I've had a great experience with this clinic up until today. The staff and vet techs are always kind, and the environment is welcoming--my wife especially likes coming here. However, I'm really disappointed with how today was handled. My dog was spayed just 22 days ago, and we brought her in due to discharge when she urinates. I assumed this would fall under a recheck, but instead we were charged $75 for the exam (not even the usual $45), and the total visit ended up costing over $200. After already spending over $1,000 on the surgery, this felt excessive and honestly like we were being taken advantage of. Situations like this should be handled with more understanding and consideration--especially when it's related to a recent procedure they performed. To make matters worse, our regular doctor wasn't there (on vacation), and we were seen by a temporary vet, which made the experience feel even less personal. I still appreciate the kindness of the staff, but this experience left a bad impression. I have been coming to this vet since 2019 and I love them all so much! First things first, my 2 dogs are big poop heads and I can put my ego to the side to admit that. My senior dog is human aggressive and it stems from her being scared. Dr. Sanders and the nurses know that and take all the proper measures to still see and treat her with nobody getting hurt. (PSA she is put on anxiety meds prior to her vet appts to make all our lives easier) Despite how difficult she can be I have never felt judged when taking her. I only trust them with Lola and I can't imagine going anywhere else. They get things done and do it so flawlessly! Thank you for what you said, however it wasn't my experience, the attitude, tone and overall aggression towards me was not as kind as your reply. But I understand, was on time for my appointment but I was told she needed my dog current shot records and rabies so I had to go to her regular veterinarian and picked them up. When I got back it was 30minutes later.. That's when she told me to come back and then said to ensure my appointment I had to pay in full for services that I didn't know she would. Then she added that I would No longer receive the first time discount cause my dog had issues. We have a veterinarian my dog is current on everything. I was in the area I live nearby and just thought I give you guys a try and get a second option regarding my dogs separation anxiety issues. But she is well and we chose to stay where we've been for years. I was 10 minutes late coming from the Tehachapi area. (An hour and a half drive) the staff there had a meeting they had to start - and luckily they were kind enough to check my dog in. I decided to come here because, out of all the clinics I called around Kern County this was the best customer service I received over the phone to book an appointment and there reviews say a lot. I have a Neapolitan Mastiff 8 months 130 lbs and he can be tricky to deal with. They were ALL great! Dr Sanders assessed my dog and came up with a plan to treat a bad rash my puppy got. I usually visit a place twice before posting a review but this is a vet, and this was urgent. I'm so thankful this clinic was open on a Sunday. My tortoise Chela got into some pencil cactus (toxic to humans, dogs, & apparently tortoises) and got sick. Her eyes were swollen shut. I called 4 different places; nobody could help. All Care Pet Clinic answered my call (on a Sunday) and booked me an appointment for the following morning 9am. They informed me about the price and about additional charges if any. That was helpful. We went; she was checked, given a shot, had her eyes flushed out, medication provided, and we were on our way. They informed me of the price before doing anything. (That was good because in the moment, I was too stressed to think of asking.) You could see the relief in my tortoise almost immediately. 3 days later, she was back to normal. I'm so grateful to All Care Pet Clinic. They were kind, knowledgeable, flexible hours, reasonable prices, and were COVID safe. They called to check on my tortoise & provided useful information. I would highly recommend all care pet clinic. They are the most affordable vet to get a male chinchilla neutered and their prices for everything are extremely competitive. With the low prices comes amazing care as well, you can feel how much each employee loves animals. Rest assured they will take good care of your pet. I had 3 male chinchillas neutered here and the vet even texted me the next day to check in on them. Be advised they will not spay female chinchillas. The cost to neuter was a $55 exam where they make sure your chinchilla is mature enough to neuter then I believe $140 as the base cost with $50 in recommended meds. It came out to $207 per chinchilla + 55$ exam fee. While my chinchillas were under they even clipped their nails and inspected their ears, free of charge! They even got me half off the exam fees for all 3 chinchillas. I live far away and the staff kept my chinchillas overnight after their initial appointment for surgery the next day, free of charge! We brought Penny here due to our last vet being rude and inconsiderate. The staff here are so caring and friendly, Penng loves coming here. They all talk to by name and treat you as a patient not just another number. Due to Covid you wait in your car and they will come out to get you once you call and check in, the staff is all wearing masks and you don't have to leave to vehicle at all. I should have called but I didn't. Mind you I've been a client since 2017 and today I was also picking up my dogs urn from my last visit here 2 weeks ago. I understand they have limited staffing due to covid because I've also worked 14 days straight without a break because half my staff is also