Crew 2 came to trim up my trees in the front and backyard. During the process, tree branches broke 2 pieces of trim on my fence. The owner sent the crew back and they made excuses about how the fence was already broken--it wasn't and pieces of tree were literally stuck in the portions they broke apart. I ended up paying more than $900 more than what I thought they quoted for the job. They said "I'll do everything for $1,500", but then when I was presented the final invoice, it turned out the "everything" they quoted was in ADDITION to an earlier quote. They did a nice job and cleaned up well afterwards, but the pricing left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I was surprised by the low rating for this business on Yelp, so I wanted to leave my own review. John and his crew are the best. We have hired them on 3 separate occasions over the last 3 years. Every experience has been great. John is really responsive--each time, we have gotten the quote and the job done all within one week of calling him. His crew is friendly and works very efficiently. As a new-ish homeowner with zero experience with landscaping, I love that John takes the time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions in detail. They also have very affordable prices. When we first moved into our home, we had several trees that needed to be cut down and a few stumps to be grounded down. John quoted us for a fraction of the price that other companies quoted us. Tried to out-and-out scam me; promised a job at $800, tried to raise it to $3000 half-way-through and started extreme pressure when I refused. Avoid at all costs, or at the *very least* definitely insist on a contract before any work begins. All American Tree and Landscaping was amazing. I was a little skeptical at first because they came in with the lowest price but after watching them at work, was amazed. They are super professional and clean. They worked together like a well oiled machine. The years of experience show. They ground the stumps below grade and cleaned and raked everything. I can't remember the tree cutter/climbers name but he was the happiest guy I think I've ever seen. I've recommended them to everyone who has asked me about tree service and hope they use them. Do NOT hire them. This company when I first called them was responsive and quick to set up a time to come out and trim trees, shrubs, and mulch. The crew showed up as expected for an estimate and quoted for both the one time yard cleanup, as well as a regular 2 week cycle mowing & weed whacking. I agreed to both. At the end of the initial yard cleanup they mentioned a huge shrub wasn't able to be completed that day, so they would finish when they came back in a week to start the mowing cycle. That seemed reasonable and I paid them for that initial job. It's now two weeks later, with about 15 unreturned phone calls placed (they don't answer their phone) and they still haven't showed up or spoken with me since. read more

We hired this company to remove a tree on our front yard. They did a fine job with the tree removal and cleanup, however, they said they would return on July 5th to grind and remove the stump as well as backfill with soil. On July 5th the company was a no show so my husband called to find out there whereabouts only to be told they would arrive the following morning. July 6th rolls around and again a no show so my husband called again to get a status update. The company never responded to phone calls or text messages. Needless to say we are back to square one looking for a company to grind and remove the stump. I would never recommend this company to neighbors or friends. Lousy customer service. read more

I spent almost 3 months trying to locate a tree service local to Stafford. Had one that quoted me 3xs the amount as two other services, had one take 3 weeks to come out for a quote and then after 4 more weeks failed to respond to my request to schedule. But All American (aka John) responded to my request for quote within a few hours, came out the next day provided a quote, and then sent a formal quote with insurance information. He was responsive in terms of scheduling changes due to weather. And came by day of to run through the plan and introduce the team. Unfortunately I would have agree, DO NOT HIRE THEM! I finally get HOA approval to remove my tree and I immediately called them up based on the estimate, previous service I was provided. I was told they would be able to fit me in on a Sunday which worked really well with my schedule. They were suppose to arrive between 1pm-2pm. I was shocked when 5pm rolled around and they never called me or sent a text/email. Complete NO SHOW. I was not expecting to be treated in that way. read more
