I recently flew home from Los Angeles to New Jersey--with my two rabbits--specifically so Dr. Scavola could perform surgery on one of them. That's how much I trust her and this practice. My bunny developed a lump on her jaw, and while she was still acting completely normal, I knew something wasn't right. Even though I now live across the country, there was no one else I trusted to handle her diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Scavola had treated my bunnies in the past with the most incredible care, compassion, and expertise. She knows rabbits like no one else I've ever met, and her calm, confident presence always makes me feel like my pets are truly in the best hands. She quickly identified a dental abscess caused by a sideways-growing tooth root, safely removed the tooth, cleaned out the abscess, and implanted antibiotic beads--all in one day. My bunny was eating hay right after surgery and recovered beautifully. The level of skill, attention to detail, and genuine care is unmatched. The staff at All Creatures is just as wonderful--patient, kind, and incredibly responsive. They treat your animals like family and make you feel supported every step of the way. My every experience with All Creatures has been nothing but professional and above exceptional. I have appreciated and taken up any and all advice as well as any recommendations they have provided or suggested. The techs, doctors and front desk staff are thorough, kind hearted and take the time to help with whatever issue you might have. I have taken my Pomeranian mix (Charlie) there after being given very incorrect information from a prior vet that I had trusted for a long time. I am so grateful I did. Charlie ended up having a very aggressive serious ear infection that needed several different medications and treatments as the infection was antibiotic resistant. They found this out by doing the appropriate and necessary testing. Charlie is a ladies man lol. The previous vet told me angrily that my Charlie needed a lot of training and when I took Charlie to All Creatures there was not one bit of aggression, anxiety, or the biggest one - NO NEED FOR SEDATION. He also did not need 5 people like before to hold him down. I see the love and care for each animal they take care of small or large. The office is very clean. They also do everything they can to follow up, answer questions and check on my other Fur Babies. To my happiness, I loved the clean facility and caring staff! A female Vet saw our girl after the other female technician took her vitals. Both very lovely. Most thankful Mishka ham was fine. She would call after hours with my dog's bloodwork results, and is always available for follow ups and questions. She performed multiple challenging surgeries on our medically needy rescue animals, and everyone recovered beautifully. If there're any issues beyond their scope, we can count on appropriate referrals. The staff is great, always trying to accommodate our schedule, and promptly communicating by email. I live 30 min away so it's not the closest vet, but I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

He need stitches twice after hurting himself with one of his toys and Dr. Weiss fixed him right up. They also give good advice for pet anxiety and nutrition. Our bearded dragon had cancer and needed to be euthanized. We called All Creatures and were given a price of $150. We went tonight and were told the cost was over $300. When we asked about the difference, they danced around and blamed the meds ($19). It is what it is, obviously we needed the service, so we paid. A warning as well, they will charge you $65 for the visit on top of it? Who does that??? They are not at all caring when handling dragons during this procedure. A lot of rough handling, which may be the norm with reptiles, but during a euthanasia visit, some compassion would have been appreciated. When we were ready to leave we asked that Cosima be wrapped in the blanket we brought. The vet basically plopped her down, legs all askew and bent wrong, and covered her. It was horrific to see! THEN, she walked out with Cosima and SLAMMED THE DOOR.... like, really?? I definitely, wholeheartedly do not recommend. Township needs a new exotic vet for sure. Let me tell you how my rabbit died in this horrible office ... This review has been a long time in the making - I took my perfectly healthy 8 month old bunny to this office for his third or fourth nail trim. The tech took him into a room, left me in the waiting room. I could hear a HORRIBLE scream and within minutes I was being called into the room, being told my bunny's back was broken, and he seemed to be paralyzed. They said I had to leave so they could do what they could. He was okay 1 day later, but when I visited him the second day, his food hadn't been changed, there were gnats in his cage, and they gave him a water bottle when all he's ever used was a bowl. He was paralyzed and couldn't move but for some reason they kept his food and water at the front of his cage, where he could reach it. The fourth day came and his health severely declined, they sent me home with him and within one hour of being home he passed away. They didn't bill me because they recognized it was their fault, but when I asked for his chart, they wouldn't give it to me claiming "they weren't keeping notes since they weren't billing me" - aka they were hiding something and covering their asses. The male dr - the father - is incredibly rude and rough handles small animals with no delicate care whatsoever. Rule #1 of handling bunnies is to NEVER use one hand to pick them up by their back, and NEVER let their legs dangle but guess what - that is EXACTLY how he grabbed my bunny to show me my fur baby no longer felt anything in his legs. I reached out to the NJ vet board and they reviewed the case and asked the practice for the chart as well. It's been a year and I haven't heard anything so I'm taking it upon myself to inform small animal owners ... DO NOT bring your fur babies here. Is it worth their life?? And no I was not a "one time visit" - my bunny had at least 4 visits to this center. I regret taking him there every day. Rude, poorly managed, untrained staff. I don't know how they've been in business this long. At least the female dr was nice ... she clearly learned how to be a good vet by doing the opposite of what her father does. read more

