Frank came out, looked over our AC/ furnace situation, it impressed me that he brought in a cover to put on the floor to access the attic as to not leave a mess. Mind you I had 3 other companies in here and not one of them bothered to covered the area to keep the floor clean while checking the attic. To me, if you do this and you don't know if you have the job or not speaks volumes to me as to the kind of work you will do. I was not wrong. Anyhow, Frank thoroughly explained what his professional opinion was on what we should do, he was very knowledgeable and answered alot of questions. He had an attitude of "let me know" what we wanted to do without any kind of pressure. After receiving his proposal of work to be done as well as proposals from 3 other local companies, my husband and I said it's a "no brainer" that All Air Appliance Masters is the company we'd to go with. I contacted this business to fix my dryer. The technician said he would call with estimate. I told them to go ahead and order parts. I never received a call so I finally called. They said they never received the "ok". By this time, three weeks had passed, I told them to forget it. I called a competitor, they fixed that day at 1/3 of the cost they quoted me. read more

My air went out about two weeks ago, on a Saturday. When I called on Monday they had me on their system and had me scheduled on Tuesday. When Eric came out he was very pleasant and through. He inspected the unit and ordered the part that we needed. It did take a little long for the part to come in but when the AC went out on the Friday before 4th of July he did come out and get it working temporarily. Amanda was also great at finding the technician and getting us on his schedule in a timely manner. I purchased an AC fan motor and capacitor from Monica. Everything seemed to be going well. She threw in a free air filter for my AC, because it was stained with something. The price seemed appropriate for what I was purchasing and I was happy because they sold to the public. I bought both the capacitor and the motor, because I wasn't exactly sure why my AC motor died. I got to the house and I installed the capacitor and the AC unit fired up, so I didn't need the motor. The motor was already opened when I got it, so my intent was to return it exactly how I got it. I called Monica about an hour after I bought it and told her I would like to return it because I didn't need it. I think Phillis answered the phone and told me that all electrical parts were NON-Returnable. I was like what??? I just bought this and noone told me before I purchased it about this return policy. They said that they will have to ask Frank and I need to call back in the morning. Frank finally agreed to take back the motor, but ended up charging me a 10% fee to restock. My problem isn't the restocking fee or the idea that it's non-returnable. My problem is that they don't post it in the store, notifiy their employees to tell people or list it on their reciept. This is problematic. I don't like surprises after you buy something. Monica was very nice, but not happy with Frank and his policies or his method to letting customers know about the policies. Thing could have gone much smoother and now he lost a customer over $10 and a stupid policy. read more

Better late than never but I highly recommend this company to all that might need AC/Heating help. I wanted to remove the asbestos and check out my unit and I had a company come out that was recommended by a co-worker. I had the guy come out and inspect my unit and had to pay $65.00 for that. Anyways when the guy gave me the quote I was floored. Luckily my other co-worker just had recently bought a house and had this company do major work on his unit and he talked very highly of Frank and his crew and told me to have Frank come out and give me an estimate. Let's just say that after he looked over the unit and talked about what he would do and then gave me the quote I signed the paperwork right then and there. All Air Masters has just completed the installation of a new furnace, air conditioner, completely new ducting and insulation in my 2300 square foot townhome. I chose them after getting an estimate from another company, which also seemed good. However, I went with All Air Masters for several reasons. I was impressed that Frank, the owner of the company, came to my house to give the estimate and answer any questions. The other company had a sales rep give me the information, and I had to go to their offices for a report of an energy audit that I had them do. The two estimates I received were within a few hundred dollars of each other. After being favorably impressed with Frank's knowledge and straightforward manner, I decided to check further. I read the online reviews of his company, spoke with the City office in charge of inspections of HVAC systems, and spoke with a man who worked in the air conditioning shop of an organization that Frank had mentioned that his company does work for. Coincidentally, the person in the air conditioning shop had just had All Air Masters do a complete HVAC renovation of his residence. The results of these inquiries led me to decide to go with Frank's company. The online reviews were almost all very positive (I assume that 5% of reviewers of anything would not be satisfied with perfection itself); the City employee in the inspection department said they had never had a problem with All Air Masters' installations, and that the company was one of the most active in our city; and the man in air conditioning shop was very pleased with his HVAC renovation and with the care that the installation crew had shown, including their minimizing dust. So I scheduled the job for my townhouse about a month ahead. Frank stayed in touch with me in the interim, and the equipment and his crew appeared as scheduled. Everything went smoothly during the 5 days that it took to complete the job. When my wife wanted more information about the certification of the outside asbestos duct removal crew, Frank provided it. The crew of Bobby and Jose were hard workers and pleasant people to be around. Bobby kept me informed of the steps that they were undertaking each day. Frank did a final inspection and answered any questions I had. My experience with All Air Masters was positive in all aspects. I purchased a central ac and heating system 3 months ago to be installed in my house. First the unit that showed up wasn't the correct one so had to reorder and reschedule the instal. Then after they installed it it took them a month to do their testing before the city inspector could come for permitting. It then failed permitting and it took a month of me calling the to get them back out to "fix their mistakes" had the inspector come out again and if failed inspection again. They schedule appointments then if they can't make it they don't call and notify until 2 hours after they were supposed to be there. They treat me like I am an idiot and I am just being a pain when I call to tell them their unit failed inspection and they need to come fix it. I would recommend going somewhere else if you have the choice. Not professional at all they say they know what they are doing but then when the inspector says they need a pressure test on the new gas and refrigerant lines they say they don't know what he is talking about. They put too small wiring in for the unit they installed and the wrong size breaker that will melt the wire before it trips. Not a good company. Still waiting for them to finish my system and get it to pass permitting after 3 months. I paid $10000 for the system to be installed and they treat me like I am stealing money from them. read more

