Our vehicle was towed less than 5 minutes to a nearby gas station, yet we were told it would not be released unless we paid $2,000, with no clear explanation or itemized charges. The owner yelled at my father, mocked his accent, and became aggressive when I asked for respectful communication. At the lot, employees laughed, mocked our situation, and made racist remarks while we were trying to arrange another mechanic. When I mentioned Virginia's regulated fees for police-requested tows, we were told to pay or they would junk the vehicle. The only professional person was the young woman in the office. I am filing a complaint with the Virginia DMV. Avoid this company.
