She is very gentle and always makes sure she is never causing pain because if at any time my boys ever complain of pain, she'll reassess and take a break if needed. I have been a patient at Smile Design Winter Springs for over a year. they provide a wide range of…read moredental services, which is very convenient. However, I have encountered problems with them. Last year, I received bills for which I did not owe. It took a lot of time, including visits to their office, to get the statements straightened out. This year, their office staff has dwindled, which I believe is part of their troubles. This year, I have had problems with scheduling. I have needed two crowns, both of them did not arrive from the lab in the two weeks promised. I showed up for my appointment to get the first crown seated, only to be told that it had not arrived. I had received no calls or messages, so my appointments (and my schedule) had to be changed. My second crown has yet to appear, but this time I did receive a call. Apparently, no one is able to track these shipments, so it comes to guesswork. I told them that I need to make a trip in the next few days, but there was nothing to do but wait! Another thing that has changed is that the dental staff seems to be disorganized. The assistants have trouble finding the materials and implements that should be at their fingertips. Does not exude competence and efficiency! I am searching for another provider.

The bill was for a claim denied by insurance in error so asked for them to resubmit the claim for the bill to insurance and then mail any outstanding invoices to my home to avoid missed emails. They said it was all taken care, claim was submitted and bills would be mailed. However we continued to have the same invoice sent to email and threatening collections. I would respond and ask for an update on the resubmit to insurance with no response. Even though the bill was something submitted incorrectly that should truly be covered by insurance, I finally called and paid the bill just to get them to stop threatening collections. I don't trust or recommend this office!!!
