We just got home from Disneyland and tried to unlock our door when the lock just broke apart. It was almost 7:00 pm on a Saturday night when I called this locksmith and he answered right away. He asked for my address and was at my home in 15 min. He examined the lock and gave me a fair estimate. As soon as I said yes he opened the fort in minutes then replaced the lock. He also fixed the door because it was heavy on the lock mechanism l, which caused the issue in the first place. He was done in less than an hour. it started with me trying to replace the battery on my key until i realized that the screw in the back was basically melted in. it got so bad that the video shows just how bad it got. called up All in All Locksmith and they said they would be there in 10 min and i got lucky since i was 5 min away from their workshop. they came and diagnosed what was wrong, was pretty funny bc we both laughed at what happened. he said i needed to get a new key bc mine was far too gone and said for a new key WITH the remote it would be $250 and for ONLY the key would be $200. i was flabbergasted until i search it up online and new keys plus remotes were $350+ so i was fine paying for this. he got it working within 20 minutes and then left. all of this was done in under an hour and i didn't get stranded read more