out. I called back to get an appointment and when I asked for the time being open I got a bit of an attitude ,I ended up rescheduling on my possible next day off and she advised shed throw in a free nail trim maybe to compensate for the attitude or inconvenience(her nails just got trimmed at the groomers this morning)I asked if there was any way to take me in today and she said no I'm leaving in 30 minutes(I was still at the parking lot with hopes). I really want to continue taking my dog here because I loved their service but today I felt very unwelcomed and kind of hurt due to it being the date of picking up my other dogs remains. I wish I could give no stars to this place. I took my beloved dog named Roxy there last year for a routine teeth cleaning. She was 11 years old at the time. Her health was in excellent condition for a dog her age as my partner and I took very good care of her. She was a dear part of our family as all of you pet lovers here feel about your pets. Roxy was a Staffordshire terrier and one of the smartest dogs I have ever owned. I mean exceptionally intelligent...like closing doors with her paws on command, or pushing the button for me on my iRobot vacuum cleaner. Unfortunately we took her to this vet to get her teeth cleaned. First they presented us with 2 estimates ranging from $800 to possibly $1800.00 in case they had to pull a tooth or whatever else they could charge us for. We opted to have her teeth cleaned and when we got her home she was pretty lethargic...which does happen sometimes until the pet comes completely out of the anesthesia. Well the next day, Roxy was still very lethargic. We waited to see if there was any improvement before calling this pet clinic back. On the third day,Roxy was still lethargic and my spouse called them to ask them what was going on. Of course they didn't have an explanation and said we should bring her in for more tests... which meant of course more money for them. Well we didn't even want to go back there for anything at that point...besides the damage had been done. I surmise because she was a senior dog, they probably gave her too much anesthesia or wasn't monitoring her correctly. But shortly afterwards her brain was not the same and she progressively declined into full blown dementia. Roxy was not the same dog when we picked her up from this place. After about a year and in her final stage of dementia, it was time to put her down. All Pet Care Clinic has the nerve to keep sending me emails advertising and saying to bring Roxy back for her teeth check up. Well Roxy is no longer here because or your neglect doctor or whatever vet tech you may have let administer anesthesia for a senior dog. So stop sending me your advertisements for services. If there are some good vet vets out there who actually love and care about animals, then God bless you and this is not for you. But you money-grubbing vets who call yourselves doctors should be ashamed of yourselves. Most of you don't give a damn about the animals you treat. They are simply a way for you to make big money and profit off of pet owners' grief and vulnerability. You think we are not of aware of what you are doing? We are at the mercy of some of you and your tactics. My friends and I have spent obscene amounts of money on procedures, some of which were unnecessary and often detrimental to the pet. Sometimes our beloved pets are at the end of their lives and to be talked into extremely expensive and ridiculous surgeries by vets that won't necessarily prolong their lives is unethical. These pets are living beings, who some of you vets will just let die if some people can't pay your outrageous fees. There are those of us who can afford it and are are willing to pay almost any amount to save our pets, but it still does not make it right. You are no better than sleazy car mechanics, sleazy attorneys, salesmen..etc. Only these animals are not inanimate cars. They are God's precious creatures just like we are and they deserve to be loved and taken care of and saved by us and especially by you veterinarians who took oaths to do no harm. Oh and please send your often-rude receptionists to customer care classes. I wrote this long review in honor of Roxy and to maybe help others. Simple the best! My little biscuit had been suffering from itchy, scaly blisters for 3 months. Previously visited a different vet who gave him medication that didn't work. The vet at that time couldn't tell me what was wrong. He said it was "ringworm" , and after some pricey tests It turned out it wasn't. I was out here visiting my parents in the antelope valley when my dog got a really bad cough. She sounded like she was coughing up a hairball but it was pretty scary. Being they it was the day after Thanksgiving, I was worried that nothing would be open. Plus I didn't have ANY of her documentation such as previous vaccines and whatnot. I called All Care Pet Clinic and they scheduled me to come in that day at 4pm! Since I didn't have proof of rabies shot work me, they asked for me to wait in the car until a room opened up. I didn't mind this at all, in fact it reassured me at the precautions they take for the well being of the other animals and people. Everyone was incredibly nice. One of the nurses came out to the car so we could fill out paperwork. Dr. Sanders and the nurse were so nice to us and my dog too. We left with a full game plan and medications. The dr told me she would not refill an insulin prescription that my dog needs to survive without having ridiculous amounts of tests that have NOTHING to do with her diabetes! They already charged me thousands of dollars to figure out what was wrong with her and they FINALLY figured it out! I asked what do I do just let her die without insulin and she pretty much said