No prep or appointment call confirmation got all my info on what to do from google even tried calling just to get some clarification. I got all four wisdom teeth extracted over two weeks ago. And have had a terrible time just trying to get a follow up to make sure MY HEALING is ok. No calls, no dental follow ups, not a single check in. Have left messages, texted their texting service, and at one point even let them know I thought I may have had an infection and was experiencing discomfort. And NOT one voicemail returned and an inconsistent texting service. Extremely disappointed with the communication at this dental office and will be seeking a new one specifically for this reason

From the initial phone call for an appointment, to the check-in / waiting process, to being examined. It was all terrible and I would not recommend this office to anyone. I can go into specific details and elaborate on all aspects, but I honestly think even writing this much is a waste of my time. The main point in this review is to forewarn others. To be honest, the only reason this office seems busy and has large volume of customers is because orthodontist in central Florida is as scarce as finding a Florida panther on your lawn!

My daughter is now 10 and my son is 5, and both of them are genuinely excited when it's time for a dental visit. They have never developed a fear of the dentist, which I credit in large part to the kindness, patience, and gentle care they have received over the years. We are always seen in a timely manner, the front desk staff is warm and welcoming, and the dental assistants treat the kids with so much love and gentleness. Dr. Tawadrous is wonderful with children and takes the time to make them feel comfortable and at ease. As a parent, it's such a blessing to have a dental office that my children actually look forward to visiting. We are so grateful for the excellent care they have received over the years and highly recommend this practice to other families.

The care with which they exhibit is above and beyond. They are so gentle and kind. The whole office staff exudes positivity and kindness, and you don't find customer service or personalized care like that anymore. They even had a welcome sign for new patients that included my baby's name. Such a cute personal touch. Dr. Bertot gave my husband and I all the facts and information needed to make an informed decision. He didn't rush us or get annoyed with the millions of questions I asked. He was very detailed in his descriptions of everything and took the time to show us proper post-op care and made sure we did it right before he let us go. I will drive out of my way to go see him and his office staff because I know my baby is in good hands!

THIS IS A REVIEW FOR PARENTS OF TODDLERS/YOUNG KIDS…read more The complaint I have is actually regarding the way they approached my toddler's care. 1. Asked on the phone if they could treat a young child of two years (the answer on the phone was yes, and to bring them in during my appointment). However when I arrived with them they seemed to be very uncomfortable with a young child and the doctor actually didn't look at their teeth, but instead one of the hygienists who "used to work at a pediatric dentist" did. 2. The teeth staining I had concern about (because they can lead to decay and infection) I was told was not a big concern. I was also advised against using fluoride toothpaste and to keep brushing their teeth using baby toothpaste. No additional instructions were given until they could spit better. At the time I felt informed and that my concerns were answered, but this was me putting too much trust in them I think, and how they present themselves as a "family dentistry for all ages". 3.My toddler now has two cavities because of following this advice (or lack of advice). I tried to do the right thing and go to a professional in advance, but I didn't get that here. I am extremely disheartened and wish I had skipped this place and brought my child to a pediatric dentist back then. My toddler is very likely facing oral surgery now because I was given false assurance that things were fine. *Please if you are a parent concerned about your young toddlers teeth look into a pediatric dentist first or at least make sure the doctor will actually look at your child's teeth as he didn't look at my child's directly. You could save yourself from a very unwanted and preventable situation!* My care for my own teeth was very good here, which is why it makes me especially sad that this situation happened because it seems as though they are kind enough and skilled enough but simply didn't take the situation seriously for my child . I have no issues with the care of my teeth, but I would never recommend this place for a young child's care based on my experience.

When I was a kid I had perfect teeth. I always had a perfect check up until I was 10 and my parents…read moreswitched insurance companies. Which led to my family changing to a new dentist. This new dentist needed, I don't know but I'm assuming a new set of golf clubs, so he drilled our teeth. Yeah we switched dentists and went from ZERO cavities to four! I fought it like a feisty kid would, but my Catholic mom threatened me with a switch and getting spanked with a switch ain't no fun so I let them drill. Turns out I was correct because six months later my parents switched back to the old dentist, for reasons which I will never know, but can assume. When we went back to the old dentist he did the [facepalm] and told us that most likely the other dentist was just drilling for money and that he didn't believe we had cavities. [don't worry, I'm getting to the end soon enough, just sit back and enjoy] Years later I had another run in with another complete waste of space dentist who damaged my mouth yet again by doing unnecessary procedures. So by now I'm gun shy about dentists. So then I meet Dr. Maas who was nice and I happened to know her hygienist so I stayed there for many years but every time I was ready to leave the chair I got this sales pitch about my mouth was leaking mercury and I needed to have those old fillings out. HA! Not going to fall for that one again! I said no and for years I did the same routine every six months, NO. Nope. Nada. No Thanks! Maybe next time. Until that one day I must have been sick or had a concussion and said YES! So Dr. Maas did the drilling and had to make bigger holes in my teeth and then put in a resin. Yummy. You'd think that was it with the sales pitches? Nope. Well I got tired of all the "buy this" and "do this" to my teeth so I left and went back to another dentist who I had used once before for an emergency tooth repair. When I told him what I did he did the [facepalm] and said there is very limited leakage from old fillings and that it was this big hyped controversy. I later searched and found that this dispute is really up in the air and there is no definite proof that the old fillings were unhealthy My tiny little metal fillings would have most likely lasted me until I died of old age with out any issues from mercury. I also found out that resin fillings don't last as long and they also have an issue with a TOXIC leakage in to the mouth with Bisphenol A! So needless to say I was left extremely unhappy about the entire procedure.
