I have a lot of dental work after 4 years of braces and felt like many dentists were trying to take advantage of me, until a coworker recommended Dr. Rothrock. I've been going to him for about 10 years now and feel this is the healthiest my teeth/mouth have been my whole life. I trust that he genuinely cares and recommends the least invasive procedures to get the job done right, which is very important to me. But if I have to go, I am going to a dentist who is friendly, kind and understands his profession! This is the place! I have been going to this dentist office for a few years. Dr. Datillio runs a smaller practice so he knows his patients. I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. The receptionist is really friendly. The office is not huge so once you get in the chair the dentist is in to see you within minutes. The hygienists are thorough and efficient. I have had fillings done here, and Dr. Datillo explains what he needs to do and always gives you a time frame. I highly recommend this practice if you are looking for a great dentist!

As I've gotten older and them moving out of Parkway Center for obvious reasons, I understand that it's not the original owners of the business and has changed hands multiple times since then. Well these new people that own it are TERRIBLE!! A year ago, I got cavities filled and afterwards they said I owed 300 dollars. At first I thought, I have good insurance so how do I owe 300 dollars for a few cavities. But fine I went on a payment plan and paid it off. Also my wife went in a week after me and did the same thing but she didn't owe anything. Well how is that when I am under her insurance? So I went in for my next cleaning and they said I needed scaling done. Ok no big deal and also that I had a 300 dollar credit because oh, I wasn't supposed to be charged for those cavities that I got filled!! Ok, fine mistakes are made and appreciate they gave me the credit. They begin to schedule my scaling procedure and they give me the numbers and what they want to do. I then, as any responsible patient would do, proceed to make it clear to them that "I DON'T WANT ANYTHING DONE THAT MY INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER". They describe to me about this antibiotic that they put in between my teeth as well and I of course asked "DOES MY INSURANCE COVER THAT"? They said no, and of course I said "THEN DO NOT DO IT". They hand me the paper to sign and I went in the next week or so to begin the procedure for the right side of my teeth. Well thank god I cancelled my appointment to get the other side done because they still decided to charge me for that antibiotic that I CLEARLY TOLD THEM NOT TO DO!!! After a month of jumping through hoops and even having my insurance emailing them to have them get in contact with me, the front desk girl has the nerve to cop an attitude with me and tell me that I signed the paper. THAT DOESN'T MATTER!! I'm just the idiot patient, when I clearly inform you to not do anything that my insurance does not cover and then you put a paper in front of me to sign, I'm going to assume that you're not doing anything that my insurance does not cover!!! So now they want me to pay for over 600 dollars worth of stuff I said not to do!!! HAHAHAHA!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Either it's the front desk girl with the poor attitude that doesn't know how to do her job or the people that own this place now are trying to pull scams. Either or, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

I've also encountered some (lack of) insurance problems, and Dr. B has worked with me on those to try to lessen the stress. Worth the drive to the south hills, for sure! Also, the office itself is relaxing. Some of the ceiling tiles in the rooms are clouds, just for an added touch :) And there is a photo book in the lobby of a medical mission/service trip Bellios took. He's just an actual decent human being, which is comforting when you're sitting in that dreaded chair!

The whole staff was incredibly kind and they are all very upbeat. Dr Bellios was so nice in explaining everything to me when he made my treatment plan. There wasn't a single question or concern that I brought up that he didn't make me feel at ease about. The girl at the front desk (Rena?) is super awesome about finding an appointment time that works with your schedule and working with you for a payment plan if you need it. She puts you at ease the minute you walking in the door and that makes her spectacular. I ended up needing a root canal, crown and some fillings. The root canal wasn't what I thought it would be like. I was so scared that it would hurt but Dr Bellios was very patient and made sure it didn't hurt at all. Every step of the way he was very kind and patient, even when some things just wouldn't get numb! I've Now completed my treatment plan and I couldn't be happier. If you are looking for a new dentist I highly recommend coming here. The whole staff is great and if you're afraid of the dentist, like I was, they'll fix that :)

Only met Dr. Lisa for maybe 2 minutes and she didn't even say anything about the cracked crown I knew I had or my needed dental work. I had to tell her about them and ask my questions. Took them almost 6 months to get a preauth from my insurance which was ridiculous but what's even worse? I called multiple times during that 6 months for other dental issues that had come up and NEVER got anyone on the phone and I did leave messages that NEVER got returned. By the time someone called me about my preauth I was so surprised and let them know about all the other work I needed since this is the first person I was able to talk to from their office since my initial appointment. Safe to say even that experience was negative and I will not be going back.

Dr. Maslo has been our family dentist for over 25 years. He recently offered to come in at 8:00 on…read morea Saturday night to take care of a dental emergency on his way in from out of town. Then fit me in early morning a few days later to do a follow-up on me. He always takes the conservative approach so as to not gouge you or your insurance. He tries the least invasive route first and only does more when necessary unlike stories I've heard about other practices. Not only that, he is always gentle and kind, constantly checking to make sure you're ok as he's working on you. I wouldn't recommend anyone else!
