Visiting our boy after his surgery.

We are so grateful for the care our dog received here during a very scary emergency. The surgeon, Dr. Case, was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough. She walked us through every step of the process, which meant so much--especially since the first emergency vet we visited was a large corporate practice, and you could truly feel it. We felt rushed and overwhelmed there, with very little explanation or personal care. In contrast, this is a small practice, and you genuinely feel taken care of from start to finish--which is incredibly important when you're dealing with a situation serious enough to require an emergency vet. On top of the compassionate care, the cost here was half of what the first vet quoted, which was a huge relief during an already stressful time. The receptionist, Izzy, was so sweet and gentle with our dog and incredibly attentive to every question and request we had. He truly made us feel welcome and supported from the moment we walked in. We've actually been here once before when our dog was a puppy, and that experience was also excellent. Looking back, we really wish we had come here first and avoided the poor experience we had elsewhere. We also want to thank Alison, Amanda, and Silvia, the nurses who cared for our dog during his stay. They were compassionate, attentive, and kept us consistently updated. We were especially touched that they allowed us to stop by after surgery to bring food he liked and help encourage him to perk up. Dr. Vasquez was the surgeon that watched over him when Dr. Case left and she was also extremely sweet and helpful. Overall, while this was an incredibly frightening experience, we are so thankful we ended up here. The entire team showed genuine care, compassion, and professionalism, and we wouldn't hesitate to trust them again in the future.

No one really wants to go to the animal emergency room right? But if you have to go, I feel like All Creatures tries its best to take care of you and your animal friends. My puppy is like my baby and when he is hurt I have to make sure he is okay. We called All creatures on a panicked Saturday evening and the lady at the front desk had the nicest voice and temperament, I almost cried when she said they could see him and to come as soon as possible. Such genuine care here, even over the phone. They took Bo back pretty quickly and we were anxiety riddled thinking he may have to be put under or surgery or whatever worst-case thoughts go through your mind. But less than 10 minutes later Bo was back with us in the waiting room, we were given meds, and sent on our way! The Vet even came out herself to tell us what a good boy he was and that he would be fine. It cost approx $250 for the visit, evaluation, bandage, and a bottle of medicine. Worth if to make sure he was okay. They do help ALL creatures here- they had a few dogs, cats, and a duck in the waiting room. Thank you for all that you do and while I hope to never return (ha!) I appreciate you and if we do have to come back, I know they will take great care of my dog son.

My daughter and I brought our beloved Bunny here two months ago. Valiant effort to help her through the night led to us being able to transfer her to our regular vet who happens to be a rabbit specialist. Our vet did an amazing job attending to her but didn't have night staff, so we took her home and kept an eye on her. She started to fail, so we drove back to All Creatures, but Bunny didn't make it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff were so kind and sad themselves cuz Bunny was a cutie and a fighter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you to all the excellent staff who really went above and beyond to help her and us. I was also grateful for their professionalism, warmth and care, and explaining cremation information and providing the memento of her little nose and paw prints we later received. 5 stars doubled!

Fly high my sweet girl, I miss you everyday... you left me way too soon...

They have a great mobile app that makes communication and appointment management very convenient. However, that changed when I requested an estimate for a dental cleaning for our 6-year-old Yorkie. The procedure was long overdue, and I understood there was a possibility that some teeth might need to be extracted. The estimate I received was approximately $4,300 before any extractions, with additional charges of around $75 per tooth if extractions were needed. Having gone through similar procedures with other pets in the past, I was honestly shocked by the cost. I started researching alternatives and came across Crossroads Animal Hospital. Their reviews were overwhelmingly positive, and since they're close to my home, I decided to give them a call. They provided a very thorough estimate that included all the same important pre-op and post-op care, but the total cost was around $750, with extractions priced at about $25 per tooth. I transferred my dog's records and was able to get an appointment within just a couple of days. The entire experience exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring both on the phone and in person. Most importantly, our Yorkie's dental work turned out fantastic. His teeth looked amazing afterward, only one small tooth needed to be removed, and the bad dog breath that we'd been dealing with was completely gone. Finding a veterinarian you trust can be difficult, especially after moving to a new area. While VCA offers some convenient technology, I'll gladly choose Crossroads Animal Hospital for my pets' care going forward. They've earned my business through excellent service, quality care, and fair pricing.

In December, my sweet 7-year-old Golden, Addie, was diagnosed with severe pulmonary edema by her primary vet. This hit us out of nowhere because, despite being so sick, she, being the sweet girl that she was, was still doing everything she could to please us and love on us. Even though it was Christmas time and they were very busy, we were able to schedule an appointment with Marqueen for the next day (Christmas Eve) to see if we could pull some of the fluid off and make things easier for her. We were hoping to have some time. During her initial exam, she was all loves and tail wags for the tech and the vet. She didn't act like she was super ill. Typical Addie. She only wanted to love on her new friends. Dr. McDonald pulled her back for a scan and a more thorough check. When she brought her back in, by the look on her face, I just knew. She had to give me the news that Addie was decompensating and was in the process of dying. We likely had hours. Despite her tail wags and eager disposition, her body was giving out on her. We discussed our options, and we decided together to let her go peacefully before she really started to struggle. Dr. McDonald and the Marqueen team allowed me to go home quickly to get our other dog, my husband, and our daughter so everyone could say goodbye. They watched over her while I was gone. Upon our return, they allowed us all the time we needed to love on her just as she had loved on us for seven years. When it was time, I laid down on the floor, big-spooned my sweet girl, and told her how much we loved her. I thanked her for being the amazing girl that she was. Dr. McDonald walked us through the entire process. She had a calm voice and was so soothing to us, and to Addie. We were allowed to spend as much time as we needed with her after she passed. Not once did we feel rushed. We were even able to bring our other dog in to say goodbye. While it was an absolutely devastating time, I can't say enough about the compassion that the Marqueen staff provided to us that day. I was able to leave knowing we made the best decision for our Addie girl, and that her passing was as smooth and peaceful as we could provide. Thank you, Dr. McDonald. I hope you see this, because I have thought of you so much since that day and truly appreciate how warm and kind you were. Thank you for being so... human. Addie was an amazing girl, and she deserved to have a vet just as amazing to help her through her final steps toward the rainbow bridge.

