This family owned and operated company is the worst local plumber/heating service you can get. Peter is a liar and a hack. First I was told I'd get the wall-mounted furnace installed on the foundation and was specifically told by them that they would not install it on the wooden wall as it would cause vibration throughout the house. They proceeded to install the furnace on the wall like they said they weren't going to do. JR and a guy they called "old man" installed it. "Old man" I caught pissing in my back yard and his excuse was that he had a bladder problem. Whatever. Randomly a truck pulls in my driveway and a guy gets out and heads in my backyard to head into my basement. I go down in my basement and see that JR apparently sold my old water tank to this guy. The guy hands him money, he gets it out of my basement and takes off with it. Really? wtf? You couldn't have waited to sell it maybe after you remove it from my house instead of selling it right from underneath me? So an all day thing, I have heat finally around 8PM. They leave my house and leave a mess in my basement afterwards-whatever. I'm walking with no shoes on in my house and I notice a rumble. Sure enough, the whole floor vibrates from the furnance and the noise travels up into my kitchen and is audible. I called the company to complain and they came back and dampened the back of the furnace with fiberglass insulation. It still vibrates and makes noise. Peter(the owner) said, okay, finally, and said they could install it on the foundation like they said (but why would I have them do all that work over, it probably would've been done quickly and carelessly at that point. The way Peter was finally cooperating and admitted to the fault showed it probably would've been done half-assed). So whatever, I kept the furnace on the wooden wall because of everything already and how it was turning out. Even getting the guys to admit there was a noise. The first time they came by, they said I was crazy and they couldn't feel the vibration or hear the noise. The furnace still is audible and vibrates my floor near the sink in the kitchen. The furnace vibration is audible even in my bedroom.. I probably should've had them move it to the foundation after all... So, the furnace starts leaking(all the brand new piping is now rusted). I come home to no heat and stuff constantly. They've been here so many times, I would say it would equate to be every Saturday for 8 months after it was installed and it's still not fixed. Most of the Saturdays they were a no call/no show. Today is one of those days as well. Peter the owner asks me today why I still go through them if I have so many problems with them. MAYBE CAUSE YOU INSTALLED AND WARRANTIED THE SERVICE AND PARTS!! He's been saying he's going to call the manufacturer forever because even he is sick of working on it but still hasn't. About dispatching: Maureen is EXTREMELY rude and quite frankly, driving them down just as much as their quality of work is. She doesn't dispatch, or fails to call us back like she said. It got to be so bad that Peter(owner) said to start calling him directly to make appointments. I still get a no call/no show. Come to find out down the line, after so long trying to work with this company to fix the problem. The guy who installed it, JR(the owners brother) was fired apparently for embezzling from the company and Peter said he's "turning the company around". Every time I call and speak to Peter, he'll say he'll come out himself to fix it, and doesn't. He sends some other technicians in which, EVERY SINGLE TIME, they have come here, they tell me that "who ever installed this, installed this wrong". I'll go back to Peter and tell him this and he'll respond with, "why didn't you just have me go out there to look at it?" and also tells me, "don't listen to any of the guys I send there" Well what is it that's wrong? Your technicians are saying it was installed wrong and that's why it's leaking, causing noise, and making my baseboard rattle but the "owner" is telling me that's not the case. I could keep going on about all the instances they've been here. There's a story for every time. Too bad, Peter puts on a show as a nice guy, I feel like I was duped. read more

