We've been coming to All Eyes for a while now (perhaps since 2017/2018), and it is always a nice visit. The exams are thorough and Dr. Anita will ask whether we want the "extras" that aren't covered by our particular insurance. Now Fred isn't just informative, but also very patient each time it's time to choose a frame. I go through so many and it assists with any questions I might have, while trying to make up my mind! I got my glasses sometime at the end of July going into August. When I first got my glasses back, the coding was wrong on one of the lens and I barely only had them for a week. I had to go back and return them to be fixed. Then about two months later, I realize my glasses seemed like the transition or coding was messed up. It reminded me of a bad tint job on a car and the paint peels. I keep my glasses in a case, and only wipe them with eyeglass cleaner wipes. First of all, I have come to this office for years and have been so pleased with the level of care given to me each time. It was no different when I visited in February, concerned that I had been experiencing constant double vision. Dr. Anita was very thorough in her examination and insisted I go to the ER for further diagnostic testing. She was absolutely correct in her assessment and helped me begin my journey through what would be a cancer diagnosis. Their office followed up with me shortly afterwards and showed genuine care. You need to be more considerate by not speaking your native language in front of your clients because that is very rude. BE SURE TO GET YOUR PD! Great customer service. The owners are very nice, conscientious, and detail oriented. I had to deduct stars for the basic fact that during your eye exam, your PD (Pupillary Distance) is not measured or provided to you by Fred / Anita. After talking to several other optometrists, the distance between your pupils is a core and standard measurement that is integral to your vision/prescription, and should be part of your eye exam. Be sure to get it. I was advised that optometrists who don't provide your PD after an eye exam may do it for self-serving reasons to deter you from obtaining eyeglasses from another resource, which is unfortunate, especially if you have to relocate. I always come back to my grandmother's advice: treat people the way you would want to be treated. :) read more

I wrote this review yesterday immediately after my appointment yesterday and decided to give myself the day to cool off and make sure I still felt as outrageously offended by my interaction with Fred: I'm leaving two stars because this is a balance of my experience between Dr. Anita and Fred. I walked in and there was a woman there occupying Fred's attention with a complaint about her new glasses. She was having trouble explaining what the issue was and Fred essentially kept standing there and telling her she was wrong. Dr. Anita came out a few minutes after my arriving and started to check me in but after taking my ID and saying she needed a moment to input my info was pulled into assisting this other woman as well. Eventually Dr. Anita pulled me into an exam room and started walking me through the pricing of a contact vs glasses exam which I honestly still think doesn't make sense to me for a $60 difference but I guess that's just a thing now? I told her my last optomotrist had never done that and she balked at this info. Anyways, Dr. Anita let me ask her a slew of questions and patiently answered them all which I appreciated. The exam was thorough and I liked how she explained that she was doing as she went. When the exam was done she got me contacts and checked the fitting. I reminded her again I also needed glasses so she walked me out to talk to Fred about glasses. I already knew what I wanted as I had strategically used my time waiting to find a pair. He went to check me out for my years worth of contacts and new glasses and after reading me the total (not cheap) and taking my credit card, he looked me dead in the eyes and said, "You have 30 days to pay this." My jaw dropped. Was it the blue hair or nose piercings that gave this man some misconception that he felt he could judge and mansplain to an adult woman how to pay off her credit card. I replied I know how credit payments work as I'm a grown woman. He replied, "Right because you use it a lot." Are you serious? First I don't know how to pay off my credit card on time and now I'm someone who uses their credit card a lot? I looked at him and told him he's full of judgment which was met with an "I'm sorry you feel that way". Don't apologize for how I feel, apologize for what was said. I honestly am upset I have to come back and pick up my glasses and contacts. I am genuinely not looking forward to picking up my glasses or contacts and will be trying to get it over with as quickly as possible so I don't have to return. read more

The Dr in the office is everything you want in an eye Dr. Now the Optician who makes the glasses in her office is another story. (2022-2023 was went I used their services) Just to get to the point, HE PUT A PAIR OF GUCCI ARMS ON ANOTHER MAKER'S FRAMES AND SOLD THEM TO ME AS GUCCI FRAMES. After 1 year w/said glasses, the GLOSS on the front of the frames DISSAPPEARED. The front looks like a MATTE, glossless frame and the arms of the glasses, with the GG'S, ARE STILL GLOSSY. I could NOT figure out what happened until I was explaining it to my new optician. I have glasses almost 10 years old that NEVER lose their gloss. read more

