Animal Capture is absolutely the best out there. Jeremy and Ben could not have provided any better support during a definite time of need. They explained everything in as much detail as I wanted and answered all of my questions. They checked up with me everyday and needed to come out twice: once for an opossum and once for a racoon. They provided suggestions for entry points around the house. Very importantly, once it was called all clear for animals, Ben went under the house and thoroughly checked it all out so that I could close up the vent that was completely pulled out of the opening. Jeremy does amazing work! Imagine my surprise walking into my garage storage unit to find a large black and white creature scuttling around. I quickly shut the door behind me and reached out to LA County Department of Animal Care and Control only to find out that they don't come out to remove live animals. I then got on Yelp and reached out to Jeremy who responded immediately on the phone and was on his way within 2 hours. He explained to me exactly what he was going to do and what I can expect. Within 10 minutes, Jeremy had the skunk trapped in a cage and was on their way. This was definitely not something I could've waited on as the animal was in a space that my family, including young children, needed access to. Requested service since there was an awful smell in my hallway and I wasn't sure what it was. Technician said it was the smell of dead rodent. He went under the house to see if he could find anything and he didn't. Then came inside the house to see if he could find anything and he was not able to. Technician said it was most likely dead in wall of the area where the odor was coming from. Had to pay the $200 service call fee even though he couldn't find the dead rodent. He advised me to use a dead animal odor eliminator and said the smell would be gone within two weeks. Technician was very professional and kind. read more

Very happy with this company from start to finish. Jeremy was very communicative since the first phone call. Ben, came out to place the raccoon traps. We were seeing a raccoon on our roof going in and out. Ben was very thorough in inspecting the area and could even see the tiny paw prints where the raccoon was entering. One day, a funky smell started emanating from a corner of my home. We have a crawl space underneath and so the guess was that some type of animal died under there. Wanting to get this matter addressed quickly, I called around to see if this issue could get attended to sooner rather than later. A few businesses I called wouldn't have availability until 1-2 days later. Thinking that was that, I made one last Hail Mary call to Jeremy at Animal Capture, who coincidentally, was in my neighborhood and could swing by. In the phone call, Jeremy was transparent with the cost for the inspection and what the process would be. I accepted the terms and Jeremy messaged me about 10 minutes prior to his arrival so I could prepare for his visit. Jeremy did a look around the house to see if there were any entry points and then went inside the house to get a whiff of the smell. He confirmed that something died under the home and mentioned that it might be a rat due to the small opening of any entry points observed on the outside. Jeremy proceeded to put on coveralls and down the house he went. I really liked that he also recorded what it was like underneath and although he didn't find the dead animal, he did say that if worse comes to worse, we could rip out the floorboards to get to it (the original owners of the home and/or the builders had constructed multi level flooring and Jeremy suspected a rat had gone into one of the spaces and died). Jeremy advised that we wait 1-2 weeks for nature to do its thing and the smell will go away. He also gave me some tips on securing entry points with expanding foam and how to dispense it. Overall, Jeremy helped provide some assurances and restore the quality of life. I would definitely recommend Jeremy for any instances of animal control and disposal. read more

These guys came to the rescue. We caught a possum last night and contacted Jeremy at 6:30 this morning. They were here by 8:00! Transferred momma possum and her babies into their cage then off to a better home in the mountains. We have toddlers in the home so possum droppings and fleas are not something I need right now. Had our house tented last week for termites. Apparently, a large skunk under our house was killed during fumigation. 