently missing a piece (the plastic tray in the bottom). We said we didn't really need it though as we were going to put a litterbox in there already, so she said we could either get a new one out of the box and receive help assembling it, OR, get a discount! I figured the discount offer would be like $5 or $10 and was ready to take it BUT, they offered us a whopping $40 off! So we got the intermediate size dog cage and a small litter pan for $65, which is about half of what we were anticipating to spend! Thanks PetSmart for making our sales experience great. All the staff we talked to were friendly and helpful despite being busy.

He had Lyme disease antibodies in his bloodstream, so started antibiotics as a standard treatment. Unfortunately, he threw up the antibiotics and didn't eat well another day until his passing. I brought him in numerous times for different tests and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. He ended up developing diabetes that he didn't have from the previous bloodwork one week earlier. I feel like the doctors did everything they could to try and help him but unfortunately he just got too sick. We did give him the antibiotic shot since he threw up the antibiotics, but unfortunately that didn't help. I feel like the doctors did a good job explaining everything and all of my options and I feel like the pricing was reasonable and they certainly were not trying to take advantage of my situation. He lived his last few days with me and I was able to take him on a bike ride on his last day by pulling him in a dog trailer. He had his head up and loved it. He got so sick he couldn't walk anymore so it was late at night and I had to take him to the emergency room at the VCA to have him put to sleep. It has been a very difficult time without him. I loved him very much. When I'm ready, I will get another dog and I'm sure I will be bringing the new dog here for treatment if I'm still living in the area. Thank you for all your hard work.

We have two cats and wanted them to stay at home while we were traveling, since boarding them can be such a stressful experience. We were looking for a personal recommendation or word of mouth service, but we weren't having much luck, so ended up approaching Home Sweet Home really last minute. The owner Jessica was really accommodating, came to see our place and go over everything. It was definitely a little nerve wracking to trust our pets and place to someone we just found on the internet, but it went really well. They offered to do other things to help out during visits to the home, like retrieve our mail and making our place looked lived in. The woman taking care of our cats left notes about how the cats were doing, how they were eating, which we really appreciated. The furballs were in good shape when we got home, the litter boxes were clean, etc. If we were still living in their area of service, we definitely would consider using them again if we needed pet care.

Being a business owner myself, I understand that it is not always easy to hire the perfect employee every time, but I also know that Ms. Jessica has high standards and expects her employees to treat their customers the same way she would expect to be treated if the roles were reversed and if they do not, she fixes the situation immediately. Also, I have noticed that she is actively involved in the community...especially in terms of animals and pets. She has worked with different agencies to help pets receive food and medical treatment for families that may be financially challenged in these tough economic times.
