The Maksanty crew took out 7 HUGE pines in our backyard, and cleaned up all the other trees for us at the start of Covid. While doing our initial search for a contractor, we contacted about 6 others who gave us a number over the phone. John was the only professional to come, analyze the work that needed to be done with each tree, and produced a quote that was far less than any other quote we had received! I live in Stafford and was looking for a tree service to take down two trees that were in danger of hitting my house. I got a few quotes from people who had stopped by my house 'cold'. I decided to start internet sleuthing to find a well rated service on the net. I found Maksanty and called the number. John was able to give me a quote after I texted him photos of the trees that I wanted down and he promptly provided a quote lower than the ones I had. He showed up on time and showed me a tree that he thought was in danger of hitting my house that I had not thought was an issue. Jonathan and his crew are true professionals in their trade. They take extreme pride in their work and treat your property as it was there own. We had a large Pin Oak that did not survive the winter. I requested multiple quotes from many companies and went with American Lawn and Tree since they were the only company that took ever precaution to protect the lawn and the rest of the property. They arrived on time and when they did they went to work prepping the area. They laid down protective mats to protect the yard and ensure the area was clear of any obstacles. They ensured the rigging on the tree was secure and Johnathan went to work. He was a surgeon in the tree. Every branch came down with a rope to prevent unneeded impact to the lawn and leaving divets. The cut branches were quickly taken to the truck and mulched. You could tell that keeping a clean work area was an important part of their work ethic. Once the tree was down and cut to the ground they went to town grinding it away. They placed protective screens around the area to contain the wood chips and constantly cleaned them away as they went. Once that was done they filled the hole in and cleaned up the entire front yard and driveway from any saw dust that was laying around. Area was left cleaner than when they arrived. If you have to get a tree cut down I HIGHLY RECOMMEND American Lawn & Tree. I will not use another tree service after seeing this company in action read more