I took my bunny here who had ear mites, it went very well and healed just days after the appointment. The reviews scared me a bit though.

I'm not really all that knowledgeable when it comes to animals, as I grew up in a home that was virtually pet-free, with the exception of a little cockatoo named Max that I used to spray with my water bottle and giggle when his multicolored head would get all wet. So I honestly had no idea what went into taking care of a rabbit and agreed to adopt one. Turns out, the rabbit we adopted had various problems related to his teeth, and needed monthly treatments for these issues (filing down of the teeth and all sorts of other stuff) or else he can't eat. All Creatures tends to the rabbit with the utmost care and quality and always discussed treatment options and cost honestly with no surprises. They also send sympathy cards to pet owners when their pets pass away. I thought that was especially touching. read more

I had a bad experience here with Dr. Link. 1. She gave incorrect information on more than one occasion, I later had confirmed by another vet. 2. She always assumed you were aware of all charges and how they applied. Such as...if she offers to cut nails on your pet it's free, if you ask for it to be done then it's a $12 charge per pet. 3. She administered a vaccine on my ferret without my consent resulting in his death. And preceded to charge me for the vaccine as well. 4. The staff there also failed to catch the deadly reaction before I took my pet home. Basically, I don't think Dr. Link is a bad vet. I do think she should know more about exotic animals. Many vets only practice on cats, dogs etc. and I looked hard to find one that would see my ferrets. However, as a professional, you should know what you're talking about and not just guess or assume anything. Since, then I've been seeing Dr. Koch at Collingswood Veterinary Hospital. Its alittle more expensive, but worth it. She doesn't guess. When I have a question she looks it up in medical books and shows me info I can be sure of. We're very happy there. read more

My mom has been bringing our family's dogs to All Creatures since around 2005. Dr. Weiss and his staff are nothing less than exceptional. They always go above and beyond their duties! My mom's dog gets fussy when they arrive at the vet office, so it's hard for my mom to get her dog in the office by herself. One day my mom asked if one of the staff members could help her when she is in the parking lot, and they said of course! I really appreciate this help from them. My fiancé and I have a dog of our own now and we take her to All Creatures. I cannot reiterate enough how accommodating and kind the staff members are! read more

I took my dying rabbit there after being seen at another vet who did X-rays and lab work. They said they could help her and insisted on their own blood work an additional $300 plus office visit and meds. Over the next week she was so sick I wanted to put her down for $40 and they insisted she was not that bad and that they could help her and not to consider putting her down until I get an ultrasound done an another $200. She died 2 days later but the worst part was that she suffered unnecessarily. It's my feeling that they knew she was dying and knew the money train would end here so they rung up the bill while she was alive and I was emotional. NEVER GO HERE EVER!!! read more

