Not honest about the installation process…read more We had a huge project that we trusted with LL Flooring and their subcontractor. We had to pay the full amount for materials and labor (tens of thousands of dollars) prior to an installation date even being scheduled. That's not standard with contractors, but we agreed to it because LL promised that our contractor would not be paid until we signed completion paperwork stating that everything had been finished. That did not happen - our contractor was paid even though we did not sign paperwork and even called LL to say that they were not done. Obviously, our contractor is no longer motivated to finish up the job. We were also told that the contractor would move all of our furniture. That didn't really happen (they only moved some stuff) and we now have a lot of damaged furniture and electronics. Overall, extremely disappointing.
