Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the front door trim replacement. I provided photos and explained that I wanted something similar to the existing trim. We discussed flat PVC, and I specifically asked if it would be similar to what was already there, just without the decorative profile. The finished result was not what I expected, and the caulking and paint work did not look professionally finished. Paint was left on the concrete near the bottom door trim, and debris was left in the yard. The storm door also did not operate properly after the work--it no longer opened as far or closed/latch as it had before. Screws were also left stripped and shutters were bent. I had to carve out additional time for the company to return and try to correct the issues. I had also requested replacement of the smaller inner trim, but only after the work was completed was I told that it was part of the storm door and could not simply be replaced. I wish this had been explained during the estimate so I could have made an informed decision beforehand. The original project also included work on the garden hose connection. They ran into an issue and told me they would provide a new quote, but I never received one. Even if they ultimately couldn't complete the work, a follow-up letting me know would have been appreciated. Overall, the concrete work was good, but the door-trim workmanship, cleanup, communication, additional time required for corrections, and lack of follow-through left me disappointed.

The main project was to replace more than two dozen rotting boards and the steps on our 20-year-old deck, ensure the structural integrity of the deck, and jack up a corner of the deck that had sunk a couple of inches. He also power-washed the deck and the siding of the house that faced the deck. We also needed work done indoors. He repaired a door frame to a bedroom, fixed a broken storm door, replaced marble tile in our foyer, installed a missing sliding closet door, and procured and installed beautiful luxury plank vinyl flooring for a bedroom. He communicated clearly with us throughout every project, made suggestions when he saw something that needed improvement, and always checked with us when a decision needed to be made. In every situation, he did high-quality work in a very timely fashion. He always arrived when he said he would, made sure that the times were convenient for us, and always left the work area clean and organized. Since he was fixing the window, the crack, and painting the ceiling, I asked for a quote to paint 2 of the rooms downstairs and install baseboards in my kitchen.
