I highly recommend Jason and All Phase Electric. We had a problem getting an electric shock after our new stove was installed. Problem persisted even after oven tech checked over the oven and other electrical connections. Tech suggested I needed to call an electrician. I called Jason (All Phase Electric) who scheduled a service call. When he arrived a few days later, he found that the installers had not wired the oven correctly (it was wired for a 3-wire even though the plug was 4-wire). Jason diagnosed the issue quickly and not only corrected the initial error but found several other issues related to the install and set up. Jason patiently and courteously answered my questions (I don't know anything about electrical work). He was masterful in finding and fixing the issues. My wife and I appreciated his knowledge, skill and thoroughness. Clearly he cared about the quality of his work even to the details of being careful with our countertops, floors, and cabinets. I needed to have a GFCI plug installed for my outside outlet so after checking out a couple places I decided to give Jason a call. He called me back the same day and gave me a reasonable quote so we set up an appointment for later that week. When he came out, he found out the wires behind the plug were not up to code (not surprised based on other things in the house) but he fixed that issue and installed the GFCI plug for the same price he quoted me. I really appreciate businesses that aren't out to nickel and dime you. Good, decent human beings. And because of that I got a quote from him for installing some ceiling fans in a couple rooms. You guys know how hot it is out here and we wanted to have some circulation for those in-between days to save on our AC. Those PG&E bills are killer in the summer! The quote seemed ok to me so we set it up. Normally I get 3 quotes but being that it wasn't that big of a job and my experience the first time, I decided to go with Jason. The most stressful part of the job was deciding on a ceiling fan - there are so many of them out there! Most look the same to me but I found one that would work in both rooms and had a remote control, which actually saved me money because he didn't have to install a switch for them. Jason and his son Ceyhan recently installed recessed lighting in 3 rooms of our home. The prices we were quoted were fair, they were punctual, and they did a great job installing the lighting. They made minimal cuts & left everything very clean. They were very polite & respectful. There was a bit of a miscommunication regarding what size cans we wanted & lumen amount, but they were willing to work with us to make everything as we wanted it. Jason and his son fixed 2 issues today and had a great experience. We needed an old motion light above the garage replaced with a new Ring floodlight (there was a bad sensor causing issues with the old light which we were concerned about, so we didn't want to touch it ourselves without knowing what the issue was), and we also needed old walkway lights to be disconnected from the power so that we can remove them and put new solar lights in. Took about ~45 mins and stayed within their initial service fee quote. Doing the work quickly and within the quote is great enough to warrant a 5 star review, but there were a few more things that made me extremely happy: 1) I contacted them on Monday morning and Jason called me back the same evening and scheduled an appointment 3 days later for Thursday. And 2) he mentioned a window time of 1-2pm when they would arrive but said that he would text/call before to give a more accurate estimate. And sure enough, he called before 1pm and confirmed that he was on the way and would be there in 30 minutes. With a busy work schedule from home with meetings throughout the day, that is also huge and I'm sure many people would agree. Thank you very much for keeping your word on the communication/arrival part, Jason. And beyond all of that, they were very nice, informative, and wore masks. Very pleased with the work these guys did. I needed a pendant light installation which was complicated by an off center electrical box, and they were able to work around the complications and do an impeccable job and get everything centered again. I also needed a work light installed in my garage, which required a run of conduit along the ceiling, they were able to install it quickly and cost effectively, and the conduit is well hidden and barely noticeable. I will obviously go with someone else who bothers to call me back. Update: I got a call from the buisness today a couple hours after posting my review. He was much much more concerned about the one star review that he did not "deserve" versus apologizing for not calling me back or offering to start over. He mentioned the word deserve numerous times I and I felt a loss for the bygone times of customer service. I have never not recieve a message on my phone, and I did not recieve a message or a call from this company. I even scrolled back thru my missed calls. Nothing. Sometimes mistakes can be made and people forget to do things. I would have been fine if he had just admitted to that. That is human nature. We had Jason come by and check out our outdated electric panel. He was one of three electricians to come through. What I really appreciate is the down to earth solutions based quote. When I rang and explained the problem, Jason advised us of a possible solution. However it didn't work which meant he had to come out to see what the issue was. We knew that being a holiday weekend we would need to pay extra but the price Jason quoted was very reasonable. He came at the assigned time and rang about 20 minutes before he was due to arrive to let us know. He figured out the problem quickly and fixed the issue. The electricity in my parents' detached garage went out suddenly and my dad tried to find the problem but couldn't...and I will not mess with any electrical panels so I looked around for an electrician. I searched Yelp for an electrician in Concord and found Allphase Electric. Since my mom uses the garage for her side job, I needed someone to come out asap! Jason said he was available later in the day and came out when he said he would and even gave me a courtesy call just before coming over. He came and fixed the problem right away (looks like the main circuit breaker just tripped...oops..). He spent the time to make sure that that was the only problem and checked our panels to let me know their conditions. He said the panels are old but are still in good shape, so there's no need to change them. I appreciate his honesty because he didn't try to even sell me any additional work. Since this was a simple problem, Jason felt bad about charging me $150 minimum fee (which I was okay with paying since he did advise me of it in the first place) so instead he charged me less and advised me that he will not charge me the next time I have to call him to come out. A few years back I had a huge 85amp kiln wired in my garage. Yesterday it shorted out and created black smoke marks all around the box. The electrian's card was pasted on the box, but I had second thoughts about the company so, thank God for Yelp! Jason was able to come right out. He quickly surveyed the problem. The original electrian had the wrong size connector. But it didn't stop there. He had put in 60 amp wiring, brought two wires into the same sub-box (apparently very wrong), used too small of a size box... the list went on. Jason was able to rewire the entire setup and I reran my kiln 7 hours later. Jason is a great communicator, honest, reliable, fair price, and he IS the business. Some large companies send out unqualified workers and do not inspect the work... I can't believe I almost burnt the house down. read more

I highly highly recommend All Phase Electric! I contacted this business to get an estimate for a sub-panel upgrade and also contacted another electrician for an estimate. Jason gave me an up-front pricing for a sub-panel upgrade and based on my research his quote is around the same range that a typical sub-panel upgrade would cost. The other contractor who came to my house gave me a higher cost and not only that, he also suggested that I upgrade my main panel. I contacted Jason and asked him if he agrees that I needed to upgrade my main panel but he told me that he does not think that it's needed based on the information that I gave him about our use of electricity. I decided to just go ahead and hire Jason and set up the appointment with him. On the day of the appointment Jason and his assistant (his son?) came on time and they were nice enough to wear booties so that our floors don't get dirty. They were both friendly, professional, and they gladly answered all my questions. There were some extra work that they did but Jason did not charge me for it so that's another level of customer service that they provide that I was pleasantly surprised. I believe that Jason provides excellent work, gives excellent customer service, and is someone you can trust. I'll be using their service again for any electrical work in the future.
