We visited Redding for a few days and decided to try this place out. We contacted the business beforehand to ask about hours/reservations/and the fire time since we would be leaving town before the pieces would have been fired. They mailed us our pieces for $10 and it made this so worth while for us. We had so much fun. This place has a very light and comfortable atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We love our pieces and Olán to go back if we ever visit again.

Before the kiln and glaze! How cute are these.

Went here today with my boyfriend to try our hand in painting ceramic. So much fun! There is something for everyone. The atmosphere is nice, there's soft music in the background, and there is plenty of seating. However, the only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars, is the fact that while we were painting, an art class for kids came in and the place became very noisy. It'd be nice if there was a second room for kids/parties, but I understand that space is limited. Prices aren't terribly bad. Most things are under $20 and there is a $3 studio fee. There are cheaper items to paint, it's really up to the person. I painted a gnome($12) and my boyfriend painted a frog($20). We found a studio coupon on the website for a $2.99 studio fee for up to 4 people. So the two of us only paid $2.99 instead of $3 each. Is was $37 after everything, but we spent 3 and a half hours painting, enjoying each other, and having fun. I would recommend this to anyone.

Recently I hosted a fun filled paint night complete with food, games, anf beverages as a bridal celebration after hours. Felisha and her staff including our instructor Asher were amazing! So accomodating! They helped with decorations and take down, played music we could all enjoy and allowed us breaks so we could eat, visit, and do bridal games. I cant say enough about their services or their excellent prices! Will plan more events at this location for sure. All of the ladies that attended were pleased with their paintings and game winnings.

Both Alyssa's were great also. We had 24 kids so we reserved the GREEN room. ( it's double in size so choose this if you have a lot of ppl coming ) I saw big rowdy kids in the toddler area and a worker quickly moved them along. It was good to see that. It's a bit pricey in my opinion, at least $75 too much but the kids all had a great time. It's our 4th party held here and won't be our last. Thank you!

Two areas for older kids on the left and middle sections, and another section on the right for smaller kids. They have a dodgeball area as well as a rock climbing wall The prices are reasonable, especially when you have younger kids shorter than 42". It only cost $7-$8 per kids. They also have an arcade area in the main lobby. Not a ton of games but enough to keep a kid busy for 30-45 minutes? A few of my negative experiences: 1. it's a smaller trampoline park and in a place like Redding, when it rains for example, the place is PACKED. 2. Even though they had a "little kid" section, there was no regulation. There were tons of older kids running around the toddler area, knocking over our toddler and baby. 3. the yelp hours, their website hours and their actual hours are not the same which is super frustrating. Yelp says they're open at 10am every day Their website says "Normal Hours: Monday - Friday : 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Saturday: 10 AM - 8 PM Sunday: 11 AM Their actual hours: 11am Monday - Friday (see photo) 4. No one answers the phone here. I tried calling at 10am, and continued to call every 15-20 minutes without anyone ever answering the phone. Then around 2:30pm someone finally answered and confirmed they opened at 11am that morning... Which sucked because by the time we got their after 3:30 the place was slammed and our kids were overran by older kids. Over all I'd give it a 3 stars. I would've given it to 4 Star, but I hated that it was so crowded. I also hated that i tried calling for over 3 hours and no one answered the phone DM me and I'll show you the call log. I won't post here because it's unnecessary

For $75 (a BARGAIN) they ran the train as our own private railroad for 4 hours. There are also some historical buildings (and a few re-creations) and old, retired, "real" trains (steam engine and a caboose) on the fairgrounds near the railroad--so there's some other cool stuff to see. (Note that you can't go in to any of these buildings outside of the annual Glenn County Fair in May.) There are several grassy areas and some picnic tables that served as lunch spots for our guests. PLUS there are restrooms near the train "depot" area--near the old train depot and 1-room school building. (The restrooms are old and small, but they were very clean and nicely maintained.) it looks like the railroad has had a few web pages over the years, but there hasn't been much updated lately and some are no longer up and running. However, as of the date of this review, you can find a little more information online at the following: http://onprailroad.tripod.com/ https://roadtrippers.com/us/orland-ca/points-of-interest/orland-newville-pacific-railroad?lat=40.80972&lng=-96.67528&z=5 A few minor considerations: The (short) tunnel was a little frightening for one or two of the very young (3 year old?) children. However, it's short enough that you can simply hug them to you for the 15-20 seconds required for this. Orland can be very hot in the middle of the summer, so a scheduled event could be canceled due to extreme heat conditions. (This would be a big disappointment, but nobody would have much fun if it's that hot.) You'll need to do some paperwork to get approval from the Glenn County Fairgrounds and the Orland Police, plus you'll need liability insurance (which you may have to purchase for the event), but it was all worth it. There are no restrooms at the usual picnic area (near the intersection of Papst & Yolo streets); the restrooms are about 100 yards away (near the old school and depot). This really isn't inconvenient, unless you have young children who need to go "right now!", and then that 2-minute walk could be a little too long.

When we were paying for order the manager (who helped us) mentioned to us if we had the CEC app we could earn more tokens. Yay! Large dining area, so you're all spread out. The entire dining/ amusement area is very well lit. I have been to other CA locations were the dining room is dark, and the gaming area just as spooky. When I can't see my kid at an attraction because the room is dark is a big fat no, I don't know if a weirdo is near my kid at the skew ball game. And I cannot stress how gross carpets are, but I knew these were fairly maintained as I could still see the many colors and designs in the print. I have been some other CEC locations where the carpets are BLACK. And the walls and arcades were CLEANED. Paint wasn't rubbed off. Video screens weren't caked with grime. The salad bar was fresh and it sits close to the front customer service counter so it was consistently replenished and kept clean. I hate having to track down staff to get more tomatoes for their empty salad bar. Normally when our family goes to any CEC the adults just get salad bar because the pizzas are cardboard. This time we, the adults, tried their pizzas and wings. I can honestly say this is the first time as an adult I enjoyed my pizza. It was served hot, cheesy, and we devoured the entire pizza! The wings we unexpectedly spicy, too spicy for anyone at our table to enjoy. I asked the manager if that was the typical bbq sauce and not the hot bbq, like in error. He said he could make them less spicier for us, and he promptly came out with a fresh order of in spicy bbq wings. There was a vending machine of just ice cream novelties. The kind my kiddos wanted were all gone. The manager saw us at the machine and opened up the flap to see if there were anymore varieties. Yep, he found some more. So yes, I do recommend Chuck E Cheese, BUT only on Redding. The other locations in CA turned me off to arcade/ pizza restaurants, but this one I do recommend. Everyone in your party will leave content.

The first employee barely spoke, answered questions by pointing at the menu, and even asked, "Do they even know how to share?" when I asked about an unlimited play card. The employee at the prize counter wasn't much friendlier, and to top it off, my 8-year-old said "thank you" on the way out and got nothing but a blank stare in return. Maybe it was an off day, but two unfriendly employees really put a damper on what should've been a fun family outing--especially for an $80 visit. The kids had fun, but a little kindness goes a long way.

They bring tons of different legos for the kids to create with, and help design a special theme that all the kids can build and contribute too. Totally great for winter birthday parties like we have! In the 45+ min we waited, no one from the wait list ahead of us collected a single skate trainer. And we were repeatedly told we couldn't use one. I definitely understand waiting our turn, but when no one ahead is coming to collect them..... The guy at the skate rental place when we first arrived was super nice tho!