Best doctors hands down!! My dog was recently showing little action, not eating much, not drinking much. I was skeptical about taking her anywhere or even leaving the house in general during this Covid-19 pandemic. I decided to bring her here, and I'm so glad I did. The office was completely clean, Lysol wipes & spray were located in every room. The employees were constantly wiping things down in front of us. As a patient left the waiting room, they would wipe the seat down. Dr. Robinson-Weiss was so friendly and so happy I brought my dog in even though she could tell how nervous I was about being out of the house during the virus. She was super professional. My name is Christine. I am an avid animal owner, rescuer, trainer and have experience working in grooming and the vet field. I recently acquired an older rabbit, Sugar. I am an anxious person by nature and getting a pet that I did not have time to research first was putting my anxiety through the roof. My regular vet does not see small exotic mammals, so I had to find another doctor for this guy. I did research and decided to try ACVCC. From the first phone call, I was impressed. Reception staff spoke very nicely and professionally and were very nice. When I came in for my appointment last night, the technician was super friendly and eased my nerves, assuring me that the doctor wouldn't let me leave until I felt 100% confident in what I was doing with Sugar. When Dr. Lauren Weiss came into the room, she was happy and friendly. She talked to me for a few minutes and then gave me very specific information on how she wanted to appointment to go and what the game plan would be. She took Sugar out of his carrier and her and the tech both spoke so nicely to Sugar, comforting him and telling him how they promised everything was going to be OK. After a very thorough exam, we put Sugar back in the carrier so her and I could talk. She then spent the next 30+ minutes discussing with me the in's and out's of bunny care. She clearly knew what she was talking about, was able to thoroughly inform me of current and accurate diagnostic information. She was very comfortable with any limitations I set about his care, listed to my concerns and addressed them one by one. Dr. Weiss was amazing. I HIGHLY suggest bringing your rabbits and exotics here. read more

I took my ferret here when she was sick and they said she had a disease that progressed quickly with in 2 days. They wanted to keep her over night and keep her on IVs so i agreed to it and the next day they called me to tell me i can come pick her up and about 5 minutes before i was there they told me she was dead. I took my hedgehog there because she was losing quills and I was worried. After the first visit they sent me home with some spray to help her quills grow back in. It ended up worsening her condition. Took her in a second time, she was tested for mites. The multiple tests all came back negative but they still sent me home with medicine. Thank god I researched the medicine, if I did not and gave it to her she most likely would have died. Never going there again. The doctors need to be a little more knowledgable about the treatments they are giving, a simple google search gave me more info than the vet did. I took my leopard gecko here because his eyes needed to be flushed and I wanted to make sure everything was okay with him. The people were so friendly!! The reception area, vet tech who brought me back, and the vet himself. He was very informative and I had a great experience. This vet should not be licensed as an avian vet, they do not know the first thing about birds. I had one of my parrots cremated and a paw print done when she passed away. They gave my a foot print with 3 front toes and 1 back toe (parrots all have two front toes and two back toes), I sent the vet a picture of it and asked if she knew what was wrong with it. She didn't, she said even her own parrot foot prints look like that. I told her how it wasn't a parrot footprint and she laid all the blame on the place that cremated my bird since they did the foot print. First of all, I paid the vet directly so no matter what, blame is on the vet, and second of all the vet had the opportunity to see it was wrong and still didn't recognize it. For my bird that passed away, I also had a necropsy done. When I got the necropsy report back there was a note on it saying my bird had a history of increased bile acid, this was a shock to me because when I had her complete blood work done prior to her death, I was never told anything was wrong only that she'd need to be tested again annually for her check ups. On a different occasion, I was having bloodwork drawn for another one of my birds and when I was scheduling the appointment, I was asked if a tech only visit would be okay since the vet wasn't in that day, I said that was fine. When I got my bird back, her nail was clipped incredibly short (shorter than it needed to be to get blood) and she favored her other foot for days. The next time I brought my bird to the vet, I asked that the vet do the nails because I wasn't happy with how the tech did it last time. After I told the vet this, the vet told me she had been the one that had done the blood draw, someone was clearly lying. On another occasion, I was having one of my new birds tested for viral diseases, one of which came back positive and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. My new, much more qualified, vet let me know that the disease that came back positive should never be tested on a Friday because it is very unstable outside of the body, and All Creatures still took the sample on Friday and never gave me any warning. When I asked All Creatures what the prognosis meant, they gave me no information, thankfully my new vet was able to walk me through it and calmed my nerves greatly. There were a couple of other questionable things All Creatures did, but I kept going to them because they were cheaper. After seeing the care and information a good avian vet provides, it is well worth the extra money. I feel like the money I was spending at All Creatures was just being dumped into the trash. read more

