Our tow truck driver recommended this place so that is where we had it towed. The next morning, I received a call from Mike saying that our engine had a spun a rod bearing. That basically meant we needed a new engine. He recommended I talk to the Hyundai dealership to see if it was still under the manufacturer powertrain warranty. Thankfully it was under warranty, so I had it towed to the dealership for the repairs. Despite spending his time diagnosing the issue, Mike did not charge me anything. If I'm ever in the area and need another car issue diagnosed, I would definitely visit again. Thanks!

Yesterday both my car and my wife's had issues, hers needed towed to the shop. Mine wouldn't act up for them the way it did for me that prompted me to take it into the shop. That's not uncommon and rather than start throwing parts at it and "guessing" they asked me to keep driving it and hopefully it will eventually progress to where its more consistent and they can fix it right the first time. So knowing mine was functional and safe, just with an intermittent issue, they said I could pick mine up so we wouldn't need to rent a car. Diagnostics on mine came to $120, which I paid without objection. A couple of hours later the owner calls me and tells me that it was someone new up front and he's still learning and I shouldn't have been charged since they couldn't find my issue. They will apply what I paid to my wife's bill. I have never had a shop NOT charge for diagnostics in my 35 years of car ownership. Even if they couldn't find what was wrong. They have done everything for me from brakes to complete engine replacement, and as long as I am in the Central Illinois area I will continue to bring my vehicles to them and recommend them.

I was encouraged to look at different vehicles, even after the sales staff had spoken to me about the particular car. I voiced my concern and was given the typical sales excuses.
