We have had issues with our fireplace in the mountains and had really poor service from the local people (including a recommendation to spend greater than $20k on a new fireplace and remodel) and I decided to see if someone in Denver would be willing to do the 90 mile drive and help us out and service what we had. I contacted All Fired Up in the afternoon on Friday. After a couple of email exchanges, they told me that they were fairly close by and could come by as soon as they finished their current call. Within the hour they were on their way knocking at the door with protective blankets and tools in hand. I had surmised that my gas fireplace, of over 20 years, needed a new thermocouple or similar, which is precisely what it needed. They quickly got to work replacing parts and cleaning the whole thing. We love to support the entrepeneur, and this couple treats others, as they like to be treated. They did the job right, removing the wood burning stove before they cleaned the chimney, to ensure the dirt and grime buildup was removed from behind the stove, not just up the chimney (the other estimate I got was going to charge more for this). I had originally reached out to All Fired Up, after purchasing a house that had a wood fireplace, in order to get them scheduled to clean it upon closing. After going back-and-forth via text and sending some pictures of the inspection report after mentioning a small crack (that I thought was small) in the flue. Bobbie immediately recommended that I have a further inspection done on the fireplace, because it could be a lot more than what it appeared. I had a full inspection done top to bottom on the fireplace, and the repairs ended up costing $10,500, that I was able to catch prior to closing on the house and add that into the inspection objection and have the seller paying for the cost to repair the fireplace and bring it back to wood-burning. I can say, without a doubt that all fired up, saved me all that money, and allowed me to maintain a wood-burning fireplace. I can not thank them enough, I will refer them to everyone who needs any of their services, it's the least I could do!
