Rated 5 stars because All Dental Staffing IS as good as it gets. Finding the right office can be a huge challenge and very discouraging. I have worked at several offices since the beginning of my dental career and still lacked the stability I desired. What I have learned is, If it doesn't fit, don't force it. Although everyone needs money to live, it doesn't mean you have to stay somewhere that makes you miserable! Don't stalk craigslist all day and apply at the first office that MIGHT be worth interviewing for (like I was doing)... CALL THERESA. She is so personable and friendly and SHE KNOWS WHAT IS GOOD FOR YOU... even when you THINK you know what you need!! Theresa read me like a book the first time we talked. She knew of an office that would be a good match and we agreed to schedule an interview. After the interview....I was not too thrilled and I was pretty hesitant to try it out. The office just wasn't what I had pictured and trying the unknown is very scary (especially when your broke!). But Theresa knows her Doctors and offices very well and wouldn't push you to try something if it wouldn't benefit you. Although this is the smallest office I've been to and it wasn't what I expected.. the patients, the Doctors and the DA are SUCH wonderful people! Theresa focused on putting me with the right team, and although we are a small team of 3, its very home-like here and... we actually function like a team! I am a graduated DA but my position has been "Dental Receptionist". In past teams I've worked with, no one would teach me Insurance and Treatment Planning. Theresa not only found me a "Golden Opportunity" to learn both, but she worked it out so that the person I was replacing, would come in and train me! My experience with Teresa was a mixed bag. Originally, all seemed good. She was responsive and professional. She would call and get my schedule lined up...just seemed on the ball. However, things went down hill quickly. Scheduling - Twice, I showed up to a clinic and was told I was supposed to be working at another clinic or not working at all. I was treated with a very poor attitude by that clinic but I had not been informed by Teresa not to work at the clinic I always work at. Another time, I showed up for work and was told I was not supposed to be there that day. Teresa told me days that would be available to work in the month of November well in advance...then confirmed via voicemail...only to find out that all of a sudden...within a couple hours of the voicemail and my responding voicemail that I was available the following day was no longer available. In fact, in my last conversation with her Teresa stated she was not sure about the days anymore. My head was spinning from all the changes in such a short period. It is important for a agency to set expectations properly...especially so close to the day I am supposed to work. This will have a significant impact on my income as I have nothing arranged for the next week or so. Also, I was very clear that I did not want to work at a particular distance from my home...but this is where Teresa began to ask me to work. Response - there were two incidents where I tried to reach Teresa for over a week with no response. One time I eventually got a hold of her after over a week. Another time, after a week of trying to contact her...I just gave up. Training-Communication-Support - the clinic was supposed to train me on how to use a time tracking tool called Kronos. This only became known to me after I did not get paid properly and then it was mentioned I had not entered my time in Kronos and why not. I had no idea what Kronos was and requested training. I brought up this pay issue and the training issue with Teresa but did not get much support from her. Teresa gave me a name at the clinic to speak to about my pay issue...she was not going to handle it for me....nor the training issue...no follow up. I just asked another Doctor and tried to train myself how to enter my time. I was told in my last conversation with Teresa when I asked if the clinic was displeased with me that they did not like that I came in late everyday. I explained to Teresa that no Doctors get at work at 8am...they all come in around 8:15 to 8:30 because there are no patients to see until 8:30...so I began to come in at that time as well. Teresa then informed me I should be clocking in. I had never been told this before not ever noticed any Doctor logging in. Once again, like Kronos....no one had instructed me to Clock in. In summation, it is my impression that because I was not trained on time tracking, paid improperly, showed up the wrong location twice and showed up to work on a day I was not supposed to be there...the clinic formed a poor opinion of me. I do not think it was because I was coming in at the same time as the other Doctors. When these issues began to pop up....all of a sudden Teresa's response time to me slowed or ended and she became mostly non-supportive. Teresa did support me once when the clinic had me seeing over 25 patients on many days. Other than that one time though Teresa was very unprofessional. read more

I called her early September to explore other options as an RDA because I was ready to advance my career. The office I was was at did not offer that. I called and was on a promising working interview the next week. I took the offer at the other office with a generous raise. She had other opportunities for me to explore, but I loved the first one she gave me so I took it :) She's extremely knowledgeable in the dental field because she worked in it for so long so she knows what you're looking for. On that same note, she also has a lot of great connections... I highly recommend... I called other agencies and didn't even have a chance to utilize those because she became my one stop shop!!!
