We took our cat in for dental work - nice experience both on the initial meeting and during his procedure. It's clear that they care about their patients and want a positive outcome all around.

Fellow Charleston Pet Owners: Avoid this Business! After seemingly going to All Creatures every week for 6 months with my two boys, Billy & Majesty will no longer be patients at this clinic. I was confronted by a loud and angry man in the waiting room. I was afraid of the man and upset at the receptionist for not addressing the situation. I felt unsafe in the waiting room so I had my significant other call the receptionist to hopefully separate me from the man who told me to shut up. I am a small 21 year old female. She did nothing and didn't recognize the growing safety concern. In fact, she claimed my boyfriend was rude and caused her to cry. She proceeds to leave the waiting room all together, leaving us unattended. We eventually had Billy's vaccine and left. Later that evening an ACVC vet called my boyfriend and told him we were no longer welcome there because we "made the receptionist cry." ACVC also put on my dogs record a twisted synopsis of these events just to follow us to our next vet! My boyfriend only asked to speak to a manager and for me to be separated from the man. ACVC doesn't care about their clients. They only seem to care about their staff. Go somewhere else!

Ask the Community - All Creatures Veterinary Clinic

Would this be a good place to take my 5 ferrets? I'm moving to SC in a couple of months and want to have a vet lined up before I make my way out there.

I don't own one but I've seen one at the office and the one assistant told me they saw a lot of them.

She treats both you and your pet with genuine compassion, patience, and respect. You're never made to feel like just another appointment or a number; she takes her time, listens, and makes sure you understand every step of your pet's care all while valuing your opinion. What stands out most is how she sees animals for what they are -- living, feeling beings who deserve kindness and dignity. That level of care is rare, and it's exactly why my family and I trust her completely with our pets. My family and I actually drive all the way from North Mount Pleasant just to bring our pets to her and her team -- that alone should speak volumes about the level of trust and confidence we have in her care. And her team? Absolutely incredible, 10/10. Her techs are just as kind, competent, attentive, and dedicated. They go above and beyond to make sure both pets and owners feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. It's not easy to find a veterinary team that blends skill, compassion, and integrity so seamlessly, but Dr. Kahuda and her staff truly do. I am beyond grateful to have found them, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pets.

My fiance and I are both students, so cost and transparency was certainly important to us in choosing a vet. However, I was also looking for a empathetic stress free environment for both my stray cat and myself, as I had never owned a cat before. From the initial form, allowing me to outline our story in advance, our appointment felt so individualized. Sarah R. , our fantastic Vet Tech, had read our case and was called in specially to see Princess because of her experience with strays. She was calm and effective, and I was shocked to see her petting Princess less than 30 seconds after opening her carrier (I had not yet attempted this). She was personable, telling us about her own fur babies, but I also felt she was very thorough in collecting history and let me ask lots of questions. In addition to Sarah's excellence, Dr. Morgan Mcpheeter was calm, efficient, and knowledgeable. I am not a "review" person but for the person out there wondering if they should invest in a Vet Relationship instead of a neuter/spay service, I think Charleston Harbor is everything they've advertised and more (rare in Chs).

I was bringing my dog in for a second opinion before making the difficult decision of whether to put her through another extensive and very expensive reconstructive surgery. Deep down, I had a gut feeling that another surgery wasn't the best option, but I needed someone I could trust to be honest with me. Dr. Bolen took the time to carefully review all of Lizzie's medical records and X-rays, performed a thorough examination, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He told me that he would not recommend putting her through another surgery. He was honest about potential issues that could arise in the future, but he also discussed other treatment options that were much less invasive and far less costly. I left the appointment feeling an overwhelming sense of relief. More importantly, I left with hope and complete confidence that I had received an honest, compassionate opinion that truly put my dog's best interests first. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Bolen and the entire staff for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care.

The cats never seem fearful in her care and I believe this is because of her ability to understand them and their body language, and she doesn't force them into going to the "crazy point". She is thorough and communicates with the pet parents well to help us understand all we can do to care for our 4-legged friends. She's not quick to want to test, test, test for money, money, money - something anyone can appreciate. She keeps the patient and the human in mind always. I knew that I wanted it to be done at home where she would be most comfortable, but I didn't know how that worked so I started searching. I saw that Dignity Bridge had a lot of recommendations on a local facebook group I'm in, but they didn't have a website. I decided to give them a call and leave a message since it was already after normal business hours. Their voicemail message suggested texting for a faster response so I hung up and did that instead. Shortly after, I got a response answering all my questions about pricing, who they recommend for cremation, and availability. Dr Evans and I texted back and forth multiple times and were working on finding a time to move forward with the euthanasia. The next day, Dr. Evans let me know of an opening in her schedule that evening which is when I was trying to schedule her. My dog ended up passing naturally overnight so I was no longer in need of her services. I appreciated her following up and let her know the circumstances. She wrote me a very nice response offering her sympathy and to let her know if they could help with anything. Although I did not end up having to use their services, the interaction I had was worthy of a five star experience. I hope not to be faced with making that difficult decision again any time soon, but if so, I will absolutely be calling Dr Evans and Dignity Bridge again.
