The fish, hush puppies and JUMBO shrimp that come out of there are the bomb, the fries are not my favorite but wifey loves them and the price is good for an inland fresh fish joint. They are to go only, which is ok for me because they are close to the house, but if you live a bit away you might wanna bring a device to keep it hot on your way home. They look like a typical on the coast shack that you would see fishing boats coming into, nothing fancy, but I've noticed they have rebranded and may be under new ownership. When I first tried this spot it was really good. The woman behind the counter said you will be back ... she was right. Tonight my mom surprised me with a plate. My guess is they were running low on food. 2 pieces of fish and literally one looked like there was no fish hiding beneath the breading. Purchased a dozen of live blue crabs and a couple of Spot fish plates. Crabs were enough to feed 3 adults and my special dipping sauce topped them off! The spots had a citrus flavor that my family didn't care for. The cabbage and carrots slaw was reminiscent of grocery store slaw. I will try their snapper platt next and will return for more crabs. read more

The food is definitely worth a return trip. I went here last week and got a catfish plate, with fries and slaw. Soooooooo GOOD! When I first saw the place I was a little worried because it does look like a "whole in the wall" but I'm so glad I went. This fish was super fresh and my plate was around $10.00 but you get a big portion. I included pics for review. We wanted fish for dinner and saw the great reviews this place was getting. The reviews were right on the money. The fish is excellent the service even better. Friendly environment as you wait while they prepare your meal. The staff was very helpful as she assisted me on putting together a platter for my family. The flounder, catfish, whiting and shrimp is what we ended up with plus cole slaw and hush puppies enough to fill all four of us.Very reasonably priced. As the cashier was finishing up my order she actually talked about other types of seafood they offer, and already had me planning my next visit, this is what customer service should be and is always greatly appreciated. Went there for the first time today. While we were waiting we were offered some crabs to try and they were delicious. We ordered a fish plate and a shrimp plate, both were absolutely delicious. The coleslaw was fresh and the hushpuppies were amazing. The shrimp were seasoned good. We got enough sauces, napkins and forks. Very friendly people and we felt welcomed. This is the best fresh seafood I have purchased in many, many years!!! I stopped by yesterday to try and find fresh fish I could bake at home and was greeted by Shawanda. She was extremely helpful in directing me to the fish with the best taste for baking, as well as showing me the black bass which was a lot cheaper per pound than the red snapper. Most business owners would have gone for the more expensive fish, but she tried to help me save some $$$. I did purchase both the snapper and the bass, which were both carefully cleaned and packaged so my car did not smell like fish the next morning. Shawanda also gave me cooking tips for the fish which were very helpful. I have since baked both, and they were excellent!!!! I also purchased the jumbo shrimp with the heads left on. I can not begin to say how wonderful they were!!! They were so fresh and sweet that I did not have to use any type of sauce. I will be returning tomorrow to try more of their fresh selections as well as purchase more shrimp!! They also have fried plates that they will prepare for you which looked delish!! However, I am trying to watch my waistline so I am trying to stay away from fried!! I would highly recommend All American Fish Market to anyone that is looking for fresh seafood-fried or any other way. They are so helpful and make you feel right at home!!