I've been taking my rabbit here for about two years. I adopted him without knowing he needed regular teeth trims. I took him to another vet who wanted $350-$450 per visit & he would need this done 2-3 times a year! I went to All Creatures for a second opinion and their pricing was less than half. They allowed me to keep my rabbit, I would not have been able to afford to keep him otherwise. Staff is very friendly and I like Dr. Weiss. He is knowledgeable and handles my rabbit properly- he needs a firm hand because he is so squeamish at the vet. Very pleased with their care. I recently adopted a dog and will continue to use them as my primary vet for her also. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND! I got my bunny spayed here, she wouldn't eat after the surgery which I told the person who called to check on her about and she said the Dr. would call me back, this was at 10:30 am. At 5:30 pm, 7 HOURS LATER, the Dr. finally called me back and said I should take her to the hospital. They discovered at the hospital that my bunny had a hernia and that PART OF HER UTERUS WAS LEFT INSIDE HER that they never removed during her spay. The hospital told me that All Creatures would pay the $5000 it cost to save her because of their mistake but then All Creatures decided they were NOT going to pay that. The Dr. at All Creatures spoke to me in a degrading, dismissive and arrogant way on the phone and said THAT is the way they do their surgery and they do not find it to be their fault. However the Dr. at the hospital was VERY concerned that they had made that mistake and felt that her complications were caused by that. PLEASE, FOR YOUR ANIMALS SAKE, DO NOT BRING YOUR BELOVED PET TO ALL CREATURES. read more

On March 28, 2019 I took my 6 year old Parrotlet to All Creatures Vets for a routine stool sample. I was told that they would need to take a blood sample instead. Well, ten minutes later my beautiful pet was dead. They told me that they couldn't stop the bleeding and that they were SOOO sorry but some times these things happen. DO NOT TAKE RABBITS HERE. I took mine for an x-ray for a suspected broken leg. Sure, the front desk staff were friendly and nice, but the doctor was rude. They assured me that the bunny would be shaved and taken to an x-ray. There were no wounds or sores visible before she got there. However, I got a phone call the next day saying when they shaved her, they left gaping sores all over her legs and bottom, and that the only thing they could recommend was euthanasia. The doctor was extremely insincere in relaying this information and proceed to tell me how she was awake at the time and hopping around fine, but she would die due to infection no matter what. Because of their careless mistake, I lost my beloved pet and I would not recommend anyone take their rabbits here. They may "treat" exotics, but they don't seem to know anything about them - they are definitely a dog and cat vet, and maybe they're okay for that, but not for exotics. I made the mistake of taking my new rabbit here for a checkup. First of all, the receptionist was very rude on the phone when I called to make the appointment. She was short with me and sounded irritated. I came for my appointment and she was just as rude, and so was the other receptionist. They and the techs were gossiping the entire time I was waiting. I waited for 15-20 minutes. When I finally got to the exam room, it was very dirty and looked old. The tech, who was very nice, asked a few questions and then got the vet, who was very unprofessional. He didn't seem to have any idea how to handle a rabbit and was very rough with him, so much that my poor rabbit was trembling all the way home. They yelled at him when he started wiggling. The "exam" was not an exam at all. The vet never pulled out a stethoscope, didn't check my rabbit's teeth even when I said he hasn't been eating his hay, glanced into his ears - with his eyes, not an otoscope - when I said he'd been scratching his ears a lot, and told me information that I knew wasn't correct. The vet seemed to be in a rush and I didn't get to ask questions. I kick myself for even paying for the visit when nothing was even done. I'm going to a real vet for a real visit instead. read more

