I asked the company for the names of authorized repair shops in my area and ATR was the closest so I booked an appointment. First-off they tried to cancel the appointment 10 mnutes before they were supposed to arrive and then, when the repair person actually did make it, he was clueless-. I knew more about the appliance by just reading the manual. The situation got so ridiculous I finally had to ask if he even knew how to work on a Thermador refrigerator and he answered he wasn't really "the right guy" (what?!? and they want to get paid for the house visit????). He wasted an hour resetting the freezer- something I already knew how to do- and after checking who knows what he came to the conclusion that the icemaker should start working in the the next 24 hrs and if it didnt the icemaker had to be replaced. So then I got a service technician directly from Thermador to check the freezer- he took the equipment apart, did several diagnostic tests, and discovered there is absolutely nothing wrong with the freezer/icemaker: the issue was that the water line had a problem or was shut-off. Conclusion: dont call ATR Appliance!!!! Ever!
