I opted in for credit for one service and then refund the rest. Well it was never refunded to my care credit account. I called several times and they said it was resolved it was not on the care credits side. This was about 3 years ago. I will be going there soon for a check up and hope to resolve this. However it looks like this is a pattern so just double check your bill and the billing codes when you go. Otherwise good quality dentists and assistants.

As I'm newer in town when making my appointment they said they took my insurance, could fit me in over my lunch hour, and I thought everything would be peachy keen. WRONG-O! I got to the office, gave them my insurance card, filled out the paperwork, and while the receptionist said they would check on my insurance the dental hygienist (Wendy) said I could come back. I looked to the front desk ladies for the A-Ok on their end to go back and they said nothing so I headed back. Early on I realized that this was going to take a lot longer than I expected as Wendy seemed to be off in never-never-land. She was taking forever...alright, I'm just going to say it...sometimes technology makes things harder, more complicated, and more involved than it need to be. Yes, they did have TVs in the ceiling to keep patients entertained, but I wouldn't need to be entertained if she did her job in the efficient and timely matter that she should have! Then the dentist came in and talked to me for like 10 minutes! Cool you might think as most dentists only come in a give a quick OK or we need to see you back in here for this or that, but I couldn't take him seriously as he talked with no conviction I was thinking "Are you REALLY a dentist or just a stunt double?" After the dentist finally stopped talking quietly (to himself it almost seemed) and my time in the office ticked to over an hour, Wendy came back in a said the ladies upfront finally got around to checking on my insurance and it turns out they DON'T take it like they said...or rather didn't say before they let me be seen by their office. At this point I was sooooo frustrated! I talked to the billing person on my way out who gave me a discounted rated because of the misunderstanding and I was livid saying "I would have never come here if I had known you didn't take my insurance. When I called to make my appointment you guys said you took it. I have dental insurance for a reason!" I told them to bill me and now am dealing with the back end of a stupid mistake at the front end. If they had any accountability as a business they would verify a patient's insurance before they are seen. All I can say is DO NOT GO HERE!

Matt greeted me promptly at 7:00 a.m. and prepped me, always his usual, courteous yet friendly self. His administration of novocaine was painless and he explained and double checked the procedure. Dr. D. then did the same, explaining each step as we went along while both he and his assistant kept me well rinsed and as comfortable as possible throughout. Visual scans confirmed everything that had been done and any questions I had were answered quickly and expertly. I have had some traumatic dental experiences in the past elsewhere, so was slightly hesitant going in. My family of 4 has been seeing the team at Parkway Dental for over a decade, though, so I know firsthand that they are beyond competent. They actually CARE about their patients. At no time did I feel unsafe or uncared for. I was even given a lovely fleece blanket that proved to be a great calming agent.