yes! What veterinarian that actually cares about our animals would say that. I need to find the caring veterinarian that used to work here. I called here in a panic on a Saturday morning, our water turtle's eyes had swollen shut over night. I explained to the receptionist I lived 90 minutes away and could not find any other vet that saw turtles. She got us in that day! I was expecting a same day emergency visit to break the bank, nope not here! The exotic animal vet and her assistant were great! The vet fixed my turtle right up and showed us how to give the injections at home, so we wouldn't have to drive that way 4 more times, but did offer the option of bringing him in to do the injections. By far this is the best vet we have found in the antelope valley. The providers are truly caring and sensitive to your needs. We were happy that they even had Sunday hours! I especially appreciated that the waiting area is pristine! Even though I am a pet lover, I have animal hair allergies and because they vacuum often throughout the day, I had no reactions while briefly waiting our turn. Once in the exam room, Dr. Chandler listened patiently to what I had to say and shared her professional opinion. Before they proceeded further, they clearly and in writing informed me of the cost of treatment, and afterwards implemented it and then explained the follow-up I needed to do in detail. I really appreciated the after-care phone calls that day and during the week ahead as it showed their interest in my pet's recovery. I was scheduled for a follow-up in 7 day and it was only $15, well worth it. I have since transferred my dog's medical records to All Care Pet Clinic. They are truly worth it. I would leave no stars if I could. I went to this vet for almost 2 years and I am SO HAPPY I FINALLY LEFT. All Care Pet Clinic is a joke! They were very friendly and sweet with my pets so I stayed a while, but the prices were outrageous. AND come to find out, they are not well-trained veterinarians in the least. I brought my dog in months back for a growth on his back and they told me it was cosmetic! They said there was no need to remove it, just to keep an eye on it. Then I went to a REAL VETERINARIAN and discovered it was actually a teratoma which is cancerous! They endangered my dog. They didn't care to biopsy the growth or investigate any further. My new vet removed the growth and seemed truly shocked that All Care Pet Clinic was not concerned about the growth. All Care Pet Clinic left a tumor on my baby and could've let him die. Being concern that he is not doing well I reviewed all of my pets medical care from All Care and that a urinalysis identified this problem in 2013,I don't understand why the treating Vet did not discuss the problem and most important provide surgery at that time or send me to a hospital that could perform the surgery. Now my dear little pet had a major surgy, wearing a catheter and the stitches were not healing properly so they were removed and new ones put in. I took my cat here because he was very sick. The vet diagnosed him with pancreatitis and she advised me to change his food and said that should make him better. Despite the special diet, he continued to get worse and we found ourselves back at the vet again. This time we were referred to a different place for hospitalization. The new vet was the one that finally diagnosed him with a cancerous tumor. What a shame that someone else had to do their job. We could have avoided a lot of suffering and expense if we had received the correct diagnosis in the first place. ACPC was our vet for five years, but they now seem to exist merely for vaccinations and selling products. When our dog was choking and coughing over Memorial Day weekend, we discovered they no longer have an emergency line -- nor will they even refer you to another vet. When I was finally able to schedule an appointment, I was told it would be THREE WEEKS before our vet could see him and to call someplace else. Now, once again, the dog has bronchitis and we're being given a TWO WEEK wait to see the vet--even though the dog is already in there to receive a vaccination booster. Honestly, we're done. Fun times...I've come here a couple of times because they were the only place open I've held back on writing reviews because the other times weren't as big of an issue, but not today. I'm giving one star simply because it's required. We moved to Palmdale about 8 months ago from Simi Valley where we had an awesome vet, but obviously to avoid having to drive I called this place today because our cat somehow broke his back nail in half down to the nerve so we wanted to see if we could bring him in. The girl on the phone told us not to come in because they were going to have to refer us out because he was going to need surgery to REMOVE the claw completely and that we needed to go directly to the emergency vet (don't get me started on this place because I've had a separate horrible experience there) Needless to say my husband and I made the trek to our vet in Simi who simply trimmed all his nails, clipped the broken one where it was hanging and sent us home with antibiotics and special litter until it fully heals. Luckily our little guy is just going to be a little sore and will NOT need to have his entire claw removed. Ridiculous. Don't go here. read more