I wish I could give less than 1 star. These guys came out to my house 5 years ago to look at my furnace in the winter, the heat was barely working. They ended up convincing me to replace my existing unit and water tank with a single on demand system for $4500 installed. This was a major purchase that I couldn't afford but was told it was basically my only option. When they finally finished after a few days, I was charged an additional $250 for piping with no prior warning. Within a week, the system blew an internal pipe, pouring water into my basement because the intake and exhaust were not installed correctly, and again my house was left with no heat in the middle of the winter. They tried to charge me all over again for a whole new system which I obviously refused to pay but I did end up paying extra for some additional addons they recommended (like a circulator and a pump for any overflow from the pressure valve). They left the old damaged unit in my basement for 4 years before finally taking it with them. From that point on I've had nothing but problems with the unit that they have never been able to diagnose correctly. Whenever it's really hot or really cold outside (90+ or below 10 is a good estimate), the unit shuts down until I manually turn the power off and on. You have no idea how frustrating it is to have your shower go ice cold and need to go down two flights of stairs to a basement in a towel to fix it, then pray it lasts the rest of your shower without doing it again. Over the years they've tried countless solutions, each time charging me for extras like a secondary loop for my heat, to a whole-house water filter, to a new variable speed circulator, and each time claiming that this would fix my problem. Yesterday my fiancee was stuck at home alone during a blizzard while I was trapped in a hotel during a statewide travel ban. The heat completely shut down and would not restart, so I had to drive home despite the ban to see what I could do as the house was in the mid 50s and dropping fast. I recorded a video of what the boiler was doing and called them back to have them come look again. We had to sleep in the livingroom with our kitchen oven on with the door open to heat the house. They came out this morning and the unit turned back on right away (the temp was back to 21 degrees outside) and they again were not able to reproduce the problem. I was able to manually cause it again by running the water, and they replaced a small part after the manufacturer told them there was a 60% chance it was the cause. They then tried to charge me another $250. At this point I had already paid $6,000 in total to them and had to put up with frustration, days out of work, and having to deal with their constant inability to make any scheduled appointment on time. I refused to pay anything additional because at some point they need to take responsibility for previously misdiagnosing the issue. I was told to never call them again as the plumber slammed my front door. I was called back soon after and told that he had to tell the owner I refused to pay. When I asked for the owners name and contact info so that I could explain the situation, he would not share it and said he'd have him give me a call. I did get a call back soon after from a blocked number from someone claiming to be the owner. Again, I had to ask for his name 3 times before he simply gave me David instead of just "the owner". I offered him a fair account of the issues I've faced and he showed no signs of concern for my poor customer experience, only the $250 he was expecting for the lastest "fix". This company has been a nightmare. It makes me sick to my stomache how much money I've given them and how little they care about their customers or making good on their mistakes. They take zero ownership for their work, and frankly are a borderline scam service. Please avoid using them at all costs, for your own good. read more

Awful! I set them up to come "between 8AM and 10 AM" on a Tuesday. I waited in my car until 10:30. No show. No phone call to say they were running late. After two calls to Maureen in the office I finally got them to commit to show up at 2PM. The work (by their own estimate) was a part of a day for one person. It was a little ductwork that needed to be fabbed on site and about 10 feet of thermostat wire. Materials were MAYBE $200. Their price was $1800. I laughed and asked how much they charge per hour. He responded that they don't price by the hour but by the job. I asked what they base their lump sum pricing on and he said he didn't know...maybe $200 an hour. A week before, I had hired a licensed, highly reputable electrician...two guys for $90 an hour (not each...for both). This whole experience just didn't pass the smell test. It seemed to me that they were used to dealing with inexperienced homeowners and had no qualms about overpricing. In the end I offered to let him do it for $500. He looked like he had gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. We parted company. So...unreliable, predatory pricing, and an office that has no idea how to deal with customers. Very overpriced, misleading, and incompetent service. I called about a boiler that wouldn't turn on. After a quick inspection, they told me the transformer relay was broken and it would require a new one. when i asked how much that would cost, he guessed around $500. I asked how much the part itself cost, since it seemed like a simple part and a simple installation, and was told around $300. They charged me $125 for the service fee. I then went online and ordered the part for $15. When I went to install it, I inspected the wires going into the original relay. The one marked G was connected to C and the one marked C was connected to G. I switched the wires on the original and it turned on. So in summary, they misdiagnosed the problem, lied about how much the part cost, missed the obvious actual problem, and charged me $125 for being at my house for about twenty minutes. Anyone want a transformer relay for $300. I have an extra. read more

Had Mark & Frank visit to fix a water heater pilot light that would not stay lit. They re-lit the pilot and told us that all we needed to do was turn up the thermostat. Note we were the last call before a holiday weekend. We are now spending our holiday weekend relighting our pilot every few hours while we do not get a call back. NOT pleased. read more

