The only dry cleaner to go to in Pensacola. They have wonderful stuff and quick turnaround. They are very professional.

They did a good job on my dress slacks and got the stain out with no residue. It was a 4 day service, reasonably priced.

I have been using them since I moved to Pensacola. I always wait until I have a fairly large amount. Where I lived before, I NEVER an issue, with loss, damage or turn around. Today's experience very different I go out in with 7 slacks and 14 shirts. Ok, it's a lot. But I am told they are already pushed back to Monday. I tell them I need the clothes back by Sat. 1) they reply we aren't open on Saturday. What dry clean business isn't open on Saturday? 2) they can TRY to have it by Friday. I said "I'm leaving on trip Monday and I will be gone a month. I need the clothes ON Friday". Response again, "We can TRY" I said, try isn't good enough and apparently neither is modern cleaners. This is no way to run a business. Especially for the price they charge. More than many others in the area. I won't be returning. Oh, the last time I went they lost a shirt they never recovered. Dropped off a large amount of dry cleaning and it took them 3 weeks to get all the items cleaned. They lost 3 pairs of dress pants and it has been over a month that they have been "trying to find them". I've been asking to speak to the owner for two weeks and they told he is out of the country. When I asked him his name they said it is "Mr. Mike". I asked if "Mr. Mike" had a last name, they replied they only know him as Mr. Mike? When I told them I wanted to be reimbursed for the pants they said I needed to produce receipts and the age of the pants, like who has those from years ago? For a company that supposedly has been in business since 1946, I would think they would know something more about customer service. Terrible business. Go somewhere else! read more

I took my uniform to this shop because it has decent reviews. They charged me $15 for a press, it took TWO days, no dry cleaning. It's hard and stiff with GIANT railroad marks on every crease, there are portions that were folded during pressing. It is a nightmare to even try to make presentable, I had to rewash it and do it myself for an important occasion. I'll just stick to the base because apparently getting uniforms pressed in a military town IS NOT their specialty. Do not recommend for uniforms! read more

On 10/09/23 I dropped off 3 two piece suits at Modern Dry Cleaners. I went to pick up my suits on 10/13/23. On that day, I was only able to pick up two out of the three suits because the lady said they found additional stains on the Jacket of the third suit so it's being cleaned. It won't be ready until later in the day. I went back the next day and now it is missing. No where to be found. She said to give her some time to locate it. So I did. I waited until Monday and she said she got busy on the weekend and didn't have time to find it. So Tuesday come and I called back again. This time she tells me she can't find it and will tell her boss (Mike) about it so he can take care of it. Wednesday hits and her boss leaves without calling me. She said he needs time to track the suit himself before he will discuss reimbursement. Thursday morning I call and ask to speak to the boss himself and she said no, he's busy. He will call you today. No calls came from the boss. I even told the lady if he doesn't call me I will file a complaint with the BBB. Guess what happened? No call from Mike. It's Friday and I call back and Mike has left for the day. The lady now answers the phone just puts me on hold and ignores me. Shady place. I have filed a complaint with BBB. Hopefully my message here will raise awareness to future consumers that they don't care and the customer service is the poorest I've experienced since moving to FL. read more

DO NOT GO HERE !!!I rarely leave any reviews but today I could not resist! Do not take your professional / military clothing here at all!! I just moved to the area I dropped my uniforms off to be cleaned and pressed to avoid traveling all the way to the base. I arrived to pick my uniforms up twice , the first time completely wrinkled with no press. The second time, They did not press them and looked like they put them on a hanger as soon as they came out of the dryer. The manager was very rude and had a nasty attitude. He did not want to accommodate me for the bad service I received and stated, since I know the standard of how the uniforms was suppose to look that I should have done them myself. Eventually, he did not charge me for one of my items. The managers customer service is what turned me completely away. I feel for the staff is they receive this horrible treatment but the their service and considerations made me feel more comfortable then the angry manager. This place is quick to take money and not accommodate for horrible services . I will not be back and do not recommend. read more

There are no dry cleaners near me in Perdido Key, so my options were the ones in the downtown area. Modern Cleaners was a bit more of a drive for me, but it had the best reviews - it was definitely worth it. Staff were extremely friendly and made the whole experience very pleasant. They also got my dry cleaning done very quickly (faster than I had requested). Overall would definitely recommend! read more

Friendly staff. Quick turnaround is no extra charge. Prices are reasonable on most items but a little pricey on a few. Quality is mostly good but I have been disappointed a time or two during the 2.5 years I have been a customer. Good enough that I will continue to be a customer. Nobody's perfect.