I had a turtle that had issue with his "private area"-if you know what I mean. lol Anyways when I was in the room, the Vet knew right away of my concern of my male turtle. I thought it was serious issue but it turn out it was just a scab mark on his private area. I was recommended antibiotics for him. The price seemed reasonable to pay. It is sad to see we are not the only people who fell victim to this unethical business and their practice. Just like all the prior negative yelp comments, they constantly misdiagnose your animal and then recommend unnecessary testing and medication. Then when you come for a check-up and the problem is not resolved, they expect you to pay for further diagnostic procedures and medication. How do you misdiagnose so often (4 times in a row for us, let alone all the yelp comments) and still have your license? Yes, I am very upset about the unnecessary financial burden that that ordeal has caused because of their incompetent. Instead of kids, my husband and I chose to adopt a menagerie of furbehbehs. And because we are slightly masochistic, we tend to pick out the little gimpy ones. Since moving to Palmdale, we've been taking our wee ones to All Care Pet Clinic. We have come to know the folks at All Care quite well and, without a doubt, highly recommend them. Dr. Sanders and Dr. Chandler are both extremely caring and freakishly knowledgeable. Not only do they know what they're talking about, they give you ALL of your options - from the "let's wait, watch, and evaluate" to "I can refer you to a pet physical therapist and an acupuncturist." They will tell you what they feel to be the correct course of treatment; however, they'll also support you if you decide to go off the deep end and get your pet Reiki massage with healing kundalini crystals. I've been reading through some of the bad reviews and am saddened to see that people have not been pleased with their service. I'd like to leave a little feedback about our experiences: COST - While some procedures can be costly, I can tell ya from personal experience that they are NOT overpriced. They were far more reasonable than our previous vet in the Valley. We haven't been upsold for or pressured to treat any of our pets. The only services they push are the requisite vaccines. However, if you come in with an issue, it can get expensive. Is this an anomaly? No. ALL veterinary specialty care can be be pricey. If you don't know this, then you've been incredibly lucky to have healthy animals. As I alluded to earlier, we were blessed to have found a gorgeous Border Collie mix at a shelter about 8 years ago; however, she came to us with hip dysplasia. Over the years she developed kidney issues and a degenerative nerve disease. Her care was pricey (sweet jaysus was it). That being said, we were given options for care and it was OUR CHOICE to go the route we did. Because of Dr. Sanders and her excellent care, we were able to have 6 more months with our sweet girl. For that we will be eternally grateful. THE WAIT - This one ain't no joke. You may have to wait. Most of the time it's 10-15 minutes, but there was a time when we had to wait almost an hour. Why? Because they're tending to emergencies. We were always ABSOLUTELY okay with that (I kept thinking of the poor animal and family who had to take the appt time), but they will give you the option to reschedule. MISDIAGNOSIS - I can't even imagine how heartbreaking it'd be to have my furbehbeh misdiagnosed. I know it's bound to happen. Vets are looking to us to give them feedback on our pets behavior and not all symptoms are apparent. We, as owners, can only try to make educated guesses on who to trust for our animals' care. When I was doing research, it mattered to me that Drs Sanders and Chandler were alumnae of UC Davis - the #1 vet school in the U.S., but ya'll need to go with your gut on this one. CARE - All Care Pet Clinic provides excellent care. They do. They are compassionate and loving towards all of the adorable pups and kittehs that come into the office. How many vets do you know who will sit with you and your pup on the floor to calm worried nerves. We had many an anxious conversation with Dr. Sanders on the floors of those offices. The office staff is great too, we ALWAYS got a follow-up call the next day from Lupe or Jessica. Jessica is THE NICEST person, while Lupe is the no-nonsense sassy one. And Victoria is our angel (don't even get me started on her - she's awesome). To finish up the longest Yelp review in the world, we owe a lifetime of gratitude to Dr. Sanders and Victoria. When it was time to put our sweet baby girl to sleep, they helped us through one of the most difficult moments of our lives. Words cannot express. I brought my bunny here a few months ago to be fixed. I brought him all the way out to All Care Pet Clinic from DTLA because they have GREAT prices and I was referred by a friend. It cost me under $100 to get my bunny fixed PLUS his medication. They treated my bunny as if he was their own and that made me feel so much better about me leaving my bunny in their care. When i picked him up they kept telling me how good he was and that he didn't try to bite them and how much they loved him. That also made me feel really happy, because like any pet..they are like your children. I will come back here in the future and recommend them to people in the future. I would give a negative 5 star if I could. I called one day to make appointment...... no answer! drive in to be told to come back 4 hours later for a health cert during open clinic hours. Came back for an "appointment" only to have to wait another hour to be seen. Won't honor prescriptions from other veterinarians unless they get to charge you for an exam. Tried telling me it's federal law they have to see you to give prescriptions.....lie. Doctors can at their discretion give prescriptions over phone. read more

They are open 7 days a week and they fit Scooby in Sunday at 5:30. He had an ear infection. The Dr. was very attentive and took her time with us. Nothing but positives. Even received a call this morning (the next day) to ask how Scooby was doing and if I have any questions. Would highly recommend. My fur babies deserve the best care. read more