This place is full of morons. Two girls chomping gum at the front desk who don't know what's going on, ever. I brought my dog who had accidentally swallowed an Advil cold and sinus pill and was vomiting. I wasn't seen for 45 mins - although this is an emergency that needs immediate care since it involves toxins getting into the animals blood stream. They refused to put him on an IV to flush the toxins, probably because they didn't know how. The dr was all of 15 years old and couldn't even form a proper sentence - nor could he say the word "stool" without giggling. They fed him active charcoal to absorb the toxins, which was too late, he needed an iv. They sent us home with NO directions, nothing to look out for, and NO write up. I asked them to send the files to my primary vet (I live out of town and was visiting my parents) and they never did that, either. My dog was sick, vomiting, and shaking all night and I spent the night on the phone with animal poison control and emergency vets. They told me he was sick from the charcoal that the vet had earlier given him and that he didn't even need it. When they asked me how much they had distributed I couldn't even tell them because I never received a write up. Needless to say I will NEVER bring my dog or any pet here again, and you shouldn't either. The place is full of a bunch of quacks and they shouldn't be trusted with a stuffed animal. read more

Dr azvedo is amazing but today I brought my cat in for a urinary tract infection and she was not working dr Weiss was. While they took her in the back to do the urinalysis they took it upon themselves to draw blood work without my knowledge or consent! Then they told me about it after they already stuck her! Pretty sure that is illegal and when I asked why the vet tech with red hair and glasses for extremely defensive and started giving me some bullshit answer. Ok fine you drew the blood ... do you think anyone would give me some prices? Nope... they ask me to wait 20 minutes for the test to be completed... ok 20 isn't bad... I waited an hour and then finally asked the front desk staff to ask them if it was almost done... turns out the machine malfunctioned and instead of telling me they decided I should just wait all day!!!! Then I told them I need leave and pay... they finally get the price together and I pay (more money than I was expecting but I'm annoyed and want to leave at this point). Then apparently my cat was supposed to get a medication lmao surprise! No one was telling me anything! So I had to drive back and get the medication and I asked the vet tech what is was for and she right away gave me attitude and told me she is here to tell me... ok well your job is to keep me informed the entire time and she basically gave up at that. I do not recommend people go here. Sorry dr azvedo you're amazing but dr Weiss method of not giving you prices and running tests without asking the owner sounds illegal to say the least. Doesn't seem like they knew more than the basics. One vet told me dubia were great to feed, another told me "NO! Stop feeding those. Crickets are the best". I have done months of research before even getting my baby, and absolutely everything says crickets are the worst. Filled with parasites, will bite your reptile, low nutritional value compared to other insects. And he's telling me to switch to those! I brought my baby in because he wasn't eating, and I was told to switch to cat food or whatever they use as a substrate for their in-office dragon because they'll eat it if they get hungry. I've NEVER seen or heard about anyone using another animals food as a substrate and it's definitely not healthy for them to eat. They handled my baby in such a rough way that I was very uncomfortable watching. The $50 appointment was literally 5-6 minutes. They just did a quick visual inspection and pulled at his limbs. Gave me very bad advice. Placed him directly on the stone cold, slippery metal table and barely paid attention so he almost ran off. My current vet places a towel down, does a FULL physical check of the heartbeat, lungs, mouth, AND included me in what she was looking for/at. If you have an exotic pet, DEFINITELY find an actual specialist. read more

