Ron gave a very competitive quote for installing a new NEMA14-50 outlet for a portable Level 2 charger in my carport. Required rewiring a sub panel and about 50 ft of 6 gauge wiring to the carport. Excellent electrician! After waking up to a smell like burning wires. I turned the breakers off for the area and called All Bright for help. They actually answered the phone! They were able to send out Ron in the afternoon, who promply diagnosed the CGFI breaker had "burned" up. Fortunately it did not affect the wires in the wall and he replaced the plug. While he was here, he replaced a fan I purchased for the same bathroom that should have been "plug and play" but wasn't even close. It's my pleasure to write this review for Ron, Debra and Tim. I needed a NEMA 14-50 plug placed in my garage for a new electric vehicle. I had 6 different electricians come to give me estimates. I was so disturbed that they were all over the place in their recommendations. Some said my electric panel was fire hazard, some said they felt it was completely fine, others didn't know my panel was potential fire hazard until they researched it a day or two after they came to look at my home. Some said there was barely enough load and other said I was fine because my electric use would not stress the system. Well - I'm no electrician. I was really confused and stressed since I didn't know what to do given all the variable recommendations. Deb said over the phone that if they come over and they can get the job done on the spot - they will do it right then for my convenience. Ron and Tim came over completely on time (awesome and appreciated). I had a load of questions prepared at this point given that I had to do a lot of reading to understand what may be safe to do in my home. I "grilled" Ron politely with all my questions and he was completely calm and professional and actually knew the info about my type of electric panel already without needing to take a day or two to "research it". He was knowledgeable about the permitting process and basically all about NEMA 14-50 plug placement. He seemed to know what he was talking about (I had already done tons of research by this time so I knew many of his answers were legit.) He was very patient with me, and I was very appreciative of this. I decided to give him my business and he and Tim did the job in about 2 hours. It was wonderfully done - no issues. Ron, Debra and crew are great team. We've had them on three jobs and are planning a fourth with them on our Eichler-built home in Concord. From small (running new circuits) to large (upgrade to 200A service). One of the nice things about All Bright is that they're fairly small -- meaning that everyone knows what's going on and when. It's a good team-effort: Debra not only mans the phones but seems to deal with a lot of the paper-work side of the business (permits) and Ron and the crew are in the field. Every time I've called I've gotten an answer rather than a "let me check and call you back" which is not only efficient, but adds to an overall level of confidence. Moreover, appointments are able to be scheduled within a matter of days, not weeks. They also invest back into the community insofar as local-team-sponsorships and community events. For a small community (Concord/Clayton), it is great to see an All Bright logo on a soap-box derby car. Not only would I recommend them, I have and will continue to do so... read more

Today Ron from Albright Electric came to install a special plug I need for my new Tesla. He was very prompt and efficient. He also came out and gave a free estimate the week before. I spoke with his wife on the phone and she guided me through getting a permit from the city of Concord and his work is excellent just what I wanted. The work was inspected by city of Concord no problem everything is is great! Ron also, while here,replaced my 20-year-old smoke detectors and that was extra work he was able to do when we asked. Never again! We had to fix a doorbell so we contacted All Bright Electric. First of all, they never answered the phone. We had to leave messages and waited 2 or 3 or 4 days before they called back. The 1st visit, they mixed up the appointment time, it seemed ok to us at that time (people make mistakes), however, the problem did not solve after an electrician left. Electrician name was Tim. He was a nice guy. Tim came back the 2nd time to fix. The next day, the door bell still did not work...again. Both visits were charged about $120 each time plus part cost, so we paid almost $300 total and still have to call for the 3rd time. Two weeks later, both Ron & Tim came to fix and we paid another $120. After they left, next day, the door bell still did not work. We called and left a message. Who knows how long they can call us back! We don't even think they can do this simple job. What a waste of money! Very unprofessional! read more

Beware! It seems as though it is all about money for this family owned business, not customer service! Very unprofessional.She gave me an estimate for $100.00 an hour + materials. He showed up with a helper (friend). All they did is talk to each other their about personal while working. My bill came to double what I was quoted. I was not informed I was also paying $100.00 for family friend also who he was with him. I needed to call another electrician to redo some of his projects. I also had him replace my circuit breaker. That was a mistake. My A/C was not working. I had to call my A/C guy to find out it was electrical?.. read more

I have had Ron do a number of jobs and he and helper are always reliable and do very good work. But this time I was more than disappointed with the cost. He installed four under cabinet fluorescents, two track lights and one plug in Led. It took him and his helper two hours, labor only and the only material he provided was the $30 Led. Total bill $610. To me, that is $580 in labor or $$290 per hour. I just called a local electrician and was quoted $190 for him and helper. Looks like I gotta change. read more

Okay, so I'm updating my previous 2 star review. I needed some GFI and outlet repairs. Ron the owner shows up and we discover at the front door that I had given him a bad review. A little uncomfortable moment....We agree that we'll communicate better this time about rates and fees. I say I was quoted $110 an hour plus parts. He says that's correct and that I won't be charged for two guys at that rate. They proceed again in an efficient and friendly manner. When they're done they provide me an invoice for $150 which was $110 hourly rate plus $40 in parts. Great guys and great service. Just shows the importance of good communication. read more
