Wasn't expecting to need a tow but when I did and the state trooper called a tow for me the driver was nice, explained the facts that insurance should pay, when they didn't( I no longer use that insurance. I was parked at Ronkonkoma train station a few days and came back to find all 4 wheels and tires gone off my car, Of course it was a Sunday evening. I called AAA and they couldn't tow it since it had no wheels. The call service on my insurance company insisted I did not have a policy...I came back Monday to deal with the car. All County showed up and had all the equipment. They put temporary wheels on the car and got it onto the flatbed. Elmer was amazing! Totally competent and cool. My husband's car was towed by All County Towing & Auto Body (their HUB is at 66 East Merrick Road, Freeport, NY 11520) yesterday. He noted that the driver was a pleasure to deal with, but, YOU WOKE UP OUR ENTIRE FAMILY AT 2:04 AM!!! ... with a text notifying us that his credit card payment was approved. I'm sure all I'll get is a "sorry" (for waking up our kids at 2:04am), so don't bother. You may want to fix the problem before you piss off other people and their families as well. Cannot say enough good things about this place. I was in an accident in June and they towed and fixed my car with no problems. They were very professional and pleasant (I dealt mostly with Mike who was great!). My son had an accident yesterday and I was ripped off. They are trying to blame it on a contract through one of the incorporated villages but the precinct said that the Town of Hempstead Clerk's office governs them despite the contract. They towed my son's car from an accident in RVC and the car wasn't even there for 24 hours but I was charged 613.00 and despite the Town stating that the daily storage rate is 25.00 per day, they charged $50.00 per day. they also charged a pull out fee of 125.00 and labor on a totaled vehicle. I think they are used to ripping off the community and not being challenged on it but I will see you in court All County Towing & Recovery and I am sure that word of mouth reviews about customer dissatisfaction will cost you more than 613.00. I really hope it was worth it! customers should know they have recourse and can file a complaint through the Town of Hempstead or the Better Business Bureau. Anyone read more

The tow truck drivers of this place should go to Driving school. Pulling out of their lot like they own Merrick Road. Don't use this place either to repair your vehicles because they dont keep their word of when is your vehicle going to be release and what is happening to your vehicle while being repaired. Once they have your vehicle in for repair, thats it. No need to inform you of the progress of your vehicle. Don't even try to call them because they don't know how to talk to people. read more

The service fees are horrendous. It costed me over $300 just to tow the car from Rockville Center to their building in Freeport. Only a 20 minute drive. Unlike many towing companies, they charge a $175 lifting fee and other fees under "labor and cleanup" if its a car in an accident. I watched, there was absolutely no clean up involved. read more

Horrible. Waited 2 hours with a flat tire. Called twice and was told they were on way. 3rd time called and was told they weren't coming because it was not in their area. Instead of telling me this upfront when they told me they would come eventhough it was out of their area, they let me sit on the side of a highway waiting for no one to come. No call back, nothing. incredible, just incredible, i have read several other reviews and it seems im not the only one that feels i was grossly overcharged. i run a limo service out of ac nj. mon aug 19 we had an unfortunate accident (not our fault but never the less an accident) the uniondale police called all county to retrieve the vehicle. our driver sent us a picture from the scene, the left front fender was hit and front bumper cover. the car was slightly leaking coolant but could have certainly been driven off of the road. the next day i was told the charge would be 1300.00 to have the car towed to all county, 9 miles away!!!! the next day i made the 4 hour trip myselt to speak with "joe" he proceeded to tell me why the cost was so high, im 61 years old and have been in the limo biz 30 years. i said there was no reason to send a heavy duty hauler to pick my car up. he said he didnt know what to send so he sent the big truck, his reason for sending it was, he didnt want to go out there (9) miles away and realize he sent a truck that wasnt big enough. I swear to you at that moment one of his drivers came out of the restroom and said, yea, that was me on that call last night, i was out there twice with 2 different trucks!!!! omg, i said, joe, did you just hear him??? he said there was nothing he could , that was the price. then he said, at least i didnt charge you per mile!! i said, id rather have the per mile rate at 9 miles!! this guy is nuts!! i said, ill take the per mile rate over the hourly without question!! he said, no we charge by the hour 500!!!! per hour!!! these people are pigs!!! read more

My truck was towed by All County Towing Freeport NY on October 9, 2015 I went to pick up the truck on October 10, 2015. I had All County Towing tow my truck to my auto body shop which is owned by my daughters father. The truck was considered totaled by the insurance company and taken on October 13, 2015. Today I just got my belongings back from my truck and my GPS, the charger and the GPS suction holder for the window was missing from my stuff. I called All County Towing and explained that these items were missing and the woman instantly went into a defensive mode and said what makes me think they took it? She was very nasty and did not care about my concern. My daughter took the phone and spoke to the woman. She told my daughter she would look at the inventory list to see if it was on there. She called my daughter back and said she could not find it and there was nothing they could do as it was over a month ago.