Called because the ice maker on my 7yr old GE Profile refrigerator was leaking. The service man arrived timely and after making a cursory look at the door seals, which he said were in excellent condition,writing down the serial number of the refrigerator declared that I needed a new ice maker which was very expensive. ($300) He then proceeded to tell me what a terrible choice I had made in selecting this particular refrigerator and that I probably would have to replace it in a couple of years anyway. Since I was unwilling to spend $300 on the ice maker, I paid the $49 for the service call and sent him on his way. Today I found out that a replacement ice maker costs $140 installed. read more

I bought a Nest thermostat and tried to install it myself but my electrical and AC system are a bit wonky. Anyway, the Nest website lead me to them and I booked an appointment. The first time was the hottest part of the year and I had things to do besides wait so we rescheduled. The second time the technician couldn't get my address from the GPS correctly. I hired these guys to find out why I needed a new living room ceiling for the second time in two months. They quickly saw what the other A/C company missed. They were perfectly happy to repair my problem (which wasn't a problem with the A/C at all, but a problem with the piece of wood on which the coils sat ... or leaned drunkenly now which was the problem). Since I liked them, I wanted an evaluation of my system which struggled to keep things at 80 and cost me well over $400 a month in the summer for my little house. We went out to see how old my system was .. and it was getting up there in years and was pretty underpowered. We discussed the inefficient organization of ducting in the attic ... it seems at least one duct wasn't even connected to the vent. There were also large areas that had no insulation. This made some sense since there is only enough room in the crawlspace for a hobbit. Now, as I had no faith in my A/C to begin with, I decided I did not want to ever see my rafters again while repairing it. I had these guys reduct my attic, put in a high end Trane system that looks like it has the power to fly my house, and blow in some kickass insulation. They also got me a year of free financing. I waited to write this until I got the first electric bill. It was less than half of normal. read more

Just had a service repairman come to my home to check my ice maker and air conditioner. The ice maker needs replacing and would cost at least $280. The repairman gave me a suggestion of just removing the ice maker and using trays. It would give me more room in the freezer. He also checked the air compressor and thermostat and said everything is working fine. I appreciated his candor and that he did not try to up-sell me anything. He was very friendly. My only small complaint would be that they charged $49 for the visit. But other than that, I highly recommend them. read more

i just had a visit by Vincent from All Air Appliance Masters to repair my dish washer...he was on time and very professional...my dish washer was leaking...he asked me a few questions and i answered him and he told what the problem was and how to fix it and he said no charge...the problem was my wife some how..some way introduced the wrong type soap into washer...the wrong soap created lots of sud's which caused washer to leak...he told me to put a little cooking oil in washer and run it a complete cycle...which im doing...he could have charged me for this and it would have been right to do so but he did not...needless to say the next time i need work done on any of my appliances for sure this company gets my business...thank you Vincent..your the best! read more

We had an exceptional experience with All Air Appliance Masters. Our central air broke down on a Saturday, two hours before company came to dinner. We struggled through the hot Claremont, CA weather for two days using fans and open windows at night. On the following Monday, a phone call to All Air was made on a recommendation from a neighbor. Within 28 hours to Tuesday at 3:30pm we had a whole new Trane system installed and working. Brian was our first contact who came to our home within 3 hours of our call. We opted for a specific system that suited our needs and requirements, signed the papers, and made a deposit. Next morning, Brian called and advised that Bobby and Angel would be arriving in a half hour to make the installation. Two professionals showed up and worked non-stop and had us up and running. After the installation, we had customer call follow ups from Brian and the owner of the facility to check and see how we were doing, and more explanation of our long term coverage and warranty benefits. After 32 years, our heating/ac gave up on life and we had to have a full replacement of everything! Called a couple of other companies, one of which didn't even show up for the estimate appt. Called All Air Masters and it was a dream from start to finish. This company would inform me when they were going to call just to set up appts. From our first meeting/estimate with Brian to the instillation (Joseph, Bobby and Jan and the other three guys were amazing), they were professional, reliable, efficient. It took only two days to replace everything (including ducting and water heater) and the work was done so very well. These guys would even eat in shifts so that someone was always doing something to get the job done! After install, we had one problem. Who ever put in the coolant, didn't put enough in and three days later, the system was working too hard and froze up! I called and they sent someone the next day. Erik arrived to find this little mess and had to deal with it. It was obviously not done correctly to begin with and didn't have to happen, and Erik was in a tough position. But, he was so polite and professional, didn't bad mouth anyone, totally fixed the problem, and assured me it would NEVER happen again. It hasn't. That, to me, says much about a company: How they deal with problems that crop up. Everything was handled well.
