I opted for the cut with the exception that the upper body hair be trimmed to half the current length. What Chico got was instead all his hair cut to ~1". Luckily I got there in time to save his tail & ears. The groomer (owner?) said that's a standard puppy cut, but when I reminded her of our discussion a couple hours before, she started making excuses, so I had to remind her a couple times of my initial request before she apologized for her mistake. She offered a 20% discount & even figured that incorrectly. Obviously no tip was given. Chico & I are both in shock. He's not the same puppy he was this morning!

Both of the women in the store were delightful and you can tell they truly show love to the dogs. There is a designated gated area for play both inside and out with water bowls, toys, beds, etc. While leaving, he was rewarded with treats. :) On top of ALL of that - they finished super fast. I was told it'd be an hour and a half to two hours & it only took an hour and twenty minutes! Thank you so much, Top Dog! I am recommending to all my friends.

"No, tell her we're booked out for months and that if she hasn't been here for over two months" I have taken my dog Scarlet to Riptide Grooming and she has been groomed by other groomers. Our dog was quite nervous on arrival for grooming services but was at ease and happy when we came to pick him up. His nails are black and so hard to trim and avoid the quick so it's such a treat to find someone to help with his nails. Brooke used a grinder instead of clippers to ensure that she wouldn't nip him. 10/10 would highly recommend for grooming. We didn't use the boarding facilities but they were easily visible and were very nice and clean. They have lots of technology to view your fur-baby during boarding and if needed, I would certainly use them for boarding without hesitation.
