He did a bit more investigation however and said he really didn't think it was gophers but instead possibly skunks or raccoons. Absolutely TERRIBLE SERVICE!! First, the technician who…read morecame to complete the inspection for the property provided a quote for the entire building to the owner and tenants. On the day of appointment, they didn't have us scheduled. Then they made adjustments to have Dax come for our appointment, since he completed the inspection and provided the quote. Once he started to do the work, he changed the price at the day of the appointment because he said to the office that he didn't give a quote for the entire building, although 3 separate tenants including the owner was given this price. There wasn't any contract or invoice sent over prior to the appointment, so this displayed faulty business. Secondly, the guys left cement residue on my outdoor mat which demonstrated the lack of care to the customers property. I informed the owner about this and he got very rude and disrespectful about the pricing issue mentioned above when that wasn't our problem. It was the technician Dax who didn't provide us with an accurate quote to be hired for the job. Lastly, the issue that was shared was in the ceiling. Dax advised that the outdoor soil needed to be treated first before they could assess the indoor ceiling issue. This didn't make any sense to me but we obliged to have the soil treated first. Well, less than 7 DAYS, the ceiling issue is back !! I informed Jason about this, and he mentioned that they couldn't come back until the full balance has been covered. Although, this was the main reason why they were hired and should have assessed the ceiling first, they are choosing to have us pay for a service that wasn't completed since the pest issue has reappeared less than 7 DAYS again!! Absolutely TERRIBLE and bad business!!

He blamed me for various things like questioning why he wanted our crawl space 100% open during his trapping. He lied and said he removed and reset traps when he did not. I was home on the days he said he was there, my dog barks, and I checked the trap several times a day. This guy simply was lying about resetting the trap. He abandoned our house completely for 13 days. After a skunk sprayed under our house a second time while Daddys Pest Control was supposedly helping me with the problem, the smell was so bad we couldn't be in half our house for 3 days. I fired him. I hired a much better trapper who in less than 24 hours trapped and removed the skunk for half the price. Basically I paid this man $500 to do nothing, and a different guy $250 to trap and remove a skunk. 2 stars for his responsiveness to the first call and coming out to get the first $500 check and set a trap two or three times with cat food that caught a possum that was not the problem. Zero stars on actually doing what we needed him to do. A competent trapper getting the job done quickly with 24 hours of firing Daddy's Pest Control is all you need to know. He might be great for ants or bugs, but look elsewhere for bigger pests like skunks or rats. I am not trying to kill anyone's livelihood here, but this man is definitely not your guy for skunks or rats.

Unfortunately this is the experience I had with Daddy's Pest Control. I made the stupid mistake of hiring them a second time for a rat problem after having a pretty lackluster experience with them the first time. I understand that there are issues with my unit but that does NOT excuse the terrible customer service and followup received by this company! My tenants found a dead rat from one of the traps that was set but like the previous reviewer said, they did not come back in a reasonable time period which lead to maggots. The number of excuses for not showing up are endless, "we were on vacation last week," "I'm currently out of town,". I paid for 4 visits but due to the awful customer service and followup, I had to request a refund for the last visit. Over $700+ pretty much down the drain. Got the feeling and vibe that once the money is received, you're sent to the bottom of the priority list and it's onto the next customer.  Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones and have an experience like the 4-5 stars reviews on here. Just be aware, you've been warned, don't be surprised if you have an experience like mine and the other 1 star reviews.... If you're desperate enough, I would highly recommend paying for services on a per visit basis and/or use your credit card in case services aren't up to par/expectations.

Since we've been doing this service the amount of ants we get has drastically reduced. Used to get them on a daily basis in the summer and now they only pop up once in a while, I quickly and easily arrange the service and the bugs don't come around for a long time. Traditionally bug sprays and deterrents you buy at the store weren't working for our house in North Torrance which is notorious for ants. Thankful to have the service as I'd previously have to clean the house a lot and make sure there wasn't a spec of food out or accidentally dropped on the floor. Couldn't even leave food in the cupboards, had to have it all in the fridge all summer long before. We also used to get cockaroaches on a weekly basis but since we've started the quarterly cleaning service, I haven't seen a single one in almost 2 years. I love how quick and easy the service is because a lot of times when professionals come to service the house you have to clear your whole day, interrupting your work or whatever you are doing. Dennis and his team get in and out with minimal disruption and make maintaining my house easier. They do a good job!

As an animal lover, I was looking for a company that would humanely capture and relocate these guys. Matt answered my call right away and got someone out within a few hours! What we initially thought was 3 skunks, turned to be at least 6. Shad came by and placed traps for us (shout out to Shad!) and we caught one the next evening. I called the next morning and Mike came by to remove skunk #1. Later that evening we caught another, and shad came the next morning. Last evening, we caught 3!!! And back came Shad. Once we get all of them out, we are going to demolish the shed where they have been nesting. Luckily breeding season just ended so we're hopeful none return until next year.