I would never recommend this vet to anyone. I have entrusted them with the care of 3 pets total. They were the only vet in the area that would see small pets and exotic. All that has taught me is to never again be the owner of a small pet or exotic animal. One vet laughed at one of the pets because she "never seen anything so gross". Very hurtful and unprofessional. Another vet wanted me to start a process of elimination when I took my rabbit who was progressively foregoing hard food for soft foods, likely because of teeth overgrowth issues. The vet emptied my wallet, sent me home with an antibiotic, and the pet eventually starved to death before I could get an appointment to take her back. Thanks a lot. Their last opportunity for redemption was my exotic pet who has a white film on his eyes. The tech was grossed out by the frog, and the vet didn't "see" the problem, which is code for I have no idea what that is, even the aide seen it. Never again. Do your own research first. read more

Personally--this is just my opinion, but I would not go there. I did not have the best experience with them when it came to the advice and care that they gave me in regards to my two small mammals with cancerous tumors. The vet not only suggested surgery, but double surgery, spaying, which I later learned may not have been the best idea for small mammals of their age. I came in with two apparently happy, active animals, with the exception of their tumors. A week and a half after their surgery, one of the little girls had died, after having spent three days at the vet where they charged me several hundred dollars to treat her for (according to them) a non-existent infection and to administer other ineffective treatments. The other girl was having difficult healing up from surgery; her staples had torn, and I had to pay a hundred dollars to get her re-stapled. When those tore, I finally took her to a different vet hospital; and fortunately, believe that she is now healing. The entire excursion, an attempt to do what I thought was best for my pets, based upon their advice, cost me well over a thousand dollars, and seemed to hurt (or kill) more than help my animals. read more

My pet ferret, Rocket is my baby and I was so nervous to bring him out of the house, let alone the vet. They scheduled me an almost immediate appointment, which was amazing! Once we got there, the staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. My little guy did not like the liquid medication they originally prescribed him, so they referred me (and called in a prescription) to a company that turns pet medications into treat-like tablets for easier consumption... (which was also amazing to deal with!) The best part was that today (the day after my visit), I got a phone call asking how my little guy was and if I needed anything or had any questions. Overall, I was thrilled with the exceptional service and genuine care! Not only were they concerned about my baby, but they showed concern for me as well. I would highly recommend this vet! This place doesn't even deserve one star, but I had to give it to write this review. We took my dog she was 12 years old, and her stomach was blown up and was not acting like herself. The vet did blood work and said they would call us the next day. My dog continued to get worse by the next day we still did not receive a phone call after calling the vet several times with no one answering the phone We drove there and they said we don't have the blood results and we won't have them till Monday!!! (So WHY DID NO ONE ANSWER THE PHONE JUST TO TELL ME THAT) So Monday comes and again we called them and they said they still don't have the blood results they said to bring her in Tuesday for more tests. We ended up taking her Monday night to the Animal hospital in Turnersville. They ended up keeping her over night to run tests and to rehydrate her. The next day Tuesday we heard right away that she was very sick and she had to be put to sleep. As of right know the "All creatures Vet" has still not called us and know it is going on a week and today in the mail we received from All creatures vet a reminder that it is time for her yearly check up. I will never step foot in that place again and I WARN ALL OF YOU DONT TAKE YOUR PET THERE they are quick to take your money but could care less about your pet!!! By their neglect my dog had to die where if we would of known sooner that they could of cared less about any animal we would of taken her to the animal hospital instead of taking her to All Creatures Vet. They never called us to let us know the blood results or to see how she was doing. They still don't even know that we had to say goodbye to our baby. It was the worst experience we have gone through. We tried everything to keep her with us but by that time it was to late. We loved our dog so much and trusted them with her life. Please don't let the same happen to your pets!! read more