3 days ago could smell skunk but didn't know origin. We have had skunks around our neighborhood for years. Smell seemed to be dissipating, but today it got stronger, so I called Jeremy. He got back to me and said they could take care of it in a few hours. I was impressed. Ben, his partner, showed up and as soon as he was on my driveway, he knew it was a dead skunk. He looked under the house and located it. He said it was a big skunk, very bloated. He crawled under the house and got it. Said it was fortunate that the skunk hadn't exploded, or it would have been a much bigger problem. Ben also replaced the torn vent screen. He did an excellent job. Wow. Simply Wow! Jeremy and Ben were an absolute pleasure to work with. We contacted them shortly after we purchased our new home in the Hollywood Hills. Sure, living in the hills has its share of wildlife which you can expect, but we certainly did not think we'd be dealing with a skunk infestation problem. I called Animal Wild Life Control as we've been spotting skunks around the property and then saw was go under our house. That couple with the odors we were dealing with on the lower level which sits on top of the crawl space were we spotted the skunk. When we contacted them, we had no idea what type of adventure we were about to embark on, but they came, did the initial inspection, confirmed our issues and set traps. Over the next two weeks it seemed this issue was never going to go away. We had a total of 8 skunks captured that were living under our house, 1 possum and 1 raccoon. But again, both Jeremy and Ben were great to work with. Easy and always prompt. Jeremy even kept tabs on me and in communicaiton while he want on vacation in Hawaii. Talk about serivce. Later, Jeremy also helped hook us up with his guy that does repairs once your wild life issue is resolved. Yes, the total expense was more than we planned, but Jeremy went out of his way to stop by every day, check on the work being done to prevent this from happening again and even helped coordinate payments, etc. I really couldn't have expected to deal with this, but I sure am glad these guys were around to help. I had raccoons living in the crawlspace under my house and a newly landscaped garden that they have been ruining for weeks. I called Jeremy and he was prompt, courteous and set up traps for me. He was very knowledgeable about the situation--pointing out the raccoon markings on my trees, hairs on the open crawlspace vents, etc. The pricing was laid out very clear and at the end he even fixed up the old vents which were broken (how the raccoons got in) and gave me the yelp discount even though I didn't even know about it. I was not pleased to discover a raccoon den behind my hillside water feature. Jeremy was responsive, thoughtful and took extra time to make sure we were able to trap the mama raccoon in order to relocate her with the four babies. Skunks! We had a family of them (adults and at least four babies) under our house last year, but we didn't even know they were there until one of the babies got tragically caught in our pool skimmer. We called a few animal control places, but were not immediately convinced the poor animals would be treated humanely. We were very grateful when they finally moved out on their own. Then, a couple of weeks ago, they came back. Stinkier than ever! We couldn't go through another season of stink, so we called Animal Capture, and they came out the next day to set traps. It's a process, folks. The first night... we caught our own (outdoor) cat. Thankfully, I think she learned her lesson and has not gone near the traps since (even though they are baited with cat food). The next night, we caught a possum, and finally a couple of nights later the first skunk. Ben came out first thing in the morning to remove the skunk (he took the possum away earlier, too). A couple more nights, then another possum. We could still smell the skunks, though, so we knew there were at least two more still under the house (the smell at night reminded us of this). Finally, this morning I went out to find a skunk in one of the traps, and another one, a large adult, digging fervently around the trap, trying to release the caught one. I took a video and sent it off to Jeremy and Ben. Jeremy came out shortly, surprising me with a knock on our back door, and a shout of "Got him!" "Great," I called back. "No," he called, "I got them both!" I stepped out, and there was Jeremy, proudly holding a huge, squirming adult skunk up by the tail, like a prize trout! It had still been digging around the trap when Jeremy arrived, so "I just grabbed him," he said. Two in one visit! We saw another running out the back way before he got there, so we know there's still at least one more, but we are almost skunk-free today, and will be skunk-free soon. I just wanted to post this review because that courageous and foolhardy skunk-grabber Jeremy is my freakin' hero! He and Ben are an awesome team, and will get the job done. Thanks! Can't recommend highly enough. Jeremy answered immediately and came out the same day. Within moments he found where the animal had been getting in/out and identified that it was a raccoon. Set some traps, caught her that night and then identified that that she was a nursing mama and there must be babies too. Crawled under the house and found them in a tight spot but got them all out. After disappointed from a company to trap opossum inside my garage, I called Animal Capture. I told him the situation, and I suspected the opossum may be hiding underneath the garage stair.
