My current cleaners closed. I took 5 Land's End cotton shirts by for was and press. I asked the…read moreprice and was told 3.50 each. I went by today to pick them up and gave a $20 bill expecting the total to be around 17.50 or so. The girl said $30.14. I said this is wrong. She checked and said some of the shirts had to be dry cleaned. The shirts were all to be same cotton shirts. No manager or owner there just a delivery driver which of course didn't care. I will never use that place again and will advise others to avoid it also. The girl should have looked and seen they were wrong but she didn't care.

1 is the LOWEST or it would be a negative 5 ! I have been signed up for pick up and delivery, I…read morehave called and left messages, without getting a call back when requested. And HAVE HAD MY CLOTHES HANG AS INSTRUCTED FOR PICK UP, AND NEVER PICKED UP! Have driven there 2 times after no one would answer the phone to inquire and verify, spoke with a young girl 1st time, then same thing happened, all the way to NO ONE ANSWERING THE PHONE WHILE OPEN AND CLOTHES LEFT HANGING ON DOOR as I had left it Thursday for pick up, went out of town and returned to my bag still hanging on the door. Called lwft message to call me, YEP YOU GUESSED IT, NO RETURN CALL. So I go back up there 11 miles 1 way each time and now a young man, verified address, name, delivery days and process and ask do I need to call , NO , They come by and of not there they keep going, OKAY. So this morning, to be double safe, call again 30 minutes after advertised time open to make aware and same thing NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE, SO AGAIN left a message. Put bag on door went to meeting, called again while driving, NO Answer, left message. Come back home to check and YEP, AT 12 PM STILL HANGING, Now 5 hours later. Call, no answer lwft another message waited 15 minutes, called again back to back to back to finally get someone to answer. She was ABSOLUTELY LESS THAN CONCERNED OR apologetic, instead she responds to my question of why no one can answer the phone I've been calling since this morning and he response" well there's only 2 of us here and I dont have time to keep answering th phone to see what someone may need" But I can call the driver and see if hes still where he might be able to come by and pick up if you want me to check ( REALLLY) 1- Do you think that answer was going to give me more confidence to trust ANYINE there with my clothes? 2- Should you even have to ask an ignorant question " Do I" after you've stated you dont answer the phone because you dont have time to see what who's calling wants and I'm gonna leave you my clothes at ANY POINT TO HANDLE NOW!!!!!!!!! If there's only2 people there thats not my issue , thats your owners issue, if I didnt want the clothes picked up and service e completed I would not have done all previously described that I explained to you. Finally, I ask for the owners to give me a call , and of course almost an hour has past and NO PHONE CALL!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVI E, THEY HAVE DESICRATED THE WORD CHAMPION AND ITS MEANING, Please make everyone you can aware as I plan to do now on every social media platform I can in this area and even someone I dont know I may pass in the bread isle at the grocery store. Absolutely NOT WORTH BEING EVEN CALLED A BUSINESS

I needed some dry cleaning done for an upcoming event. I read many reviews online for dry cleaners…read morein the Pensacola area. None of them seemed stellar. I chose Vicks Cleaners at 2915 W. Navy Blvd, the main plant, even though I live off Nine Mile Rd. I explained my timeline to a very nice lady named Vanessa. She said the items (two suit jackets and a pair of pants) should be back before the end of the week, but told me up front that was only an estimate. She explained an option to rush the items for an extra fee and they would be guaranteed complete by the end of the following day. I was happy to pay the fee since I needed them over the weekend. I returned to pick the items up today. There was no problem at all. The jackets and pants are perfectly pressed. The ladies that I dealt with on both ends of the transaction were pleasant and cordial. I'm very happy with the transaction (under $30) and will do more business with them the next time I need something cleaned. I'm choosing to post this in order to offer at least a single counter to the lop-sided reviews. That's my experience.

I brought a custom-made suit to Vick's Cleaners that cost $1,073.93. When the suit was returned, the jacket had significant damage, including holes and separation of the fabric. The damage was serious enough that the suit could no longer be used as intended. What followed was extremely frustrating. I was initially given one possible explanation for the damage, including the possibility of a manufacturer defect. Later, the possibility of insects was raised as another explanation. I disputed that explanation, particularly because I properly store my suits in garment bags and have not experienced similar damage to my other suits. The jacket was eventually sent to a "so-called laboratory" for examination. There were also delays and confusion surrounding the initial examination and the need for further examination concerning the holes and fabric separation. I made numerous attempts to resolve the matter directly. When those efforts were unsuccessful, I ultimately pursued the matter through small claims court. Unfortunately, the matter was not successfully resolved through the court process. During the proceedings, I learned that the previous owner/operator of Vick's Cleaners had filed for bankruptcy. The current business, Palm Press Cleaners, maintained that the damage occurred before they took over the business and that the garment was therefore not in their care at the time. However, there is an important part of this story that I believe customers should know: the current management became directly involved after the damage was discovered. They communicated with me about the condition of my jacket, discussed possible explanations for the damage--including the possibility of insects--and had the jacket submitted for laboratory examination. I am not claiming that the current owners personally caused the damage. My concern is that, regardless of the change in ownership, I was left with a damaged $1,073.93 suit and was unable to obtain a satisfactory resolution. The current owners have stated that they have invested more than $200,000 in new equipment and improvements since incident in April 2026. I hope those improvements benefit their customers. However, new equipment does not change what happened to my garment or my experience dealing with the aftermath. My review is based on my personal experience and the documentation I retained, including photographs, receipts, communications, and documentation concerning the laboratory examination and court proceedings. The issue for me is not simply that my suit was damaged. It was the damage itself, the changing explanations, the delays, the ownership transition, and the difficulty obtaining a satisfactory resolution. After this experience, I would NOT trust any garment--not an inexpensive garment, not an expensive garment, and certainly not a custom garment--in their care. Customers can make their own decisions, but I strongly recommend doing your research and understanding how the business handles damaged garments before leaving your clothing with them.
