it's never an easy time and between all California cremation centers of California and the Board And Care facility. They took care of everything. I'm a plane flight or 10 hours drive away. They advised I get the death certificates in person from the county clerk office when I was trying to see about getting them sooner rather than later, and that was a success. I am so grateful for the excellent team at All California Cremations. They were one of the companies recommended by the hospice and I saw the positive reviews on Yelp so I called. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful, particularly Jazmin, who helped me after both of my parents died within three days of each other. All of the paperwork was handled online (which I prefer) and I was able to call with any questions. Jazmin was very kind and sensitive. She made sure I knew what was happening throughout the process and offered helpful options for keeping my parents together, even in death. She was very buttoned up and detailed. I'm giving two stars only because, in the end, they did everything they were supposed to and for the kindness of employee Yaquelin Welch, who was always sympathetic, and responsive. Otherwise, the service was so disappointing. This is especially bad when your heart is heavy with grief and you're under unbelievable stress. First of all, I was told I could bring clothes in for my beloved to be cremated in (they said they wouldn't dress him, but would drape the clothes over him). I carefully chose some items that had great sentimental value. It didn't matter because, in the end, no one even told me my husband was cremated. It was only after ME calling several times (and being told someone would call me back which never happened), did I discover he'd been cremated about a week before--with absolutely no notification to me. I had to keep after them to retrieve his ashes. Again, always incumbent on me to call--and often--I had to leave messages and then no one would call back (with the exception of Yaquelin). Same issue with the death certificates I ordered. I only got them through ME calling many times with the same communication issues that I could get a result. The most egregious thing though, was not bothering to even let me know my my beloved was being cremated (I wanted to be present, but they told me there was an $800 charge for that!). I would avoid this particular vendor. read more

My Dad was in hospice care for about a week.  As his time approached we realized we didn't have a plan for him...we knew he wanted to be cremated but we didn't know who to call.  One of the RN's recommended All California Cremation and I'm so glad they did! The first thing I learned is that there are two ways to approach cremation:  1.  Go through a funeral home that offers extra services like viewings, memorial services, burial, etc.  2.  Use a company that specializes in no-frills cremations at half the price.   Since Dad would not want an expensive, full-service cremation we decided to call All California.  We started by filling out a brief questionnaire online to specify our needs.  Shortly after submission we received a phone call and the process began.  Literally, there was not much that needed to be done.  When Dad passed away, hospice called All California.  They sent a nice gentleman to pick up his body.  Two weeks later Dad was cremated and his ashes were available for pick up.  All California completes the necessary paperwork with the state, and provides up to 5 originals of the death certificate.   I wish we had the foresight to arrange this in advance, but we didn't.  Thank goodness for All California for handling things so quickly, kindly and gently.   So grateful for the wonderful service and care! read more

They picked my dad up on December 28th. It's was $995 that quickly turned into $1803.00!! I had to call and call and call for them to do their dang job. Terrible service! "The phone went down, so sorry". Yeah sure. I've heard that for 3 weeks. They can't blame the phones that much and not fix them! I literally called and they would then do what they should have done days prior WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH THEM. We FINALLY received my dad on January 30th. The death certs came 9 days later. They told me everything should happen fairly quick and I should expect him back in 10 days or so. This place is awful. Btw they charge $250 to ship. I worked in cremation for almost 8 years. It's $35 to ship. They are liars and they milk your pocket at a very vulnerable time. Many places are like this tho so I wish you luck. If you are ready this far then your heart is broken too or will be sooner. My condolences to you. read more

When my 94 year old mother entered hospice care, we were asked to select an agency to take care of her when she died. Emotionally this was tough especially since we didn't know how long it would be. California Cremation had online forms which were fairly easy to fill out and contacted us quickly for followup when some changes needed to be made. When my mom died after 3 months in hospice care, they were there within a few hours to pick up her body and cremation took place within 2 weeks. The pickup of her ashes was easy and the staff was polite and easy to talk to both in person and on the phone. I only received one phone call from them during the process, it was to explain their services and to pay for the cremation. I am beside myself right now. My brother passed away on January 6th 2022, and was taken to this establishment to be creamated. It is now February 23rd 2022 and to my knowledge my brother has NOT been cremated and I am not sure where he is, OR what is going on. I called yesterday and spoke with Tina to see what was the latest update on my brother's creamation. For some reason she couldn't locate my brother's "file" and she stated she would call me "right back"; that was 1:30 in the afternoon on the 22nd of February, it is now 11:30 a.m. on February 23rd. I have placed ANOTHER call at 8:30 am today, AND left ANOTHER message without anyone calling me back. I paid in full completed all the forms and everything was set to take place. I understand that there is a pandemic going on and there are other families that have deceased members at this facility.