Maybe a few people have had problems with service, but so far it's been ok for me. Here's my breakdown of my experience. First off, they were prompt to set up a date to replace a furnace. However in coming out that day they were an hour and fifteen minutes late. Ok this pissed me off as I am a busy man. They completed the job that day by 530. Took a lot longer that I thought. They seemed a little disorganized. No big deal. Not my problem. The job was significantly less than some of the "big guys". Overall it was over a grand less. The job was done well and I have had no issues. I had them install a water heater a few years ago and that turned out well. No issues. Two HUGE problems that I notice, and not just from other reviews. They leave a mess with the solder all over the place and they don't take the old furnace or water heater away. Very bad business. Nobody's want that stupid metal thing sitting there rusting in their basement. He said he would give me a guys name to take the junk out of there. Never did. Had to call the father to get a guys number to get the furnace out. I called the guy, gonna cost an extra $250. I paid it, wanted it out. Listen , would have loved to give 5 stars, but I rarely do. That would require flawless service. Clean the messes where you go and take the old shit out. Overall I've used these guys 3 times and have had no problems with "the FIX". However like a mentioned above, that could be worked on. Overall I think they were decent guys. And I don't play favorites. Look at my other reviews if you don't believe me. Lol. In fact, they left the property without heat after seeing that their earlier work failed and would not return unless we agree to pay twice for the same service and part. I called All in One Plumbing and they originally gave me a time to come out later in the afternoon which was fine. They called to say that a technician was done earlier and could come out sooner and were at my house within 2 hours of when I called which was fantastic. JR and another technician had the problem with my furnace fixed within a half hour and were very patient and helpful in showing me what the problem was and how they fixed it. Very courteous and did not talk down to me, which I appreciated. Well done! Will definitely use them again! read more

I wish I had read these reviews in 2011 when we had this company come and install a full gas boiler and heating loop system in our home. They also installed a hot water heater. TO THIS DAY they have not fixed the issues they caused in our home. We have had countless heating / plumbing professionals come here and basically tell us they screwed us. I've contacted the BBB and was basically told that they didn't respond to the BBB so that I was pretty much out of luck. We are STILL having issues with this heating system they installed. Currently, my two radiators on my second floor are still warm (two of the radiators THEY installed out of my whole main living area of my house) when my thermostat is reading 68 degrees and is set to come on at 62. My gas bill has been out of control each and every winter since they installed this system. Peter the owner of the company came here and told us everything was to code. His own employees came and told us that the whole system was installed incorrectly and that it should not have been installed this way in our home. I am disgusted with this company. We spent over $10,000 with this company and I've gotten nothing but issues in return. When I try to call to have them come fix it, I'm told they will come back, that Peter the owner would come back himself. Conveniently there is always "something that comes up" when they tell us they're coming. As much as I hate that so many of these stories are the same, I'm also glad that we're not the only ones they've screwed. read more

Great initial contact. Arrived when they said they would be there. Installed a sump pump for me. Not the best looking job but it definately corrected the problem. Let a mess in their work area and never came back to clean it up nor did they recement the floor where they had broken it up. To think I was considering having them replace my heating system. Bought my new boiler through all in one and also signed a 3 year service contract. The new boiler was installed incorrectly and the vent was backwards causing heat to be forced outside and fumes to be forced inside. They returned the next day after i called to make them aware of the issue and the same two men worked on the boiler for about three hours and said everything was all set. Later that day i realized i could not get the heat to shut off. I called again and the third time the boss/owner came to correct the previous error an switch the pipes again. After that visit the hot water in the shower was not working so yet again i called. The previous two men came again stating that the mixing valve needed to be replaced which would cost $200. After the repair we ran the shower to see if the water was hot and still no hot water. The men went downstairs to check the boiler and it appears the temp control valve had been turned down on the previous visit so the corrected that but still charged me for the mixing valve. Also recently they came to service the boiler and to my surprise what they stated was covered in my service contract is now not covered and they are billing me for the cleaning.