I am astounded to say that was not the case at Parkway veterinary Hospital. Not only was she almost immediately trusting of the staff, but she got on the scale without needing to be picked up. While that may not seem like a huge people deal for many people, our little girl has a very rough past and does not trust easy- so that little gesture from her was huge. We came in because something had been bothering her in her ear, our regular go to spot didn't have a doctor on site until after 10 , so we started looking for other options. I have had one other experience similar to this before and I think we were both a little traumatized because she needed to be under an anesthetic to have the item removed from her ear. This was because it was so deep and because she was so distrustful with the doctor. In this scenario, Dr. Kodimeria used a muzzle instead -just for safety ( she was so gentle about it) and had us help keep her calm while she thoroughly checked both ears and removed everything that was stuck! It was such a quick procedure, and when I tell you that our girl had no issue with it, I am still bewildered. They also trimmed her nails, which is a miracle on its own that she allowed that. We were so happy with this experience that we switched over to scheduling all of our regular care here. Our dogs know good people when they meet them- that's why we didn't have to make the choice to switch to Parkway veterinary Hospital. Our sweet girl made that choice for us. We left there and VSH was about 10 minutes away. They weren't busy with waiting room semi empty. We spoke to the receptionist. She was very nice, friendly and helpful. Which is I know is different if one place is hectic. Employees will be irritated but if you choose this high stress job. You will have to deal with drama that comes with it. This place was not the same in every single details to the previous ER vet we were at. Air in the reception area flow well throughout. No claustrophobic atmosphere. Very courteously warm in etiquette and proper addressing to their clients. Very pleasant in all. We got called to go to a room which wasn't too long before we see anyone. The vet tech came in took our girl to assess and the vet came in not too long after to let us know that she have a small puncture wound but nothing else more. Due to it being in such an awful area. Doing anything more will only make it worse. So she cleaned the wounds and will prescribe an antibiotics to help so it doesn't get infected and also a pain meds clavamox to help to keep her comfortable. The quickest easiest vet visit EVER HAVE! As an experienced Great Dane owner I was worried about possible bloat which is life threatening. Bloat is diagnosed with a X-ray to see if thier stomach has flipped. A tech came into the lobby, took one quick look at him, and said, "He looks fine," then told me I'd have to wait because the other tech wouldn't arrive until 9:00. When you're dealing with a giant breed puppy showing symptoms that can be life threatening, that kind of dismissal is extremely unsettling. After waiting, we did see the veterinarian. She was kind, professional, and explained the next steps clearly. Later in the day I was called to pick him up and was told he just had a very upset stomach and needed to start prescription dog food. However, no one not the tech or the front desk provided any information about how to obtain the prescription food. No written prescription, no instructions, nothing. I had to call my personal vet, who explained that I needed a written prescription and that the food had to be purchased at PetSmart. This is basic discharge information that should have been provided. Overall, the veterinarian was great, but the tech staff's communication and the discharge process were frustrating and disappointing.

As you can imagine, this was devastating. During our consultation, we were told that due to her age and potential surgical risks, she could potentially live for some time without surgery. Based on that information, we made the heartbreaking decision not to operate. We were told that the mass could rupture externally. However, we were never informed that it could rupture internally or that a sudden, catastrophic decline was a possibility. Shortly after the diagnosis, the mass ruptured internally. When we called the office, we were told to "watch and see how she does." There was no urgency conveyed. However, after doing some research, I learned that internal rupture of a tumor is often considered a medical emergency. We insisted on bringing her in. The clinic was busy and we waited. When she was finally seen, we were told she likely had only days left. We were heartbroken but prepared for a gradual decline. Instead, within hours of bringing her home, her condition rapidly deteriorated. She became immobile and began passing blood. We rushed her to an emergency vet later that evening. She began seizing, convulsing, and was clearly in extreme pain. Her body was shutting down, and we had to make the decision to euthanize her that night. What made this even harder was feeling completely unprepared. We were never informed that internal rupture or a rapid, catastrophic decline could occur. Had we understood the full risks, we may have made different decisions to prevent the suffering she experienced in her final hours. We also found their pricing to be significantly higher than other veterinarians in the area. Since this experience, we have transitioned to another local vet who has provided more thorough communication, compassionate care, and noticeably more reasonable pricing. The difference in both cost and quality of care has been night and day. That night was one of the most traumatic experiences of our lives. Watching our dog suffer in that way is something we will never forget. I hope this review encourages others to ask very direct questions about internal rupture risks, emergency scenarios, and worst-case outcomes when discussing serious diagnoses, and to compare pricing before committing to care. 1 star.

The front desk told me to wait a week and then bring them in, so I scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, I was told they weren't old enough for vaccines after all -- so my time and money were completely wasted. Then the vet tried to scare me into thinking my kittens would get seriously ill if I didn't approve a long list of expensive tests -- blood work, stool tests, and more -- which totaled in the thousands. When I declined, they made me feel like a bad pet parent. One of my kittens was just a little bloated from food, but instead of discussing her current diet, they immediately tried to upsell me on costly "special" food. The entire experience felt manipulative, like dealing with slimy car salesmen. Definitely not coming back.
