Absolutely TERRIBLE SERVICE!! First, the technician who came to complete the inspection for the property provided a quote for the entire building to the owner and tenants. On the day of appointment, they didn't have us scheduled. Then they made adjustments to have Dax come for our appointment, since he completed the inspection and provided the quote. Once he started to do the work, he changed the price at the day of the appointment because he said to the office that he didn't give a quote for the entire building, although 3 separate tenants including the owner was given this price. There wasn't any contract or invoice sent over prior to the appointment, so this displayed faulty business. Secondly, the guys left cement residue on my outdoor mat which demonstrated the lack of care to the customers property. I informed the owner about this and he got very rude and disrespectful about the pricing issue mentioned above when that wasn't our problem. It was the technician Dax who didn't provide us with an accurate quote to be hired for the job. Lastly, the issue that was shared was in the ceiling. Dax advised that the outdoor soil needed to be treated first before they could assess the indoor ceiling issue. This didn't make any sense to me but we obliged to have the soil treated first. Well, less than 7 DAYS, the ceiling issue is back !! I informed Jason about this, and he mentioned that they couldn't come back until the full balance has been covered. Although, this was the main reason why they were hired and should have assessed the ceiling first, they are choosing to have us pay for a service that wasn't completed since the pest issue has reappeared less than 7 DAYS again!! The staff were easy to deal with on the phone. Styke Pest Control gave us a good price to fumigate our home for Termites, 1/2 of what the big "T" company quoted. Jason the owner was responsive and his guys made the repairs for the wood-rot, so it was super turn-key. His entire team was helpful. The only issue we ran into was that our keyless entry lock hasn't functioned correctly since. They have to remove the batteries in order to keep humans out. It's minor, but I wish we had discussed a different solution, but that is more of an FYI for people with keyless door lock, because no one can have access whilst the property is tented. Jason came out and walked to the backyard and he immediately spotted evidence of termite damage to the patio wood. None of the other companies noticed it. Jason is very knowledgeable and he explained the process for dealing with the termites and the type of chemical he would use. The estimate was really reasonable (and lower that any of the other companies). The day of the treatment, Jason got things set up and John completed the process. John was professional and he explained how the termites live underground and the signs that the termites had been present for several years. I appreciate that 1st Stryke charged one fee for several visits and reported back with photos and pre-visit text messages. Also, they provided photos of where openings were around the house and a quote for sealing the holes. I strongly recommend moving forward with both traps and sealing of openings or the same issue will repeat itself. If the openings are easy to reach you can seal them yourself as well. What a great company. We moved into a place that had roaches. Never in our life had we experienced such misery. Very persistent bugs. We had 2 different guys come out. I know one was Bob. Not sure who the first guy was. They were both really nice. Had to leave for 4 hours each time while the place was sprayed. We started to see dead roaches after a few days. We had a problem with rats in the attic and a previous exterminator couldn't find where they were getting in. Then we contacted 1st Stryke, and Jason and his team came and examined the property, including the roof. They found one opening and repaired it, but rats were still getting in. Their contract included a certain number of visits to trap the rats, but they kept coming back to help. Finally Jason crawled all through the attic and found an open pipe from an old remodel and suspected that was the problem. We had the pipe fixed, and so far, so good.