So..Im an auto mechanic. A stubborn auto mechanic. One who doesn't wear safety glasses when he grinds on metal parts. I generally rely on a solid squint and a little elbow blockage to protect my eyes when Im working. So its no surprise that it finally happened. Chunk of metal straight to the right eye. After 2 days of pain and bad vision and me telling myself "nah, its ok, itll come out on its own" (told you I was stubborn) I decided I needed to see a doctor. And All Eyes is right down the street from my shop. So I gave them call and they told me to come on down. Dr. Anita saw me right away and checked out my eye. She eye-dentified (haha) the metal debris in my eye and checked my vision. I couldnt see too well out the damaged eye. Not good. So she told me to hold still and she grabbed some pointy scary looking tweezers. I was terrif-eyed (hahaha!) but Dr Anita was so cool and confident and I trusted her so I did my best to hold still and let her do her thing. Its hard to keep your eye open when someone is trying to get in there and pull some painful metal out. But Dr. Anita was awesome! She got the damn metal out in one shot! Super steady hand and precision dexterity! I was amazed! She must be great at playing that old game "Operation"! I mean it! She got that metal out.....without BATTING AN EYE! Dr. Anita gave me a vision exam and an eye check and wrote me a prescription for some antibiotics. She had me return for a follow up appointment just to make sure my eyes were healing up well. Since then my vision has returned to normal and Im healed up completely. Amazing. Ive been making some jokes in this review but seriously... I have never met such a kind and comforting person who was so concerned and caring when it came to helping me. Dr. Anita is the coolest doctor I have dealt with in a long time. I recommend this place to anyone who needs anything done with their vision or their eyes. I cant speak highly enough of this business. Mediocrity is everywhere in our world. But it cannot be found here. They are exceptional! And the cost? Lets just say that they charged me such a fair amount I don't even want to mention it. I feel I got the deal of the century! How often do you have an emergency medical situation and leave feeling like that? THANK YOU DR. ANITA AND THANK YOU FRED! I came to them at their older location first and quickly made an appointment when I came back into town just to see her again. Really disappointed in what I now realize was incredibly deceptive and dishonest. I went in with an eye injury. I explained that I had insurance with Kaiser and didn't know whether I should go directly there instead. She looked up my insurance and said "it's ok, I got you" then took me into the exam room to look into the problem I was having. She said it was an allergic reaction and prescribed some drops. She told me she sends lots of people to Kaiser with this exact prescription and it shouldn't be a problem but let her know if it was. She told me I'd need a follow up appointment but it would only be $25, not as much as the exam. I was confused, I thought I was covered by insurance. At reception I was charged $130 for the exam. I asked if it was covered by my insurance or if I needed to file a claim and he said "this is the insurance price". I called Aetna when I got home, they told me it wasn't covered and I should have gone to Kaiser instead. Ok, fine, VERY expensive lesson learned. I get to Kaiser for the prescription. $244!!! (At least they quoted me the price ahead of time and recommended I go right to Urgent Care, something I should have done in the first place). I went to the Urgent Care onsite. $20 later I have actual medication and treatment for my problem. Dr Kerendian-Hakimi, had you been honest with me and told me it wasn't covered or at least told me the cost up front, I could have made an informed decision about your services. I feel that you took advantage of me when I was in distress and injured. My family was looking for a new vision specialist, you've guaranteed it won't be you. read more

I came here after researching what places my job's vision insurance would cover. I came to this cute mom and pop after losing my only pair of glasses that needed an upgrade at least two years ago. My laziness to forego ever having to sit through another glasses exam made me unable to appreciate this establishment at first but I couldn't help but start to warm up to the place as Fred, the man at the front desk, decided to help me pick out a new pair of frames and fill out my paperwork for me (incredibly nice of him...I hate going through paperwork at the doctor's office) After (to my delight) finding a pair of frames I actually really liked, my doctor came out (I can't remember her name unfortunately) and took me to the back. The doctor, who I assume is the one who runs the practice, was hands down the best optometrist I've ever seen. But really. She was incredibly attentive, outgoing/ clearly wanted to interact with her patients, and was a complete delight. I was expecting to be annoyed the entire time I was at this practice but I honestly could not help but warm up to the owner and the man at the front desk. They are so sweet, you honestly can't help but want to talk to them while you're there which NEVER has happened to me at the optometrist before. Luckily, I got my new glasses three days after the order was put in and I can still say I'm in LOVE with my new frames. I honestly didn't expect to find anything I truly liked at a small mom and pop optometry and fully expected to head to a cute, trendy store for overpriced frames. I was quite presently surprised. I've gotten several compliments on my new frames and am VERY happy I decided to go here. I would highly recommend this optometry. They're incredibly nice, helpful, and clearly aim To bond with their patrons and help them in every way possible. The services here exceeded my expectations. My insurance was expiring end of the month and I wanted to use it to get a pair of glasses. When I found out my prescription just expired, I managed to get a last minute appointment for an eye exam. Fred, the assistant was so cordial from the beginning. Dr. Anita, the optometrist, gave me a very thorough exam and was so sweet and considerate of my needs throughout the session. Already satisfied with the top notch service, Fred found a pair of glasses that complimented my facial features. You see, I have been always cheap about my glasses--choosing ones that are completely covered and identical in shape with my former pairs. But thanks to his really good sense of style, he sold me on a much more hip, modern and lighter pair that was only $29 extra (plus it's flexible if that means anything to you).
